Kharagpur College Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The college has not provided any placement opportunities for the students of our batch and our senior batch. Our college started providing placements after 2015. After 2015, good companies like TCS and Wipro, etc., visited our campus for placements. Most of the students did not get any placements from college.

Placements: I didn't go for placement, I went for higher education and left the opportunity for someone who needs that time. I am much interested in deep study so escape job opportunity. Most of the good companies approached to our college like Tata, Factsheef, Genpact, Accenture for placement.

Placements: Since this is not an engineering college, so we don't have placement. But our students are placed in the railway's forest banks and financial services. This is an industry exposed college with IIT, KGP. The internship is done from IIT, KGP. The students get jobs after completing their study.

Placements: It's a Honours college so there is no placement for any job. But former students cracked IIT JAM and top universities for Masters. I don't know about other departments but the Physics laboratories are in great condition. You would be thankful to the department for their help and knowledge.

Placements: As it is a general college, not a technical college, so there are no placements such as engineering or medical or other technical institution. But the toppers of the department easily join IIT for further study of M.Sc. To encourage the students, the college authority gives some rewards such as who are top in the whole college can get Rs. 10,000, and who is the 1st in the department can also get Rs. 5,000.

Placements: This is course of B.Sc. Maximum students go to different institute after graduation, which help them to get job in future. Maximum 75% students are placed in IIT NIT, DIFFERENT UNIVERSITY from all departments. As this is just a B.Sc. course, so there is no internship.

Placements: At my time, no placement facilities are provided to us, and also no campusing process held during that time. I hope after our batch maybe they have started campusing at college as it is highly required for those students, who are in need of work and as we know there are no good jobs present in Kharagpur, so if they provide the facility to the student, then it is helpful.

Placements: In our college, there are no facilities for placement because most of the students go for higher studies after successfully completing their studies. Most of them were selected in several famous universities for further studies. Some also start preparing for government jobs. There were no facilities of internship in our college. But, to make sure that the student can apply what they have learned in class, some field experience training where provided by the college itself. ...

Placements: 75% of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 8 lakh per annum, the lowest was 1.5 lakh per annum, and the average package offered was 4.5 lakh per annum. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., recruited students. 65% of students got internships from our course in companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. Top roles included Software Developer, Blockchain Project Manager, and Web Designer.

Placements: It was a degree college so few placements were offered. Few private banks like Axis Bank visited our college for recruitment. There were no internships in this course. Top role offered was bank manager. Almost 2-3% of students got internships in this course. Job fairs were also organised in this college.

Placements: In the chemistry department, 20% of students were placed in companies. Bandhan Bank and Airtel were the top recruiting companies for our department. 1.8 LPA was the highest salary package offered in the chemistry department. No one got an internship. Business analyst was the main role offered in our course.

Placements: There is a job fair every year. Many companies came and offered jobs, but the pay was low and sometimes insufficient. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Tata, Bandhan, ICICI, etc., visited our campus.

Placements: Most students got placements as per the courses.

Placements: The placements in this college are very good. Almost everyone can get a job during the placement. But it is a general degree college. So students have to complete Masters degree to get a job. There are selected Masters degree subject in this college. You have to went to other colleges to complete Masters in Science subjects.

Placements: At least 45 students are in our batch of chemistry honor's, our college is much better than any other colleges for chemistry honors. Because many students got chances to read in IIT from our college. So, in my opinion, our college is best. Anyone should go to our college.

Placements: Sometimes campus placement happens but it is not that good. In 2017 two companies came. They take 14 commerce students and 15 math Hons students. But normally I had not seen any company. The principal says that in the future, more companies will come for placement and they will take good student. College always tries to give placement. But as it is not a city college, fewer companies visit here.

Placements: Generally, no placements are available here. Few placement available for BCA and B.Sc students in labs and for computer works. Here, we have to complete our graduation degree and have to go for other higher degrees.
