Unfortunately, the placement cell at Mar Ivanios College does not seem to offer extensive assistance to B.Com students in securing placements. According to student reviews:

    * Limited company recruitment: Only a few companies visit the college for placements, and most students may not find suitable job opportunities.

I am really happy. It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: I am pursuing a bachelor of commerce here, and placement opportunities were provided in banking companies. Federal Bank and South Indian Bank were the top recruiters, which offered a starting salary of around Rs. 25,000 to 30,000 per month. Placements will be given to 4 to 6 aspirants by every company.
Infrastructure: Our college has 4 hostels for men and women where the facilities provided are good. The aesthetics of the college is really nice and enjoyable. The food served in the hostel is also nice and has nothing to complain about. The college has one of the best libraries in the district. Sports are well-promoted here, and there is access to the canteen and medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and friendly. They are very approachable. The curriculum is very good and makes students industry-ready. The college is autonomous, so it is easy to conduct exams on time and also publish results on time. The semester exams are moderately tough, and the pass percentage is 80% to 90%.
Other: Our course allowed me to pursue CA along with B.Com. Campus life is really good and includes a lot of activities and fun.

Review of Mar Ivanios College (Thiruvananthapuram).
Placements: You should not expect placements here, and this course doesn't provide you with enough placements in our college. M.Com is necessary to get good opportunities for placements and career development. There is a placement and career development cell in our college which invites some companies for placements. But they will recruit only a few students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in our college. There is a Wi-Fi facility only in some places like in auditorium, computers and other places. There are labs for other courses, and the computer lab is very small. There are nice classrooms, and the library is huge, with very different kinds of books. There is a vast collection of books in the library, so it is very useful. There are some medical facilities also, and the canteen is also good. There are mess facilities, and sports and games are also well provided.
Faculty: Our college provides us with the utmost value-based education. Faculty members here are highly trained and qualified according to their skills and ability to provide everything for good academic research. Faculty members are selected commonly based on their experience.
Other: Good scholarships are provided by our management for students who get A+ grade in all semesters. Our college provides A grade in all the subjects to provide high motivation for students. Our college celebrates college days, sports days, along with festivals, etc., for us to show our talent and to improve more.

It is the best place ever in my life.
Placements: Our batch includes 60 students with good boys and girls. I have recently graduated from B.Com, and around 70% to 80% of the students got placed in reputed companies. One of my friends got placed with the highest salary of Rs. 35,000 per month. The lowest salary offered here is Rs. 20,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. About 70% of the students got internships in companies like Microsoft, Tata, Vodafone, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top class. Classrooms are under CCTV surveillance and have smart class technology and are well painted. Our college has also adopted eco-friendly methods to maintain centralised air-conditioners, Wi-Fi and some other specialities. As I don't stay in the hostel, I don't know about it.
Faculty: Faculty members here are a little above average. Some faculty members teach superb, and others are also good at their teaching. Every faculty member has a vast knowledge of the subject, and they are highly qualified and educated. B.Com is an expensive course, and it makes students well-settled in their future. Every industry needs an accountant, auditor, etc. So, the MBA course surely makes students industry-ready very good.
Other: I have chosen this course and this college because I wanted to have a good career. By choosing B.Com, we can study not only commerce but also some other courses in future. It is a lovely course to pursue than other streams. Our college organises fests like music, dance, food, Fastest, etc. Students get scholarships offered by our college, including Oxford scholarship.

I am satisfied with campus life and good infrastructure. The college provides bad placements.
Placements: Less than 5% of the students from the pass out batch got placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. None of the students from our course got an internship. There are other placements offered by Kerala University, and it is accessible to students through recruitment drives conducted in other colleges.
Infrastructure: For self-financing courses like B.Com and B.A. English, there are very decent facilities, including smart classrooms and soon to open recreational hall. Wi-Fi facility is not available. There is only one proper computer lab for the college as of yet, which is thoroughly insufficient. The library is very good with a vast collection of books, which are organised efficiently. The hostels have the worst curfew times ever with basic facilities. The canteen serves very few varieties, but the quality of the food served is very good. The college is known best for basketball sports. The college provides decent facilities for other sports like football, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, chess, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are aptly qualified for holding their positions. They are excellent with amazing teaching abilities. The majority of teachers are young and relatively new to their fields. They are less experienced and knowledgeable. Some of them don't even care about teaching, but students are not that welcoming either so we cannot blame teachers completely. The course curriculum is relevant. Students will need some additional training to become industry-ready.
Other: The college union organises a lot of cultural events to make an active campus life. The college fest Ivano is organised at our college, and it is a very popular fest in the state. Almost every department organises its own inter-college and intra-college fests for students.
