Overall, a great college for pursuing MBBS with great faculty and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are not a thing in medical colleges, as hospitals do not come to colleges for hiring. People after completing MBBS either prepare for the PG exam and ho for the PG course or they can apply for any government or private jobs. So placements are not done here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good; they have a really good library (digital library, scientific journal area, UG and PG areas, etc. ), a good cafeteria, labs are well-equipped, a museum for specimens and a yoga area also. Hostel by Infrastructure is also good and now a new hostel has been made for new batches. The mess is not so good; it has a gym, a TV room and a barbershop also.
Faculty: Faculty is the highlight of this college, as they are all really helpful, teach well, and are all qualified and knowledgeable. They follow the official CBME curriculum provided by the NMC, which focuses more on practical areas so yes, it is relevant and makes students job-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult and the passing percentage is around 90-95%.
Other: Mess can be improved and they have only 1 fest a year and celebrate hardly 1-2 festivals (needs to focus here); otherwise, most things are good here.

MS Ramaiah Medical College review
Placements: Medical colleges do not offer placements, but all doctors do find a job after MBBS due to the medical situation in the country. However, most of them opt for further studies. The average package after MBBS is about 70,000 in a hospital for the role of junior doctor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great. There is free Wi-Fi in the college premises and the hostel. The lecture halls are well built, and the campus offers food stalls for a quick bite. Also, the campus is located on New Bel Road, where there are multiple food outlets and restaurants.
Faculty: The faculty is good; most of the professors are approachable and willing to help. The curriculum is as per NMC, so there is nothing for the college to decide per se. The internals are of moderate difficulty and help to prepare for the final university exams.
Other: The college does not conduct fests for our course, so that's a disadvantage.

Mbbs at MS Ramaiah medical College, Bengaluru
Placements: Our college is one of the reputed college cross country. After graduating you get a job of junior resident for which salary ranges around 50k to 1lakh per month depending on hospital. But people usually prefer doing pg after MBBS, so placement is usually after completing md course.
Infrastructure: College is very nice, with a very pretty campus having lush green gardens. There is a separate sports arena, lab facility, central library and full time wifi facility is available in hostel as well as college. Mess is there in hostel that provides cheap and nutritious meal.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, helpful and they pay attention to every student. They promote holistic learning of concepts. Very friendly, easy to approach staff. We do have end semester internals and year end proofs. Pass percentage and performance is good in comparison to other colleges.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to serve humanity and this seemed to me the best way of executing that. Intercollege and intra college fests are conducted regularly.

Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) - Batch of 2024

Review of MS Ramaiah College of Physiotherapy .
Placements: Placements are good. Good exposure to clinical practice since we start with the postings as early as in the second year itself. The internship is a lot is exposure after the final year. It is for 6 months in the college hospital and memorial hospital so we get to work on a lot of patients. Talking about the starting salary, it is generally 15k–20k per month after BPT and after Masters MPT, it is usually 30k or above, depending on the field you have chosen. You can also do a lot of other courses apart from MPT for example, an MBA hospital management, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a beautiful campus with great infrastructure, including a library, Wi-Fi, labs and well-equipped classrooms. Hostels, too, are good. The canteen is pretty good and there are a lot of opportunities for sports and games. And of course, the city of Bangalore will make you fall in love with it.
Faculty: The quality of staff is good. Teachers are all well qualified, highly knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to doubt clearing or even personal issues. The course curriculum is 100% relevant and does make the students industry-ready. We have yearly exams and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I personally have chosen this course since there are a lot of wide opportunities and scope for physiotherapy in the future, as it is needed in every field, be it rehab, chest medicine, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports or a lot of regular physical problems. I am glad that I chose MS Ramaiah for physiotherapy, as it is one of the top 10 colleges in India and yes, Bangalore is a city that will make you fall in love with it.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - Batch of 2023

Really good infrastructure and the best for internship.
Placements: We do not have any kind of placements in our MBBS course. As I told you, there were no placements, so we don't have any package. In our course, almost all students did internships in our college's nearby hospital. The top roles for our course were definitely doctors.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was amazing with all facilities. Our department classrooms were fully furnished with comfortable seats. The library and labs were also equipped with books and equipment. Hostel rooms were also neat and clean. The quality of food in the mess or canteen has a good taste and is also healthy.
Faculty: Our college faculty has good experience in their field and they were helpful and qualified. The teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum was relevant. It makes us ready for the industry. Semester exams were a little bit moderate. The passing percentage was about 80%.

MS Ramaiah Medical College Review
Placements: MBBS colleges do not offer placements, but if you wish to get a job directly after the degree, you will easily manage to find a job with a package of about 80,000 per month as a junior doctor in a government hospital. Usually, most graduates go for post-graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well developed. The library is well equipped, and you can find all the books required for the course, as well as journals for some extra knowledge. There is a sports complex too, where you can play cricket, basketball, etc.; however, there is no swimming pool.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and approachable. The curriculum is very relevant for practical experience. The teachers teach via PowerPoint presentations. The exams are of moderate difficulty. In practicals, the professors support us and make sure that people pass.
Other: I chose MBBS because it is a good profession. I would like to change one thing, and that is writing files and log books because they are of no relevance and use. Events are very few for MBBS students. There are only intra-college fests, but you can participate in other colleges' competitions and fests, though.

Probably, it is possible but we can't say anything without counselling. MS Ramaiah Medical College for MBBS is a very good college of Bangalore and I don't think your friend can get admission in this college because his NEET marks are not so good to get admission in this college.
