Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech. Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2024
4.2

My personal experiences with faculty members are good.
Placements: There are almost 70+ students in my section. After completing this course, the average salary is 40,000. The lowest salary is 20,000 per month. There is an internship present in the hospital also for this course. My few friends from senior batches got an internship in PIMS Hospital in Jalandhar.
Infrastructure: The hostel fee is 26,000 per year and 3,000 per month for the mess. There is a room for 4 or 3 students. Every student has different beds and study tables provided by the college. Sports and games are also available in the hostel and college. The mess food has good quality and hygiene.
Faculty: There is a semester exam every 6 months. Two MSTs in every semester and final exams of the semester. Exams are not so tough. We can easily do the exam by preparing important questions. The pass percentage is 50%. Internal is for 40 marks and external is 60 marks. You have to gain 50% marks by adding both of them at least to pass.
Other: I didn't talk so much to seniors. But when I talk to them, they always praise the teachers and college. And my personal experience with teachers is very good. They are very hardworking and intelligent. The course duration should be 2 years. 3 or 4 years is not good for this course.

Our college has excellent infrastructure.
Placements: Our college has average placements. Top recruiting companies do not visit our campus. Around 25 to 30 companies visit the college. Around 60% to 70% of students are placed. Most of the companies come from Chandigarh.
Infrastructure: Sports grounds are available for playing games. We have a basketball court, a badminton court, a hockey court, and a volleyball court at our college. Our college has four buildings.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very good. The college conducts two mid-term exams and one final semester exam. It is an excellent college for academics. When you fail any subject, the next exam is taken after 6 months.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in CSE.

LKCTC has good infrastructure and faculty. It needs to provide more industry exposure to students.
Placements: Internship opportunities start from the 5th or 6th semester. Most of companies that visited my college were based in Mohali and Chandigarh. The highest salary package offered was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The job roles offered included frontend developer, backend developer, full-stack developer, and cybersecurity. A total of 80%-85% of the students got placed.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were quite spacious and hygienic. There were programming labs, and library was filled with many books, 80% of which were related to the courses, while the rest focused on personality development. As I lived in the same city, I never opted for the hostel, but the girls' hostel had good infrastructure, and the food was okay. In terms of sports, they had a national-level girls' hockey team.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are quite good and knowledgeable. As for the theoretical part, the course can help clear up some basics, but the industry exposure was not very good. We had some industry visits, but the learning was not up to the mark for most of them. The semester exams were relatively easy to crack. If one listened to the lectures, they could easily pass the semester finals. Almost 60% of the students were able to pass semester exams.
Other: I chose Computer Science because designing (frontend development) excited me. The exposure to industries and the working structure should be provided to students more often than the theoretical part. This is something I believe could be improved in the course curriculum.

One of the best college in Jalandhar for Engineering.
Placements: In our college the percentage of placement is 80%. In our batch till now 20 students are placed, approximately 75% of them are placed as software developer. Companies like Coding block, Pepcoding, etc. have visited. At the end of day everyone needs a job.
Infrastructure: Our college is well furnished benches and alters are well maintained, students have Wi-Fi access, the Wi-Fi speed is approximately 25 megabite per second, hostels are semifurnished all needy items for a student are there, all facilities like medical, sports are there.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful to us, they are well qualified and knowledgeable, they teach good, The course curriculum is completely making students industry ready, the semester exams are conducted timely, and the pass percent of exams is around 95%.

Overall the college is good in all aspects whether in placements or in facilities .
Placements: College offers placements specially to computer science engineering students, also to other stream students. Companies always come twice or thrice in a year and recruit employees on the basis of their performance. Candidates are short listed by GD and interview rounds.
Infrastructure: There are myriad facilities available in college as well as in hostel. College have all types of facilities such as Wi-Fi libraries computers labs and many more other things.
Interestingly, college have designed labs for all streams and for all subjects .
Faculty: The teachers are really good, confident and knowledgeable too. They have bunch of knowledge about their subjects.
They even conduct special class when you have any doubt, they usually clear the doubts by presentation perform by smart classes and motivate too.
Other: I chose the college because it is really near to bus stop and affordable.

Overall good college for study.
Placements: In our college, there is a placement of big companies like IBM, RedHat, Dell, etc. The overall review is good because they teach practical knowledge and give projects for practice. So it is a good place to learn from this college with low budget fees.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very neat and clean and every room is filled with AC, labs, and Wi-Fi are also available to complete your project. The quality of food is also good in the hostel as I have listened I am not sure because I have never tasted of food quality.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. It makes the student industry ready. The exams at our college are quite difficult to attempt because it is quite hard and the pass percentage is 40.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in computers. The best things about a computer course are you will get a high package.
