Worthiness of Investment in B.Com at Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya

After analyzing the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    * Placement record: While some students mentioned that around 70% of students get placed, others reported that only 5-10% students got placed. The highest package offered was around INR 6.4 lakhs, and the average package was around INR 2.4 lakhs.
    * Teaching quality: Most students praised the teachers' knowledge and willingness to help, citing instances where teachers went beyond their duties to assist students. However, some students felt that the teaching quality was inconsistent and that some teachers lacked expertise in their subjects.

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Com Programs at Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what can be gathered about the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.Com programs:

    * Limited placement opportunities: While some students mentioned that the college provides good placements, others noted that the placement cell is mostly focused on MBA students. Few students reported getting relevant placements in their field, but many skills learned from college.
    * Some notable recruiters: A few students mentioned that top recruiters like TCS, HDFC Bank, and others visit the campus for recruitment, offering packages ranging from INR 2-3 Lacs per annum (around $25,000-$35,000 USD).
    * Placement percentage: According to one student, around 50-60% of B.Com students got placed during their course duration.

It appears that while the placement cell may not offer extensive placement opportunities for B.Com students, some students do manage to secure jobs through campus recruitments. However, the placement record seems inconsistent across different batches and students.

Note: The information presented is based solely on the provided reviews and does not reflect the entire experience of every student enrolled in the B.Com programme at Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya.

Mediocre teaching quality and outdated curriculum, overshadow the decent facilities of the college.
Placements: The overall infrastructure of the college is average. The faculty is not that so knowledgeable. Around 70% students get placed. Some top recruiting companies for our course include Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Amazon. The lowest package is INR 2-3 Lacs pa. College could do more, to improve the facilities.
Infrastructure: The quality of hostel facilities is average. Though the rooms are clean and well-maintained, the furniture is quite old and need replacement. The hostel has limited access to Wi-Fi, and the common areas like washroom and laundry room, are often not cleaned properly.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are average, with some being helpful and knowledgeable, while others lacking in these areas. Some teachers are not well qualified for their subjects, which affected the teaching quality. The teaching quality is also inconsistent, with some teachers being engaging and interactive, while others followed a monotonous teaching style.

Absolutely good and supportive faculty. The infrastructure is neither good nor bad.
Placements: 70% of students were placed. The lowest package is INR 1.5 Lakhs and the average package is around INR 2.4 Lacs and the highest package is INR 6.4 lakhs. Students got internship in SLPOL, tata, TCS, unisoft like companies. Top roles offered in our course was web developer and coder.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is avaialble in the hostel, and rooms are nice. Every books related to course is available in the library. Canteen food is not good. Medical and sports facilities are good. Wi-Fi has very low connection, and labs are good with neat and clean classes.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive and teach well. But, it doesn't make the student industry ready. Exams difficulty is good according to college level. The passing percentage for our course is 40%. In BCA course, they teach well but don't give you practicals for web development etc.

    This college provides moderate facilities.
Placements: The course was for the students who were interested in the IT field, and our accounting-related field. The highest salary package offered was up to 6 LPA. TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Around 60% of students got internships, and the role offered in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good and facilities were very few as compared to the fee structure. Sports and medical facilities were few in this college. There were no facilities which were satisfied students. But the campus was good. Extracurricular activities were fewer here, and the canteen was not worthy.
Faculty: Teachers and teaching quality education were great. Students can learn up to the skills. The pass percentage was more than 40% in this course. The semester exams were tough as books were relevant and different. Course was knowledgeable and also industry-ready for students.
Other: I opted for this course because students had one or more options for their careers.

It is an affordable college for commerce in Nagpur, and it has really helpful and caring teachers.
Placements: Students should have a minimum of 60% in 12th to take admission in B.Com here. The lowest package offered was 1 lac per annum, and the highest package offered was 6 lacs per annum. Infosys, Paytm, and Microsoft are the well-reputed companies that came here for placements. First division pass candidates are eligible for placements. Roles are accounting etc.
Infrastructure: The food is excellent at affordable prices. The hostel facilities are available. The infrastructure is not very good, but it's manageable. It has a library, CCTV and fire extinguisher facilities. Rooms are sanitized. Canteen, sports and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced and knowledgeable and are PhD degree holders. They have good subject knowledge and experience. The students are industry-ready, but it depends upon your capability. The exams are easy, provided you studied well before exams.
Other: It is the best and affordable course for commerce stream. Events held here are annual gathering, tree plantation, social awareness and more.

It is a good college but doesn't provide any placement drive.
Placements: There was no campus placement drive. I studied in B.Com, but I didn't get any opportunity to get placed in companies. They didn't provide us internship also. None of the top companies nor a single bank visited our college. Think once before you get admission here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good, and classrooms were well-equipped with good chairs and benches. Projectors were also provided in classrooms. Medical facilities and playground were also available. The cafeteria was good, and they were maintaining hygiene on the campus.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college were very good in their respective subjects and were concerned about each student. They motivated students to show their talent in another curriculum event. They took good care of students and paid attention to every student.

I am satisfied because of the infrastructure and faculty members provided by the college.
Placements: Around 50-60% of the students got placed in our course. During our course duration, our placement cell was very good, and even students were also very well in their studies. Many companies visited the campus and students got placed. Even internships were provided to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college were very well. We had labs, classrooms, a library etc. The food served in the canteen and mess was of good quality and according to our expectations. The medical facility was provided. Sports and games were also conducted weekly.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly qualified and knowledgeable. They were helpful whenever we asked any doubt. The course curriculum made students ready to work with good knowledge.
