Glimpse to Marian Engineering College.
Placements: The placement history of the college is really good. There is a placement cell available. The average package offered is 5 LPA. Higher will go up to 15 LPA. All students passed out of the college are working and are well skilled. College and this course offer the students the opportunity to develop the skills required for the industry.
Infrastructure: The course structure is planned by the KTU itself. The is implementing the structure very effectively, and facilities are helpful. The hostel is very neat and well maintained. They are timing for entering the college afternoon. The food and service are very good.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and helpful. Our staff advisors are kind and very much helpful for our academic things. The curriculum is based on KTU university, and exams are regular, so a 2-series test will be conducted before the semester test, and many assignments will be tested to ensure our chapters.
Other: Campus life is good, but programs are few compared to other colleges, but activities inside different clubs can overcome that situation that it provides enough enjoyment.

Excellent and satisfied with the college.
Placements: Marian Engineering College is a very good college. Most of the students got placed in many companies. Almost 300 students got placed in many different companies. Most of the students got 5-6 LPA in companies like Infosys, IBM, Skill Winner, TSC, Federal Bank, and other companies as well.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure, including smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and labs. Both departmental and college libraries are available. The campus is clean and well maintained, with effective roads and bus transportation to many parts of Kerala. The college also has good seminar halls, and all classrooms have projectors installed.
Faculty: Marian Engineering College has a very excellent teaching staff. Most of the teachers have over 10 years of experience and are well qualified. They are very good at teaching their respective subjects and provide effective content. The pass percentage is almost 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course because I like civil engineering, which is the backbone of engineering. I especially enjoy designing and estimation.

I am dissatisfied with the college life.
Placements: Less than 25% of students got placed in civil engineering. The highest salary package offered is less than 20 LPA. Aarbee Structures is the only core company which visits our college for recruitment. Less than 10% of students got internships from the civil course. The top role offered in civil is a structural engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Students don't get direct access to Wi-Fi. There are labs with average facilities. Our college has good classrooms and a library with essential books. The hostel has strict timings. The quality of the food is decent. There are no gym facilities. Sports and games are not available. Medical facilities are above average.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are helpful. Others don't know about the subject. They refer to YouTube in the class. Sometimes, they make mistakes. The course curriculum is outdated. It only focuses on bigger disciplines. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is very low.
Other: I'm not sure what to choose; nothing seems special. A complete arrangement should be provided for the course. Events are not conducted well. Only 2 events are held in a semester. Others are not present in the campus.

Life at Marian Engineering College.
Placements: The placements here are quite good, we have a placement cell that trains the students for their placement, and also conducts mock interviews etc and prepares the students for their career journey really well. Companies like TCS, UST etc. visit our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The hostel here at Marian is good, it has a beautiful ambience and good facilities but the food isn't that great, Monthly fee is 5800 including all kinds of bills, the curfew time is 6:30 you won't be allowed to enter the hostel after a second after 6:30 pm.
Faculty: The faculty members are nice and strict they help you and provide you with everything required, they are very much dedicated to their work and always willing to tell us more, they are strict and friendly depending on the situation. They explain everything well and we can definitely rely on them.
Other: The course I have chosen was only available in 3 colleges at that time and Marian was one among them and also a good college that's why I came here and I wanted to pursue B.Tech in electronics and computer engineering, the course consists of hard papers and core papers of both electronics and computer engineering and sometimes there might be a little change too, we have opportunities in both fields, IT software and hardware electronics field.

Life at Marian Engineering College.
Placements: The placements here are quite good. We have a placement cell that trains the students for their placement and also conducts mock interviews, etc., preparing the students for their career journey really well. Companies like TCS, UST, etc., visit our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Marian is a green campus, and you won't see any plastics here and there. It's always clean and well-maintained. It is a vast campus with buildings for each department separately. The hostel here at Marian is good. It has a beautiful ambiance and good facilities, but the food isn't that great. The fees a month are 5800, including all kinds of bills. The curfew time is 6:30; you won't be allowed to enter the hostel after a second after 6:30 pm.
Faculty: The faculty members are nice and strict. They help you and provide you with everything required. They are very much dedicated to their work and always willing to tell us more. They are strict and friendly at the same time. They explain everything well. We have two series of exams every semester and one university main exam.
Other: The course I have chosen was only available in three colleges at that time, and Marian was one among them. It is also a good college. That's why I came here. I wanted to pursue B.Tech in electronics and computer engineering. The course consists of hard papers or core papers of both electronics and computer engineering, and sometimes there might be a little changes too. Strong infrastructure and facilities, decent placements, less support in extracurricular activities.
Placements: The Electronics and Computer branch where it operates is new; hence, placement statistics haven’t been generated. However, in other related branches, the placement percentage is higher than 75 percent, with an average salary ranging from 4 LPA to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in each department. ES is now under the Electronics and Communication department. There is a common library for all, and hostels are available. The food changes every academic year. Sports like football, chess, and badminton are available, but you have to take the first step.
Faculty: The faculties are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. From this course, you can work in manufacturing industries, military (defense), and many others. Each semester, we have to study three papers from CS and two from EC or vice versa, which is difficult to manage.
Other: This course is always relevant in this world. You can study both electronics and computer science and work in private or government organizations because CS and IT have fewer opportunities in government jobs. The courses are not bad, but industry relevance is higher here.
