I'm satisfied with my college. The teachers are great but more practical exposure needed.

Placements: Ramaiah College does not have good placements for B.A. students but few of them get placed according to their knowledge but with a low package which is 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. They also provide placement opportunities on the basis of graduate degree not giving importance to specialisation also very few students are placed through this.

Faculty members here are encouraging and supportive.

Placements: Placements are always conducted here. Various companies also visited here, but they usually interviewed BA students for namesake. They mainly hired B.Com, B.Sc and BBA students. After graduation, I got a job as a sub-editor in a market research firm.

A good college for pursuing psychology but not for journalism.

Placements: The placements are not that good, they are trying to work on it. Internship opportunities are provided by the faculty members (they refer organizations). They support students by giving them attendance for their internship reports. We get to work as reporters in newspaper organizations.

It is a good college, but I am not satisfied with teaching.

Placements: Maybe 40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro and Infosys. The salary package offered in our course is 5 LPA. Less than 10% of the students got internships, and internships are not offered in our college.

I am absolutely satisfied to be a student of such a prestigious college.

Placements: The main thing is the big 4 companies like KPMG visit for campus recruitment. There is almost 95% recruitment rate in this college. This is also one of the top business schools in India. Moreover, one who gets the seat is highly privileged and lucky to be studying there.

Proud to be an alumnus of this college.

Placements: The college provides excellent placements. During my final year companies like Ernst and Young, Amazon had approached our campus and given placements to many students with good packages ranging from 1.2 lakhs per annum to 3.2 lakhs per annum. The placement cell was also very helpful and prepared the students on-campus as well as off-campus selection.

I'm satisfied with our college.

Placements: I'm in second-year. Placements commence in the third year, so I didn't experience it. However, I have huge expectations from the placement cell. I had even heard from the alumni and also saw them getting placed in MNCs with the expected salary packages.

A great place for anyone who thinks big.

Placements: Our college had provided a lot of placement opportunities. Even I got the chance to present my academic project at the National Centre of Biological Sciences (NCBS), Bengaluru. Top companies like Wipro, HP, Dell, Biocon, and Beckman Coulter, etc., visited our college for placements drive. The placement cell here was well-established, and the members pro-actively inform the students and faculty members about the upcoming placements.

The college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Only the top 10 students out of 200 students are sent into the placement office rather giving every student an opportunity. Only some students in those 10 get selected. Students with a good score in their academics are given more importance than their convincing talents, communication skills, profitable ideas etc. The skilled students are not encouraged in college.

Good infrastructure, nice campus, and adjacent hostels for students.

Placements: The placements in our college were quite okay, as not many companies visited the college. The average CTC offered was quite low. Most of the students did not sit for interviews, and attendance in the placement days was relatively lower than other days. We expect more companies to come to the campus in future.

I am cent percent satisfied with all the facilities provided by the college.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. Most of the students got placed in many big companies like Delhi Amazon, Flipkart, Simmons, JP Morgan, etc. The students were placed for secretary and other levels of professional level posts with good income for the students without any experience. The campus interview will be conducted every year for the final year students as almost everyone will be placed in good companies.
