MIET, Bhubaneswar is located at Pitapalli.
Placements: I got placement in an IT consulting company but refused to join in Bhubaneswar. They offered me a salary package of 1.9 LPA during training for 6 months, post that confirmation, the company was liable to pay 2.5 LPA. I was looking to work in Bangalore. They have offered the profile as an associate software engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush green spreading over 120 acres of campus. The infrastructure gives a breathtaking experience once we enter into college premises. The campus has a library, laboratory, computer room and tools lab. Different labs are available for each department. Sessions were really interactive. The cafeteria was awesome, and you can food whenever you are hungry. The playground was good.
Faculty: Teachers were highly responsive and intellectual to resolve any query of students. Most of the teachers were highly qualified and knowledgeable who made the subjects easy for us to learn.
Other: In fact, all the students wait for tech fest and annual celebration. They invite big stardom entertainers from the Bollywood industry for the annual day. We used to celebrate Teacher's Day like nowhere in the world, where complete liberty was given to students to let teachers realise what is their value.

Do not enrol in Mahavir Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: There is no placement offered, and the one who came was fake and asked for money. The environment in the college is not good. Not a great place to satisfy and spend your 4 years of college life. There is too much of politics and corruption. There is no schedule, and everything works as and when teachers wish to. Too much of students strikes are happening in university which hampers studies. Management is biased, uncultured and abuse girls especially very rude. The girls are not respected, and the place is not secure for them as well. I will never recommend anyone to enrol at this college.
Infrastructure: All broken chairs and tables are there in the college. There is no lab which is well-equipped. The building does not even have proper clean toilets and drinking water supply. There is no proper canteen for students also the building has seepage issues. It rains inside the building even its sunny outside. The stairways are unrailed and full of water which makes it slippery and dangerous to walk on. There are marks of spots all over the walls.
Faculty: The faculty is not well-versed and neither interested in making you the same. Teachers will give you marks if you are of their caste and creed, and do favours to them personally or professionally. There are no exact lab sessions which are held after 1st semester. Everything in the college is adjusted internally with cash or kind. We did not get industrial exposure internship also had to be managed by ourselves.
Other: The campus is located in a faraway location and is not well connected to the city, where it gets really difficult to get to Bhubaneswar, in case if any emergency, there is no public transportation available. A college fest used to happen where it was a chance for the local fellows to tease and pass comments to juniors and girls. No scholarship is provided. The campus crowd is hardly there in the college, as people don't have food available as there is a canteen which opens hardly.

Our college is a good place, where a royal branch is there as biomedical which is more demanding.
Placements: Various companies are coming to the college for placement, but it depends on you, how you choose and handle the job for your career. I am a biomedical pass out student, and now I am doing my career in the hospital. Also, all my classmates got placement immediately after the completion of the course.
Infrastructure: The college is situated at Bhubaneswar. It has various departments. The college faculty members are also too good. It has a big library, and a large hall is available to the study. All the books are available related to the courses. Also, you can take the books to your home for referring. It has a big field for sports and also avails all the games during the annual sports.
Faculty: The teachers are too good and very helpful to the students and friendly. The teaching quality is good as teachers are friendly as for that you can easily ask questions without feeling fear. The teaching method is too good, and we have a seminar room also where the projector is fixed which is very useful during the seminar.

It is cheap, beautiful and strong. Either love it or hate it.
Placements: The placement was average. I had been to a campus drive and got selected, though I did not go for that job as it was offering lower package. It brings placements which lags in providing a good package. Still, if you give a try, it might help you for a short term. The placements can be rated as 5 out of 10.
Infrastructure: As per BPUT standards, it has a good infrastructure. You will love the infrastructure for sure if you are willing to come here as a mediocre. The one thing that lags mostly is that it has no outdoor activity setup. Apart from the cricket ground, it has no basketball court or a football field. The infrastructure can be rated as 6 out of 10.
Faculty: It follows BPUT course curriculum. So, I can’t comment on this. But if I tell regarding the faculty, I am sure you will love some of them who has the best knowledge and follow a good teaching procedure. 20% of the faculty knows the process to treat the students in the best way so that one can remember him for years. One faculty whom I still love and respect is Mr Satya sir. The faculty can be rated as 5 out of 10.

Typical Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Engineering college. Average clg for average students.
Placements: There are no placements for any of the batches. Not only for my batch, but for all batches in all the streams, there are no campus placements at all. There were not even BPO interviews conducted, instead they asked money to get companies to conduct interviews. Any students who wants to join this college for placement, please forget about it, as it doesn't have any placement drives at all.
Infrastructure: Speaking frankly, the infrastructure is OK. It is typical engineering college as in AP and Telangana, the classrooms are nice, library is good and sports and games are nothing in this college whereas laboratories are so bad, there is nothing here in this college.
Faculty: To me the faculty was OK. But the students in my college were light, they won't even listen to any classes at all. I don't want to blame my college alone for the faculty, but it is our responsibility too to respond to the activities which are held in college premises. The students won't even respond to it at all and then think that lecturer will do some magic and we will pass in the exam, huh.

Other: MIET College is good but it's management is bad and worst, so student be care full before admission. Only fraud people are there so before taking admission do lot of queries about everything you want to know. After some year this college will be close due to lack of student.
