Worthiness of Investment in BCom Course at Kishan Lal Public College

Considering the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Infrastructure:
    * Decent infrastructure with two big libraries and separate labs for Science and psychology
    * Average classrooms with some issues (broken windows, unclean benches)
    * No hostel facility available

    Teaching Quality:
    * Knowledgeable and supportive faculty members
    * Engaging teaching methods with logical explanations
    * Relevant curriculum with a focus on practical application

    Placement Opportunities:
    * Limited placement opportunities (around 20% of students get placed) without a dedicated placement cell
    * Students often need to seek placements independently

    Overall Worthiness of Investment:
While the college has some positive aspects, the limited placement opportunities and lack of a dedicated placement cell might be a concern for students seeking employment. Additionally, the infrastructure requires improvement.

In conclusion, whether the investment in the BCom course at Kishan Lal Public College is worth it depends on individual priorities. For students focused on gaining specialised knowledge of commerce and management, the college may still be a viable option. However, those seeking guaranteed placement opportunities might want to consider alternative institutions.

It's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully before making an informed decision.

Recommendation: Consider visiting the college, discussing your goals with the faculty, and evaluating the institution's strengths and weaknesses before investing in the program.

    * Teaching Quality: The teaching quality is considered excellent, with most faculty members being knowledgeable and helpful. Teachers engage students with logical explanations and examples.
    * Curriculum: While the curriculum has been praised for its relevance and ability to make students industry-ready, many reviewers felt that it needed updates to incorporate more practical aspects and address changing market trends.
    * Exams: Semester exams are considered moderately challenging, requiring consistent effort to achieve good grades.
    * Practical Experience: Although some reviewers mentioned a desire for more hands-on learning experiences, such as case studies or projects, others appreciated the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life scenarios through assignments and group discussions.

It is a good college to study in.
Placements: Placements are not provided in our college. Around 20% of students get placements in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not well-maintained but it is good. The library of the self-finance course is good. Canteen is not good. Park is well-maintained. Washrooms are not good.
Faculty: Teachers in the commerce department are good and knowledgeable. They help students to clear their doubts. They are well-educated and punctual.
Other: Our college should provide more placements for students and maintain good infrastructure.

It is a decent college in Rewari.
Placements: Our college doesn't have an official placement cell. Our college claims to provide job assistance to its students through various initiatives such as organising job fairs, inviting companies to campus, and providing career guidance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is decent. Our college has a well-stocked library with a collection of books related to education and other fields. It has separate labs for science and psychology with all the necessary equipment. Our college has an auditorium with a seating capacity of around 150 people for conducting seminars and other events.
Faculty: Our college has a team of experienced and qualified faculty members who provide quality education to students. They also provide the right direction to students for choosing the best career.
Other: I opted for this course because my educational background is all about commerce. Our college should include practical knowledge in this course like accounting practices. Our college offers courses like B.Com, BBA, MBA, B.Sc., M.Com, B.Ed, M.Ed, and M.Sc.

Reality of Kishan Lal Public College, Rewari, Haryana.
Placements: When it comes to placements, our college provides no placement at all. They just teach students with old teaching methods and let them struggle with their careers. No company has ever visited our campus, not even once since the college started. No one even gets an internship either.
Infrastructure: There is nothing but broken buildings and muddy classrooms with not enough light. The infrastructure is old and not impressive at all. Kishan Lal Public College doesn't have its own hostel. Anyone who wants to study at this college has to find themselves a PG.
Faculty: In KLP College, most of the teachers are not well-spoken, but their academic qualifications are good. Some of them have done their PhDs, and others have their Masters in their particular subjects. But still, they don't make their students industry-ready because none provide practical knowledge on this campus. On top of that, the theoretical knowledge is also not very good.
Other: There is usually a lot of crowds on campus where a student can make a lot of friends. No one can be left behind when it comes to the company of someone.

I am averagely satisfied with its faculty members.
Placements: Above 50% is the criterion of students who were placed in the course. There are no recruiting companies for the course. There is no tie-up with top companies. In the locality of Rewari KLP, it is the best one. Placements, internships, sports, and curriculum activities are not conducted by it.
Infrastructure: I am very satisfied with the college's infrastructure because of 2 big libraries in our college for students and various types of labs like computer lab, science lab, etc., in this college. Classrooms are not good because the windows are broken, gates are too noisy, and no regular cleaning.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful. The exam is held semester-wise. There is no placement faculty and no internship undertaken in our college. If you are interested in doing any particular course you can go for it because the college fee is not high. If we look at the fees of the college, the college provides facilities according to that. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and have good teaching qualities.
Other: Extra curriculum activities and sports are also not conducted.

My college is good for those who can't afford expensive colleges.
Placements: There is no placement facility in our college students have to do better course from outside and there is no internships are undertaken. My college only gives marksheets and degrees for the storing purpose only but they don't even provide placement to those who are the topper of that college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college was so bad when I passed out from that college no water facility for drinking purpose, water cooler are not in working condition. No facility of hostels in my college if students are from other city they have to get PG near the college.
Faculty: The teachers of my college is very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable and also their teaching qualities very good. Semester exams are so difficult becau the teacher who check the exams are doing hard or negative marking which could prove difficult for those who only wants to pass in the exams.

I am dissatisfied because the college does not provide placements.
Placements: In this college, there are zero placements based on graduation. The college does not provide any packages. In B.Com., no company offers placements. There are no internships available either. Colleges solely focus on studying. The college has not offered any additional courses. Only theoretical knowledge is provided.
Infrastructure: All courses available, such as B.Com., B.BA., BSc., etc. Departments are good. Classrooms and labs are old-fashioned, not modern. The library is excellent, providing a pleasant sitting environment, and all books are available. Hostel facilities are not available in the college. The college participates in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach each topic with quality, always assist students in studying, and encourage them to learn. The course curriculum's relevance depends on the students' skills. The semester exams are easy to pass; 37% is required to pass the semester.
Other: I want to pursue commerce, so I chose B.Com.
