    It is a well-known college.
Placements: Around 60% to 70% of students get placements every year. The minimum salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Aaj Tak, ABP News, Navbharat Times, Times of India, BBC, etc. Around 80-90% of students get paid and non-paid internships in their 2nd and 3rd semesters. Top roles offered are video editor, anchor, news reporter, etc.
Infrastructure: Our campus is spread over 50-55 acres. It consists of hostels for both girls and boys with Wi-Fi facilities, a hospital, a bank, etc. All the departments have their libraries and a central library. All the departments have smart classrooms and labs with Wi-Fi facilities.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are well qualified. Their teaching skills are very good and understandable. Semester exams are not hard, and all the students who study well and attend classes will score good marks.
Other: I chose this course to face the camera. I suggest a particular video editing course for it. Every year, students organise college fests and many functions.

I am dissatisfied and advice not to take admission here if you don't want to spoil your future.
Placements: If you want to be a journalist then you must apply online and go for interview because college doesn't provide placement, only few companies will come to college and they offer 1.5 lpa package. The highest package was 2.4 lpa and the lowest was 1.2 lpa. India News and Amar Ujala were the only companies to come. Almost 30-40% students got internship from different companies like Zee, Samachar plus and Amar Ujala. u2022 Content writing, Proofreading, Input desk jobs are offered initially.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but non AC, library is fine, there is no any Wi-Fi for free use, to use computer you have to connect own hotspot. Labs are with less equipment and only moderate facilities. Boys hostel was fine but food quality was very bad, too oily and non healthy food. Sports and games are done once a year named 'pratibha'.
Faculty: Our professor's were quite good, some were very well educated and professional but college course doesn't makes us industry ready, you have to do internships for that, College course is much more theoretical than practical Semester exams are not that hard if you go through the syllabus you can easily clear with first devision.

It is a good university to study journalism and mass communication.
Placements: Roles offered to the students are journalist, reporter, editor, TV or news production, radio, magazine, etc. Placements are average. There are 4 to 5 media houses like ABP, ETV, Zee News, Webduniya, which come for placements. The average salary package offered is nearly 4 LPA. You have all the permission to do an internship as much as you want.
Infrastructure: Food is good in the hostel. It is newly made, so it is a good and clean building. The new hostel is on the campus premises, so you don't need to worry about the travel. The campus is on the outskirts of Bhopal, so it is a bit hassle to go to the city daily. Otherwise, it is great.
Faculty: The course is recently reviewed by the committee. The course allows you to explore yourself, and it is also interesting. You can have fun while studying the syllabus. I studied around 20 subjects in my bachelor's, and I find it quite interesting because it gives a whole new perspective to learn and to know about things. Staff members are supportive.
Other: An event named Pratibha takes place annually, and it is a kind of festival for the university. Our university allows you to take part in every aspect, whether on the campus or inter universities.

Not satisfied with the teaching. But environment and practical knowledge given are awesome.
Placements: Placements are not that reliable in this university. Only 10% of students were placed through campus. Mainly, students find jobs on their own. The highest package offered was 3,60,000. The lowest was 1,80,000. Average package of placement was 2,40,000. Zee news was top recruiting company. Almost every student got internship. Almost every media house had given internships to students. We got offers of Reporting, Anchoring and even Copywriting.
Infrastructure: The facilities were actually very good. There are 8 departments in the university. Every department has its own labs, Library, big classrooms and wi-fi. The main library of university is huge. There isn't any boys hostel. In girls hostel, food was not that great. Canteen is pretty good though. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games culture is also very rich in the university.
Faculty: Being a government university, teaching is not that great. But professors were really helpful and friendly. Even VC communicate with students directly and help them in career and course. Teaching quality was average. Some professors were really very bad. Curriculum was good. As classroom teaching was very limited, students mostly gained practical knowledge on their own. Internships did made students ready for Industry. And university always helped in finding them.
Other: I chose mass communication because I wanted to be a journalist as well as a scriptwriter. The best thing about the course is that it provides you an environment in which you can really grow as a person and also as a professional. I wish that the university had given more importance to classroom teaching as well. Events are perfect in the university. You always meet industry celebrities. University regularly organizes superb events. Pratibha fest is organized by the university in which almost every competition (including every sport) event takes place. Campus surrounding is perfect as it is located in the center of the office of leading media houses. Students get good scholarships from time to time. Scope for Extracurricular activities is also just perfect in university.

It is a decent university. The college placement cell can do better.
Placements: Mostly 10% of students got placed since most of the students opted for higher studies. The highest salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month in 2013, and the average salary offered was Rs 12,000 per month. ABP News and ETV Hyderabad were the top recruiters. Nearly 40% of the students got an internship in publications like The Hindustan Times, The Hitavada, Navbharat Times and Dainik Bhaskar.
Infrastructure: There are decent classrooms with a simple desk and chair for every student. There is a library which is among the best of the university. The library is easily accessible, and it has an enormous collection of books, especially concerned about the topic of communication and Hindi literature.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, although some could do well with more qualification. The course curriculum was more theory-based, although faculty taught about editing and working with cameras. The course would benefit more the students to aim for an academic career. Students who want to be journalists must do internships during the duration of the course.
Other: I chose mass communication because it is a helpful course for all things of media. I wanted to sift through the choices the field offered and determine which is suitable for me. I wish the course is more practical with inputs from working journalists. The university conducts regular extracurricular activities and events like sports and culturals, which is enough for students to showcase their talents. The university also tries to connect with its alumni, although it could do a lot more on that front for the benefit of the current students.

A-Z education is fourth pillar of our country.
Placements: 20 per cent of students get placed every year. Salary differs from one news channel to another. ABP News, etv, tv9 bhartvarsh etc. The internship is offered to each and every student. The package may differ. Package starts from 1 Lacs per annum to approximately 4 to 5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There is a studio and newsrooms are getting developed. And new facilities can be seen on the new university campus. There is only girls hostel available till now but from next year new campus for boys and girls hostel, both will be available. Hostel food quality is okay But present campus canteen quality is not very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is okay but as many internships a student complete in his or her bachelors he or she will become ready for the industry. So it's my advice for the upcoming students to try to do as many internships as he can in different media.
Other: Its a professional course and media is something which attracts me always as a career choice, that's why I Chose this course. The best thing about mass communication is that you are not getting prepared for only one type of media but you have a choice of entering in any media as per your choice.
