BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery - Batch of 2022
4.4

It is one of the best dental colleges in Pune, Maharashtra.
Placements: Students can start their own clinic after BDS or can also opt for MS. For MS, you need to appear for NEET MS. There are various MS courses available at MARDC, such as MS orthodontics, MS oral surgery, MS endodontics, MS prosthodontics, MS periodontics and MS pedodontics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great. It has various facilities like a library, e-library, huge classrooms, various labs, dissection hall, unlimited Wi-Fi connectivity, canteens, auditorium, playground, etc. The drawback is underground basement classrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-knowledgeable, always helpful and supportive, and they are very well-qualified. It is good to learn things from them. At the end of every year, we have to appear for university exams which are held by MUHS, i.e., Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. The pass percentage is 50% which is separate for theory and practicals.
Other: Every year a lot of events are going on, and majorly the annual function is very exciting.

Great faculty, centrally located, great patient flow with good exposure.
Placements: Every passout either goes ahead for MDS, opts to open a clinic, or work for one. They are well qualified and trained during the internship program in the college itself, which is a hospital with great patient flow and exposure for students. The students are trained under the supervision of the teachers. As such, there are no placements in dental college.
Infrastructure: We do have high-speed Wi-Fi, classrooms are spacious and comfortable with 5000+ books in the library along with an e-library.
Hostel rooms are good, they could be better . They are a little smaller . There are 2 types of rooms. One with washrooms in the room and 4 people living together, and the other is a washroom outside the room with 2 people living together. There are no mess facilities in the college, but there are catering services which provide tiffins to the students. Canteens are good and affordable also in the vicinity of the hostel and college . Good exposure to sports via competitions. There is a huge ground which many matches take place.
Faculty: Excellent, well-qualified faculty. They care about the students and teachers very well. They make the students future-ready to be great dentists.
No semester, year system. We have final universe exams conducted by MUHS. Difficult examinations, but 80-90% pass.
Other: This course is a perfect blend of practical and theory, art and knowledge. The thing I love most is the practical sessions. They are very interesting and feel closer to a dream.
Maybe a more art-like auditorium would be a great feature the college could add.
Every year there are 10-15 days of fest in the college where no studying is done, only fun . There always has to be a balance between studying and fun. Along with that, any other small occasion like Teacher’s Day, Dentist’s Day, Orthodontics Day, Women’s Day, etc., are celebrated.
The campus is huge with greenery everywhere, a friendly crown. Along with that, this college is a Muslim girls’ minority college which promotes education of girls at lower prices. They also provide multiple scholarships.
During the cultural week, there are sports competitions also held, and even throughout the year, there are sports competitions to keep sports alive!
