Q:   How can I get admission in KIIT School of Law?

A: 

To get admission to any of the UG & PG courses at KIIT School of Law (KSOL), candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the respective courses. The final admission is granted based on candidtaes qualifying scores in KIITEE exam, which is conducted by the institute itself. All the KIITEE qualifiers will also be evaluated based on their past academic scores. Interested students can apply on the official website to apply for the exam.

Yes, you can join KIIT School of Law directly if you have completed your 12th standard with a minimum percentage of 55% in aggregate from a recognised board. You can also join if you have completed an equivalent degree recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Here are the eligibility criteria for admission to KIIT School of Law:

  • Minimum percentage: 55% in aggregate in 12th standard from a recognised board or equivalent degree recognised by the UGC.
  • Entrance exam: You will also need to qualify the KIIT Law Aptitude Test (KLAT) conducted by KIIT University. The KLAT is a national level entrance exam for admission to the undergraduate law programs offered by KIIT School of Law.

KIIT School of Law does not accept KIITEE scores for admission to its UG law programmes. Admission to KIIT School of Law is based on the candidate's performance in the KIIT Law Aptitude Test (KLAT), a national level entrance exam conducted by KIIT University.

Q:   Does KSOL offer merit-based scholarship for BA LLB (H) course?

A: 

Yes, merit scholarships are also available at KIIT School of Law (KSOL) for its BA LLB (Hons) programme. The KIIT Merit Scholarship shall provide a monthly stipend ranging between INR 5,000 to INR 10,000 that the first position holder in each semester examination for various schools in the deemed university receives. These merit scholarships are six-month stipends.
Besides, KSOL offers the Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship, which provides absolutely free education to poor and meritorious students every year. This scholarship covers the college fees, and hostel fees which also cover mess charges, books, and any other ancillary expenses.
