Karnataka State Open University BSc Courses & Fees 2024: Admission 2024, Eligibility, Scholarships

After the process of application and document verification, selected candidates must submit the first-year BSc fee. This includes the first-year tuition fee, admission fee, security deposit, etc. The amount of BSc fee payable at admission is INR 23,900. The first-year fee for BPL Holders (Women), Defense & Ex-servicemen, Auto/Cab Drivers & their families, KSRTC/BMTC/KKRTC staff is INR 21,840. The mentioned fee has been sourced from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

Once the KSOU application form has been submitted, it will be examined by the university's admission committee. The admission committe will verify the uploaded documents. Based on the fulfiment of the eligibility, the university will communicate the final admission decision to the applicants through their registered mobile number. If selected, the university will provide you further information regarding allotment of study centre and other details for induction. Candidates who receive an approval from the university after the document verification must confirm their admission by submitting the course fee applicable to them.

Submitting the documents proving the eligibility of applicants is an important step in the KSOU application process. The following documents shall be submitted by the applicants seeking admission to the BSc programme:

• Photocopy of SSLC/Class 12 mark sheet
• Photocopy of mark sheet of PUC or its equivalent
• SC/ST caste certificate (if applicable)
• BPL card (in case of women candidates)
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card
• Two stamp size and two passport size photos should be submitted at the time of verification

KSOU provides direct admission to the applicants who meet the preset eligibility criteria. Interested candidates can submit an online application by visiting the KSOU Online Admission Portal. The steps included in the KSOU BSc application process are listed below:

Step 1: Click 'New Registration' KSOU Online Admission Portal

Step 2: Fill out the registration form and generate login credentials.

Step 3: Your username will be instantly sent to you via e-mail or SMS. Use the username to log in.

Step 4: Fill out the application form with the required details, and upload your photo, signature & required documents.

Step 5: Submit the processing fee.

Step 6: After the online document verification, submit the KSOU BSc fee for the first year.

Step 7: Report at the Regional Center for original document verification and study material collection.
