Malda College is a below average college in my opinion.
Placements: So basically, Malda College is a degree college; this college doesn't provide any type of placement or internship programme. If you only go for a degree, then opt for this college; otherwise, don't go for it; this college is only for a degree. Our seniors are also jobless.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is poor and old; some departments are well organized, like CS, Physics and Chemistry; and this college has 4 college hostels, 3 for boys and 1 for girls, but the food provided to the students is very poor. And a very small college canteen is at the college.
Faculty: College teachers are very well educated, but they are very rude and put pressure on students, like making them come to college daily, cutting their marks internally, etc.; semester exams are held from time to time. The exams are very tough; many students get back in every semester.
Other: Some things in this college are good, like every year this college organizes a college fest, a big playground is attached to this college and many sports events are organized every year.

It is an excellent college for studying.
Placements: Our college provided us with a placement cell and different kinds of programs for the activeness of students regarding placements. Several organisations came to our college to hold programs and provide placements. Our college provided a placement desk, from which students got help.
Infrastructure: The college had excellent facilities. Wi-Fi was available for all students. There were different labs available. Our classrooms were highly maintained. The library was available for all students. There was a separate hostel for boys and girls.
Faculty: Our college had highly qualified teachers. They were always helpful to students. They taught us very carefully. If any students had any questions, they were answered politely. They were very good. They conducted a doubt-solving session. The semester exams were very easy.

    Malda college review by 2024.
Placements: This college is for honors students, so there is no placement system in place. It is not an engineering college that would provide placements. From this college, you can earn degrees like B.Sc. and B.A., after which you can opt for higher studies or prepare for different competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and meets the necessary requirements. The college has different classrooms for each department and also has various labs for practical classes. There is a library where students can access their desired books, along with a study room. As a day scholar, I don't have information about the hostel facilities.
Faculty: The teachers for science subjects have a lot of experience, and the course curriculum is relevant but could use some improvement. The teachers are very helpful with students. Class tests are conducted every month, along with one final semester exam. If someone follows the classes, they can easily qualify.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, Ph.D. qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is the best. Some new teachers have joined our college. Semester exams and internal exams are difficult.

Our college has strong alumni network and clean and calm campus.
Placements: Placements are rare in our college because most students go for higher studies. Around 60% of students from our batch get placed. Some minor companies like Jio, Wipro, etc., visit our college to offer technician roles. The average salary package offered is 1.4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has 5 well-equipped labs and 5 classrooms for lectures. Wi-Fi is available in every corner of the department and college. There are 2 classrooms equipped with projectors that are well-maintained. We have an electronics lab, a computational physics lab, a dark room for optics lab, and a general lab. Our department has a departmental library with more than 10,000 books. There is a central library for the whole college. Our college has 4 hostels, 3 for boys, and 1 for girls. Hostels are not well-maintained.
Faculty: Our department has 8 faculty members who are helpful and well-educated with Ph.D. The quality of education is very high. Every professor is down to earth and listens to students carefully. They solve any academic and personal problems. The course curriculum is relevant and recently updated with the CBCS structure. The new upgradation helps us to take electives on our own. Class tests are conducted weekly. Semester examinations are moderate if students study well. Students have to go to other colleges for the semester examinations.
Other: The course is very fundamental but needs more elective options. All state government scholarships are provided. They provide free education scholarships for poor students. A new science building is under construction. The campus is very good with open ground for all kinds of sports. Every department organises a cultural program every month. Our college organises the biggest annual festival.
