    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Here's a summary of what current students and alumni have to say:

Infrastructure: The college has an average and conventional infrastructure, with well-maintained classrooms and libraries. However, the hostel facility is non-existent.

Teaching Quality: Professors are qualified and knowledgeable, providing helpful and supportive guidance to students. Teaching quality depends on individual teachers, but overall, the college offers high-quality education.

Placements: Placements are limited, especially for arts courses. In recent batches, only 30% of students got placed, with the highest offer being INR7 LPA and the average package standing at INR2.5 LPA. Internship opportunities are scarce, and top roles offered are mostly in economics and education.

Higher Education: A significant majority of students opt for higher education after completing their undergraduate degree.

Festivals and Extracurricular Activities: The college is famous for its festivals, such as Anubhav, and conducts regular webinars and inter-class/inter-college competitions.

Campus Life: Students enjoy a range of extracurricular activities, including sports and cultural events.

Scholarship Availability: The college offers scholarships to deserving students.

Advice: While the college may not be ideal for those seeking immediate job placements, it's a good choice for students interested in academics and personal growth. Those considering admission should weigh the pros and cons carefully and consider factors beyond mere employment prospects.

Overall, while B.A. at M.E.S. College of Arts, Science and Commerce may not be perfect, it can still be a worthwhile investment for students who prioritize academic excellence, personal growth, and a fulfilling college experience.

Review of M.E.S. College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: There were not that many students who were placed in my course. These placements are mainly for B.Com. students. What I want to say is that if you are looking for placements, then this college is not for you; hence, choose your decision to opt for this college. There are several companies that come to this college, but they see which course you have opted for, so if you are in an arts course, there is not much interest. Choose your college wisely.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, with well-maintained toilets. And also with the canteen, which serves fewer dishes when compared to other colleges, The library has a number of books, but its holdings will be upgraded with time. There are not that many books relevant to our course, but one can find the oldest books too. There are no hostels. And the food available in the canteen is okay; I can say it's edible. There is also Wi-Fi and labs for science students.
Faculty: As they say, it all depends on us. The teachers do their work and finish their portions correctly, and exams come, which means a lot of study holidays. The teaching quality depends upon the teachers; some of them are very knowledgeable, but some are poor in communication skills, so it all depends upon the individual teacher, but there are also some good-reputed teachers who I look up to till today.
Other: MS is famous for its fests; hence, many fests are conducted. I chose this college due to its fests being conducted, as well as for the scholarship availability and the fact that students are active with regard to their needs.

Review of M.E.S. College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: The placements are provided to students with above 7.5 CGPA. The lecturers are very good to teach. There were no placements for our batch. We hope the college will provide placements soon.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in our college, but the canteen food is very good and tasty. Sports in MS are very good, and the physical education teacher guides us and treats us well. Many indoor games like chess, Ludo and carroms are available.
Faculty: As of now, the new education policy has come, so it is very tough for students who are studying now. But it was quite easy for us, and the lecturers are very talented. They taught us well and made us learn more effectively. I recommend everyone to join this college.
Other: I chose B.A. in political science to study for UPSC. The best thing is in UPSC, political science is the base for main exams. To improve the course, I wish the teachers should take more classes. A fest named Anubhav is held once a year, and it is grandly celebrated.

The professors at the college were good.
Placements: In our batch, only 30% of students were placed. The highest offered package was 7 LPA, while the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average package stood at 2.5 LPA. Around 60–70% of students secured internships in the last year of college. The top roles offered in my course were in economics and education. A majority of students opt for higher education.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure was average and conventional. Classrooms were well-maintained, and the library and labs had all the necessary resources. The food in the college canteen was moderate. The college provides facilities like volleyball and basketball courts, as well as hostel accommodations.
Faculty: The professors in our college were qualified and knowledgeable, providing helpful and supportive guidance to the students. Teachers offered high-quality education, and the college exams were not excessively challenging, requiring a minimum of 33% marks for passing.

This college life is excellent for students.
Placements: The average salary ranges from Rs 15,000 - Rs 20,000 per month. There are no companies that visit for placements. The recruitment will be mainly based on the talent, skills, and marks of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It provides laboratories for students. It also has classrooms and a library. But the college building is very old. There is a separate building for the library.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and friendly. They provide an excellent education for the students. Semester exams are very easy. The passing percentage is only 35%.
Other: This college is famous for the fest. It will have weekly webinars, and fests, for inter-class and inter-college also.

    The Evergreen Journey in MES.
Placements: MS has one of the best campus placement facilities as it's one of the oldest and reputed college which has created it's brand among the corporate companies. Many top companies like EY, Northern Trust, TCS, IBM, Infosys conduct campus interview. Apart from the top companies there are many other opportunities which provide a GATE way to enter Banking profession. (Coaching for IBPS exam). The average pay scale ranges between 2L to 3L Per annum. Most of the job titles would be of the entry level like Audit Associate, Accounting Staff etc. College helps the students to face the interview confidently by conducting Mock interviews which helps in boosting the confidences among the students.
Infrastructure: In terms of the infrastructure the college has a continuous year on year improvement as it has funding from the government too. Computer Lab is accessible any time during the college hours. There would be newspapers and magazines available everyday which would be helpful if there is any let off classes. Canteen has a gradual improvement over the past few years and has very good canteen personnel who would be very friendly. Apart from the normal course curriculum, students also get a chance to get involved in NCC and NSS teams.
Faculty: The best part of the college is the experienced teachers who provide you real life case scenario rather than just the text book knowledge. This helps in correlating the subjects to the implementation part. The assignments and the project work provided would also be practical in nature than just book work. ( Ex : Our final year Income Tax assignment was to submit the PAN card copy) This ensured that everyone has PAN Card, which is one of the most important documents to get a job.
Other: The specialisation available for B.Com students is Accounting and Finance. Apart from that there are many intercollage fest which are conducted in the college campus. ( Chakrayuv and Parivartan). These FEAT are a great experience as you would get to see the students from many colleges.

MS college is the trusted institution.
Placements: I am still studying, so I don't know about the placements. But, our seniors got selected, and they really liked it. The seniors say that it was very difficult to pass their rounds. Some of them have chosen for different categories as their personal favourite jobs. Even the payments are given in different categories.
Infrastructure: The college was established 60 years ago. The college is built of stone. The building has 4 floors, and there is also a PU block inside the main college. There are laboratories for different departments. The college has a sports room, auditorium, quadrangle, different departments, and a canteen.
Faculty: The lecturers are very good. They really teach well. There is a compulsory core paper where we learn about different subjects every semester. Other courses offered are B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. In B.A., other courses are psychology, journalism, optional English, sociology, economics and history. Other courses also have different subjects.
Other: Every year, there will be a blood donation camp, different fests for different branches. There are the fests like B.A. fest, B.Com fest, and B.Sc. fest. There are NCC and cricket club in the college.
