Here's a summary of what current and former students have said about their experience pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree at Mahishadal Raj College:
* Teaching Quality: Some students found the teachers to be helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced, while others felt that not all teachers were approachable or knowledgeable.
* Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, with advanced labs, free Wi-Fi, and a decent library. However, some students mentioned that the classroom condition was average and lacked amenities like air conditioning.
* Placement: Unfortunately, the college does not offer placement services, and most students do not receive direct job offers after graduation. A few students managed to secure internships or higher studies through their own efforts.
* Course Curriculum: Students felt that the course curriculum did not prepare them adequately for industry requirements.
* Campus Life: Festivals, seminars, and cultural events are organized occasionally, and the campus has facilities like a gymnasium, playground, and indoor games.

It is a good college with good faculty members.
Placements: About 80% of students are placed from this college. Rs. 50000 per month is the highest salary, and Rs. 15,000 per month is the lowest salary offered. Top schools hired students here. Almost 90% of students got internships from this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Labs are advanced and in good condition. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus. The condition of classrooms is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly educated, and knowledgeable. Teachers thoroughly explain the topics. They are Ph.D. holders. They are friendly. Semester exams are very difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in physics. After this course, I can apply for government jobs. Every year, there is a festival and a cricket tournament. All students participate in the fest and other cultural programs.

This is very good college.
Placements: About 40% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Tata is the top recruiting company. Around 40% of students got internships at Tata. Roles offered are data analysis manager, supervisor, and bank manager.
Infrastructure: We have good classrooms, a library, and good labs. The hostel is very good. It's quite huge, and the rooms are very clean. The food quality is good. There are medical facilities. There is a swimming pool. Sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality is very good. Our course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. It all depends on how you study the subject. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I am quite good at math, so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that it is very easy.

My college life has not been good but memorable.
Placements: Students didn't get placed in our department. The college doesn't provide any placements. It was a very bad experience. The college didn't take any step to propose companies. We requested the management many times, but they didn't care about it. Placements should be provided.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good, but the infrastructure is average. There is no Wi-Fi, but smart and digital classrooms and libraries are available. Almost all facilities are available in our college hostels. The food quality is good. Medical facilities are available when needed. All types of indoor and outdoor games are available for students.
Faculty: The teachers are sometimes helpful to us, not always. They are knowledgeable and qualified, and their teaching skills are good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are average, and the passing percentage is 30%.
Other: I have loved physiology since my childhood. That's why I chose it. The best thing is the anatomy part. The behaviour of teachers and campus placements should be improved. Events are held sometimes. There is an annual college fest. The campus crowd is 4,000. Extracurricular activities are conducted.

For UG students, this college is not very bad, but for an M.Sc degree, I will not recommend it.
Placements: There is no department regarding placements of students in our college. This college is affiliated with Vidhyasagar University. Companies don't visit our college to hire students for jobs. So, none of the students directly get jobs after passing their B.Sc/BA or even M.Sc/MA. Only they can get a degree from college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not very good or not very bad here. But sometimes students of B.Sc in physics have to adjust with classrooms with students of master degree due to lack of classrooms. Classrooms do not have air-conditioning facilities, and only fans can help you in summer. There is a free Wi-Fi facility. Through one mobile number, you will get only 1 GB per day. Libraries are good. But you will not get all books, and you will get a minimum of one book on a topic of your subject. The books have to be returned within 3 months. There is no ground for playing outdoor sports, but indoor games like carrom and tennis are available in the leisure room. Lab facilities are average. You have to form a group with your classmates for a practical class due to a lack of instruments. One instrument is available for two-three students and even for more students sometimes. For medical facilities, there is Basulia Rural Hospital near the college. Our college does not have a department for this purpose. My home is near the college, so I don't stay in the college hostel, but from my friends, I heard that the boys' hostel is not bad. Girls hostel is far from the college and boys hostel. But I don't know about the condition of the girls' hostel.
Faculty: Not all the teachers are helpful or knowledgeable here, but some teachers are really very helpful. But nowadays, there is a lack of permanent professors. Most of the professors are guest professors. M.Sc is available in the college, but professors of other colleges are hired.
Other: Fests, annual function, freshers welcome function, Saraswati Puja, Independence Day celebrations, etc., are held in the college. Scholarships like Kanyashree scholarship, etc., are also available in the college.

I am dissatisfied, and the professors aren't helpful.
Placements: It is a rural area's college, and all students are academically below average and studying only general courses. There aren't any placement facilities. Only 5-10 students are getting an internship on their own hard work. Maximum science students are getting teachership, which is an average of 60%.
Infrastructure: All rooms are good, equipped and student-friendly. High-speed Wi-Fi service is available, but you can use only 1 GB per day. Unlimited Wi-Fi is still not available. All labs have enough facilities, but they are very dirty and unhygienic. Even chemistry labs haven't any proper safety features. There is a library which is very helpful for students, and there is also an attached study room. Lab charge is very minimal, which is only Rs. 100 per year. Only one canteen is available, and all food items are high priced and unhygienic. Hostel facility is available only for a limited quantity of students, which is 40-50 students. Medical facilities are still not available, and only a first-aid facility is available. Outdoor games aren't possible here because of the shortest area. Indoor games are available like table tennis, carrom, etc.
Faculty: Teachers aren't helpful, and they are very rude. They only know how to misbehave with students. They are qualified, but they are very unproductive. For not taking classes, they have already lost their quality. They give lab facilities only on exam days, and they are very supportive on lab days.
Other: I have chosen this course to become a math teacher. There are huge demands of math teachers. Now, we are going through the CBCS system, so we need proper guidelines on it, which are currently not available. There are enough college events like freshers welcome, teachers day, seminars and annual functions. If you only want a degree and not quality, then you can opt for it. The detrimental fest happens frequently.

I love this college and course because it is a near by my house.
Placements: 70% of students placed in well-known home universities such as Calcutta University, Vidyasagar University, NBU etc. There are 50 % of students got an internship in well known universities and colleges.
Infrastructure: Our college have all facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a library. There are huge data connections for our using Wi-Fi. For all lab-based subjects have average labs like Chemistry nutrition, geography, mathematics etc. We have 300 classrooms. Besides our college, there are many sweet shops, medical shops, sports shops near the bus stand. You also get facilities of mess and canteen if you are not interested in the hostel.
Faculty: Our department has 10 teachers and they are all helpful. For growing our knowledge, they help us. The course is relevant. Our college and course, not a technical college at this level, no students are not going into the industry.
Other: When I was in high school I love mathematics too much so I chose the mathematics course. I wish the course is much better for next year. Our college has two annual events in one year. A department fest is always organized in a year. Our students get all facilities in scholarships.
