Review of Khalsa College.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placements every year. The highest salary package offered is around 10-12 LPA. Students got selected in top IIM colleges for further study. College also provides internships in prestigious banks like axis bank and ICICI Bank.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is beautiful with a well-designed building. There are huge classrooms and libraries. There are 4 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels. Warden is appointed every year for mess and canteen checking. They provide good and quality food. There is no chance of ragging because ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is great. Exams are covering the syllabus. The pass percentage is 50%. There is also curriculum activities related to study like book fair which provide lots of books and also religious fest like Baisakhi which are very popular in Punjab.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in a career and the BBA degree provides a good start for candidates to develop management skills. The course takes students through the core areas of management including marketing, sales, etc.

It is a beautiful campus, but I am dissatisfied with the hostel timings.
Placements: I have not seen placements yet for the BBA department. Other departments have campus placements, but for the business administration department, none of the students heard about placements yet. However, I have seen the posters of students who got placed from the business department, but I still have a doubt regarding our placements. I hope we will get placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are good enough, but some washrooms don't work. The toilet seats are not in a good situation, so they need to be maintained properly. Our college needs to increase the Wi-Fi bandwidth limit because it is just 14 MB per student, which is not enough.
Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful, but some are arrogant also. However, there are some faculty members who treat every student equally and solve the doubts of every student, but some teachers judge students based on attendance. Teachers focus on a selected group of students, and they think those students do good in studies, and others are just a waste of time.
Other: Our college organises beautiful events, great arrangements and surroundings. Security restrictions are increased, but a good environment in the college is maintained.

I GIVE THIS COLLEGE 8/10 BECAUSE THIS COLLEGE PROVIDE GOOD PLACEMENT EVEN IN THE MINIMAL COURSES
Placements: 18 percent of students from my course were placed in big companies
The highest package was 6 LPA and lowest was 2.5 LPA top recruiting companies were DR REDDY FOUNDATION, CIPLA,and from some BANKS , almost 70 percent of students got internship, top roles offered in my course were , HR MANAGER , ANALYST, IT SECTORS
Infrastructure: Facilities were mind blowing, as I am a local student the classes , the labs , the medical facilities were mind blowing,
My friend was from outside his honest review for the college were good , the canteen and mess facilities were also good , doctors were also in college 24 by 7 availability of doctor
Faculty: The teachers were very comfortable And corporative with students, the knowledge of the teachers were very good , the quality of teaching very understandable, as an average student exams were slightly tough , students should be prepared for their exam
Other: I choose BBA ( bachelor of business administration) the best thing about this course is that ,this is all rounder course we get very good and knowledgeable information about business holders
Things should be improved is ragging some of the students do ragging in college
College very big by land fest and events were usually done , surroundings of the College were also good

It has very good infrastructure and facilities, but I am dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: Placements here are on average since we will not get enough salary package nor the whole batch gets placement. The salary package offered was also average. The minimum salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Almost 10%-15% of students were placed.
Infrastructure: It's a historical college which was established in 1892, and the architecture of Khalsa College was excellent. It has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities for every department like labs, classrooms with proper ventilation, well-furnished libraries, parking facilities and boys and girls hostels. Quality of food available in the mess and canteen is very clean and hygiene, and they also provide medical facilities and sports and games.
Faculty: All the faculty members here were quite helpful, supportive, qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Quality of teaching was average. The course curriculum is also average and not up to the mark, but I think that it could be improved much better.
Other: I have chosen this course because someone suggested to me, but I also like the infrastructure of Khalsa College. The college organised various events, fest, etc., and the university campus was spread over a wide area. The campus crowd was good.

The college is above avergae, infrastructure is amazing, should focus more on academics.
Placements: To be completely honest, the college is not much famous for its placement records, but again, if you are capable enough you can land up with a package of around 2-4 Lacs per annum. Talking about the number of students placed; the figure is not something that Khalsa college is proud of, but if one has the zeal and thurst, he/she shall definitely land up in some lucrative (in campus) job.
Infrastructure: Khalsa college proudly stands as one of the most beautiful and unique building not just in Amritsar, but in the whole India. It has a rich history and heritage. No wonder why UNESCO has given it the title of world heritage site. Khalsa college boasts one of the biggest libraries in Amritsar, including a lot of books of historical importance. Special care and importance is given to sports and various functions, festivals etc. Food quality is a mess in the hostel mess (except breakfast). Food available at canteen is comparatively good. Hostel and college rooms are well ventilated and lit.
Faculty: To be honest, I can't complain about the faculty and teaching staff. They are most helpful if the students are willing to study. Syllabus and curriculum is also okay and aptt. , but I believe is could be improved. The classes are not at all overcrouded except that of a few cources (like: B.Com)
Industrial exposure is almost zero. The college should focus more on practical knowledge rather than bookish one.
Other: The college participates actively in events, fests etc. (sometimes it feels like they are more inclined towards these activities rather than the academic ones. )
College buses are available for city students. The surrounds are open and green. Can't complain about the crowd too. It is one of the very few educational institutes where the percentage of female students is greater than that of male ones.

Value for money. Good infrastructure as well as studies.
Placements: The placements of the college are good. Many reputed companies visit our campus. The average package they offered was 2.5 LPA. And the highest package was 4 LPA. I was placed on Reliance Insurance and offered a package of 2.5 LPA, though I was a fresher. But they don't provide internship program.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too good. It is built on 330 acres. There are separate buildings for each department of commerce, science and agriculture. The labs have all the necessities. The college canteen provides good food. There are four different buildings of the hostel. Different facilities are provided in each hostel.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are very experienced. Some of them are PhD holders also. Their teaching style is good. They have a great command on their respective fields. They are very helpful. We can reach them whenever we have any query or any doubt. Overall, the teaching method is too good.
