Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.E. / B.Tech programs at Narnarayan Shastri Institute Technology?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/BTech Programs at Narayan Shastri Institute of Technology

Unfortunately, the placement cell at Narayan Shastri Institute of Technology appears to be ineffective for BE/BTech programs. According to various students' reviews, the college did not provide any placements, despite promising otherwise before admitting students. Some students reported attending placement fairs and applying to multiple companies, but ultimately did not secure jobs.

    * "We were promised before taking admission here that we would receive placement assistance from the college. But they didn't provide any placements when I passed out from the college." - Student Review
    * "Around 30 to 35 students will register for this consultancy, and among them, only 3 to 4 students get jobs." - Student Review
    * "Companies do not visit our college for placements. I lastly saw placement before 3 years, while I took admission in college. After that, our college does not provide placements in our department." - Student Review

It's essential for prospective students to research thoroughly and verify claims made by the institution regarding placement opportunities. It may be beneficial for the college to improve its recruitment strategies and establish stronger ties with industry partners to enhance job prospects for its graduates.

College is under NFSU's charge so, many things have been changed. One can try.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed from our course. There's no placement in our college. No companies are recruiting any students from our college as there are no tie-ups. All of them secured internships in online mode. Roles offered are data scientist, java developer, full stack developer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available for students. Classrooms are also average though bigger in size. Library is also average but labs are good and have well-equipped devices in them. Hostels are good enough to live. Canteen is good, everyone likes the food as lunch is available every day for Rs. 60.
Faculty: I can say average help provided by teachers yet they are knowledgeable. Yes it is relevant but no they don't make students industry ready. Exams are hard at some points but if well prepared it is a piece of cake. Around 75% students passes the exam.
Other: Sports day is celebrated every year but students can't enjoy it too much as there is lesser management.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very bad. Few necessary facilities are available for our course. Wi-Fi is available on our college campus but with very slow speed. Labs are very small. The classroom is not very good. In our college campus, there is a central library.
Faculty: The teachers are not helpful to every student. They are qualified from unknown colleges. Few teachers haven't any experience. The teaching quality is very bad. The course curriculum is not relevant or industry-ready. The semester exam is very difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: The campus crowd is average. The campus surroundings are very bad.

    College placement is very good.
Placements: Campus placements are taken during our last year I. e. fourth year. The percentage of students getting placements is like 50 percent. Because some students don't like there offered package. My plans after the degree is to take up the GATE exam and do my masters degree while working for a company and improving my skills.
Infrastructure: My college is Swaminarayan trust college. And the faculty is also swaminarayan, so they do not provide fest and text fest or like any events. The library is good they many books and journals in the library. Every year they conduct sports week of like 3 days. They add basic games and stuff or other competitive games.
Faculty: I was really into programming so I took computer Science and engineering. The faculty is good they teach their student even if only one student is present but the student ratio is like 1:2. All my faculty are well-educated with Bachelors degree in engineering their method is also good. The term exam of the college is taken before 2 months of the semester exam and the difficult level is mid.

    Good faculty and average placements.
Placements: The placements in our college are not so great; they are average at most, with around 60% of students placed in mechanical engineering. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, the lowest package offered was 3 LPA, and the average package was around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TVS Motors, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra. The percentage of students who got internships from our course was very low: 30%.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided to the students are not very good. The infrastructure is also average. The classrooms are well-cleaned and maintained, and the library offers some useful books. The quality of the food available is good, and there are some facilities for playing sports.
Faculty: The teachers are good, but some of them do not teach properly. Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and qualified, and the teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant, but some topics are outdated. It is enough to make students industry-ready. The semester exams in our college are normal. They are neither tough nor easy, but if you study, you can easily score good marks.
