Well-rounded campus experience.
Placements: 90 percent of students got placed in our batch. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package for this KIT'S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Gokulshirgaon, Kolhapur, is 4 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Atlas Copco, Wipro, TCS, DXC Technologies, etc.
Infrastructure: KIT College of Engineering Kolhapur Institute of Technology is known for its well-equipped infrastructure catering to both academic and residential needs. Here is a detailed description: Wi-Fi is available, but there is no network for phones on the college campus.
Faculty: The faculty at KIT's College of Engineering is highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring quality teaching. The curriculum is industry-relevant, blending theory with practical skills to prepare students for careers. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a good pass percentage.
Other: I chose engineering for its problem-solving and innovation opportunities. The course blends theory and hands-on learning. Events like fests and workshops enrich campus life, while diverse peers foster growth. Connectivity is good, but more scholarships and upgraded labs could improve it. Vibrant surroundings inspire creativity.

College is ecofriendly and helping students towards each student to achieve is dream college
Placements: Currently in electronics and telecommunications placement was around 80 %. Highest package around 12 LPA and lowest package 3 LPA and average package was 6 LPA. In our college top roles are applied to Circuit branches. In our college top recruiting company is ADOBE.
Infrastructure: In our college infrastructure of old hostel is so bad. For new hostel there are luxurious facilities available. There are various facility like wifi and bus facility and various scholarship that helps the poor student to take degree in minimum cost.
Faculty: In college all teachers are friendly and helpful nature towards the student and our Institute is autonomous so curriculum is designed as a industry ready. Semester exams are moderate. As I told about exam the exam is set towards the industry ready, so college is good.
Other: I chose electronics and telecommunications because I have interest in electronics. Now a days in India semiconductor industry is booming.

My Honest College review
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed. The highest package was around 41 lacs off campus and 10 lacs on campus. The average package students got was 6 lakhs and the lowest package was around 2.5 lakhs. The top recruiting companies were Tech Mahindra, TCS and many others while the percentage of students getting internship is very few as the need to apply from themselves of campus. The top roles offered in my course were development roles that such as software developer.
Infrastructure: The old college hostel is in very bad condition so is their public toilet. The toilet are unhygienic. The college mess is very bad. The new added hostel is nice as the infrastructure is good. The course is the pretty good. It is not very worth of taking admission in the college hostel.
Faculty: The semester exams are easy. We can score 8+ CGPA just by studying one week before the exam. The internal exams as easy but only if you study beforehand. The staff is average as the notes provided are sufficient for the marks scouring purpose and not sufficient for knowledge gaining and for skill development.

In short, college placement as well as campus, faculties are very good as well as supportive.
Placements: For mechanical students, their having good placement in 2024. Companies such as Atlas Copco, Tata Power, Mahindra, John Deere are partners of industrial linking with college. Their having avg. 7 LPA per student. College is very good having bright future.
Infrastructure: The campus of KIT is full of nature vibes with historical textures that feel anyone's mind full of pleasures. Central Library is full of world knowledgeable things. Every class has full access of Wi-Fi as well as having full of security under CCTV surveillance.
Faculty: The faculties of college are very supportive and have good industrial as well as technical knowledge. Most of the teachers are well qualified as well as have good teaching quality. They are also ready and encourage us for industry visits. Semester exams are of moderate levels; some papers are easy as well as moderate.

Real review of my college(KIT COLLEGE)
Placements: Around 80% students are placed in my college. Average package is 6 lakhs and lowest package is 2.5 lakhs. While highest package remained at 10 lakhs for on campus and 41 lakhs for off campus. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Bentley Systems, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini etc.
Infrastructure: The labs are well equipped, while the internet facility is worst. There is no proper wifi facility in library as well as department for personal devices. The newer hostels are good and the old one is not in a condition where one can live peacefully.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well qualified a swell as knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant as the branch is sponsored by TCS and it is industry ready course with proper development. The passing percentage is 81% and the exams are not difficult as it is an autonomous college.

Good placement but not well in faculty
Placements: Not as much good placement in Western Maharashtra as compared to other western colleges. Placement drives also college conduct but not many students got placed. Some good students get placed with well package in good companies. At last I want to share my real opinion placement is good in Western Maharashtra non-government college.
Infrastructure: Good hostel rooms but not proper cleaning in hostel. Always warden is shouting and scolding students for many reasons as many students are staying first time boarding and no one is accepting the students problem. But new hostels rooms are well maintained as compared to old hostels.
Faculty: Faculty is good as compared to other western Maharashtra non government college. Every faculty is changing irrelevantly in between the semester ongoing which lead to loss of study's of students. And in other colleges not much problems are as in kit.
Other: Not much value for money as many students don't have scholarship scheme.
