Excellent placements, good college life, decent professors, great sports, and mess facilities.
Placements: On-campus placements are excellent in MANIT Bhopal, with major companies from both tech and core fields visiting here, which include SAIL, JSW, BHEL, TATA Steel, Juspay, and Indian Oil, offering handsome salary packages. Having an 88% placement rate, many students also get internships. As per the 2023-24 placement brochure, the average package of MME stood at 9.73 LPA, while the highest package is 24 LPA and the median package is 9.25 LPA. The top roles include software developers, management trainees in top PSUs, and scientists in government institutions like BIS.
Infrastructure: MANIT has a Wi-Fi campus and the hostels are equipped with LAN ports for internet access. Classrooms don't have ACs; they have fans, projectors, and whiteboards for teaching. The library is open from Sunday to Friday until 9 PM on normal days and is closed on Sundays. During exams, they are open until 12 midnight. The library has sufficient books to clear exams. Our college has a dispensary and excellent ambulance facilities. The sports complex of MANIT is huge, with all the necessary facilities to play cricket, badminton, basketball, table tennis, and gym, etc. The mess is good and there are washing machines in the hostels.
Faculty: The faculty in MANIT are well qualified, having studied at IITs and other top colleges, but some are strict about attendance. Frequent industrial visits, workshops, and seminars are organized by the college to provide industrial exposure. The institution exams are easy to pass, and you just need to study with a little sincerity; even studying a week before exams is sufficient. Most of the students pass.
Other: My Department, MME, has a strength of 78 students and 9 professors teaching material science and metallurgy. This course is more research-oriented and in demand in foreign countries after M.Tech or MS, but sadly not in India. Our college hosts Central India's largest technical fest, Technsearch, to empower entrepreneurship, along with the E-summit and techno-cultural Maffick. The campus is quite lovely, as like-minded people come together to learn, innovate, and develop. Our college has one of the best sports teams in inter-NITs. It is connected by railway via Rani Kamlapati and Bhopal Junction (8 KM), while Raja Bhoj Airport is 15 KM away.

Review of MANIT - Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placements are good, on par with most other NITs. The highest package goes above 80 LPA, and overall, the average stood above 15 LPA. Electrical also sees the highest package of around 52 LPA. CSE average package being above 22 lacs. So this is definitely a great college placement-wise. And yes, for electrical, you can get free time to learn skills as well.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well built and equipped, but they lack air conditioning. Well, that would be a big problem in summer. The rest of the labs are decently equipped; no problem with that. The hostels are average, and so is the food, but you can play badminton, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: The curriculum is as per UGC, so no problem with that, but the faculty, for the most part, is pretty bad. You have to put a lot of effort into understanding things. The exams are well overall; an allrounder type, they can be both difficult and easy. The pass percentage is well above 90 percent only in electrical; other branches have more difficult exams.
Other: At my rank, this was the best college for circuital branches. I didn't want mech, and the placements were also quite good. The best part about this college is the freedom you get with it. Believe me! The fests are also decent; we have had some great guests, but yes, some average as well.

Great placements and internships.
Placements: Before the recession period, almost 80–85% of the students were placed, with the average package being around 19.3 Lacs per annum and the highest package being 82 LPA. The top recruiting companies visit the campus which includes Atlassian, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, DE Shaw, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really poor in comparison with the other colleges. Although most of the facilities, like the library, Wi-Fi, etc., are available, the maintenance part is really bad. The food we get in the hostel is okay.
Faculty: The teachers present over here are highly qualified for their positions. Although they don't pay much attention to the teaching portion,. Most of the preparation is done by the students themselves. The curriculum adopted by UGC is also not that relevant. The semester exams depend on the faculty in charge.
Other: The fests take place three times in a single year, which is a really great thing, with many big names performing at the events.

My college is very good.
Placements: Our electrical engineering program excelled in placements, with 85% student placement success. Notably, the highest package reached 72 lacs, while the average package stood at 14.5 lacs, and the lowest package was 6 lacs. Top recruiters included Tech Mahindra, Infosys, L&T, Cisco, and Siemens. Additionally, 70% of students secured internships in companies like ITC, Crompton Greaves, and ABB. Students were offered roles like design engineer, software engineer, electrical engineer, project manager, and research assistant, preparing them for industry challenges.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and water supply are absolutely fine. But the library facility is not as good as compared to other NITs. Mess is cooperative, so we don't face any problem about our mess. The college experience is truly remarkable, offering a perfect blend of academic excellence, vibrant campus life, and unforgettable memories. The institution's commitment to nurturing young minds is evident in its state-of-the-art infrastructure, esteemed faculty, and cutting-edge curriculum.
Faculty: Our staff is very helpful. They solve all our doubts completely. Our exam level is very difficult, but our teachers already taught those topics in our exam. Our college's electrical engineering faculty has provided a comprehensive curriculum, balancing theory and practice. Rigorous exams in circuit analysis, digital electronics, microprocessors, and power systems have tested your knowledge. Project-based learning has honed your skills, preparing you for industry challenges. The electrical branch's curriculum, taught by expert faculty, has equipped you with theoretical knowledge.
Other: Our fest is so amazing; there are so many big artists who come and give their performances. And our campus is so green. Campus and hostel life full of enjoyment.

This is a good college; placements are very good, with an average of 6 LPA.
Placements: The course in our college is good, and placements are impressive. Batchmates are helpful. The highest package in civil engineering is 19 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. Additionally, 20% of students secure internships in their third year, covering both technical and non-technical domains.
Infrastructure: The college recently started a new hospital on campus. Various games and activities are conducted between different branches and UG vs. PG students. Every hostel provides sports equipment, has a sports secretary, and includes a small dispensary. Indoor games are also available in the hostels.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college hold postgraduate degrees from IITs. Teachers provide full support for both minor and major projects. Maintaining a CGPA of 7 is important since it is the eligibility criterion for most companies. The college also offers industrial training and various other opportunities.
