Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.A.M.S. at National Institute of Ayurveda?

    A:
    {Source: B.A.M.S. students & alumni}

Here's how the course curriculum at National Institute of Ayurveda is structured for B.A.M.S:

Duration: The course consists of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd profs of one-year duration, and a final professor of 1.5 years.

Structure: The course follows a non-semester pattern, with annual exams conducted at the end of each year. A minimum passing score of 50% is required.

It seems that the exact structure of the course may vary slightly across semesters or academic years, but overall, the course duration and evaluation pattern remain consistent.

The best Ayurveda college in India.
Placements: Because it's a medical course, students don't directly get placed in various companies, but the marks one scores throughout the course are the basis of selection for the post of medical officer. If someone wants to get a job just after graduation, other than that, most students pursue a PG, which can be done at the same college, but admission is based on an entrance exam, i.e., on a merit basis. 100% of students get an internship opportunity during the last year of the course, where a stipend of $25,000 is paid to each and every student. The top roles offered in the course are medical officers, government jobs, research officers, and dieticians. You can also work with world health organizations or start your own clinical practice. The average package after completing B.A.M.S. is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The labs are very well equipped with modern infrastructure and all amenities, for example, a virtual dissection table, VR headsets to study physiology, dummy for human functions, electronic microscopes, etc. The classrooms have two projectors, a smart board, and air conditioning. The library has almost every book required for the course. Hostels are well built, but the number is insufficient. That's why 1st and 2nd year students don't get hostels to stay in. The quality of food in the mess is better than that of the canteen, and it is also more affordable in the mess. Medical facilities are available all the time because it's a medical college, so there's a hospital you can visit in case of any medical emergency. For sports, there's a large field that has a running track, football, tennis, table tennis, squash, cricket pitch, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified, and most of them have graduated from our college itself. They are very helpful; they'll help you even outside of office hours. The course curriculum is up-to-date and relevant. It does make the students industry-ready because Ayurveda is actually a growing industry, and because we have a big hospital and a lot of patients come there for treatment, that's why there's a lot of exposure and a lot of room for students to learn about new diseases and their treatments. The semester exams are moderate to tough—not very tough, though.
Other: I chose this course because my family is familiar with this field, which is actually an emerging field. Recently, the CJI was also raising it. I think the course is good, and there's not much to improve on, but about the college, I think the campus should have been a little bigger. There are a lot of events throughout the year, including sports competitions and cultural festivals. There are also timely seminars from each department to increase exposure and knowledge. There's also a scholarship for students in the reserved category, which covers the tuition fee expenses.

One of the finest Ayurvedic Colleges of the World.
Placements: Almost 85 Percent students get placed. Most students have got their placement within a very short time. NIA has produced lots of Medical officers who have been working all over India. This is a medical College so, The 1-year internship is included with your course. This is the one of the finest colleges of the world.
Infrastructure: This is very good. You will get a very good library facility, You will have access to more than 1 Lacs books in the library with the latest research and journals from all over the world. The hostel is very good, but there is no possibility to get a hostel for the 1st-year students. The accommodation is very good but less. According to your exam marks NEET the authority will be allotted your seat. Obviously, Home distance is countable. NIA has a variety of foreign student collections. The canteen is good. There is a badminton court and a Central field. You will have access to lots of sports activities. The lab facility is very good. Countries one of the finest labs is in NIA. The classroom is very good.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. Every teacher has a Ph.D. degree. They are very Qualified. You will get access counties one of the finest teachers' communities and seniors. Yes, Students are ready for their own field and they are doing their job successfully. You have to study harder otherwise it will be more difficult to pass the exam. Good choice for students who want to pursue B.A.M.S.
Placements: I am a 2nd-year student at NIA Jaipur, and I must say the college has a very good reputation among government B.A.M.S. colleges in India. The best thing is that students get good clinical exposure, as the hospital of NIA is the top Ayurveda hospital in Rajasthan. Students also get a good amount in stipend compared to other government colleges.
Infrastructure: It has decent infrastructure, experienced and well-qualified faculty, and a well-stocked library and laboratory. The only problem is that students don't get hostel accommodation in the 1st year and also face difficulty in the 2nd year to get a hostel. The hostels are good with all facilities, but you have to stay outside in a PG or flat for approximately 2 years before being able to get a seat in the hostel.
Faculty: The college also organizes sports and cultural events every year. Some research work of the AYUSH ministry is also done in NIA, so students also get a chance to learn about research in Ayurveda. The college also has a beautiful herbal garden with all medicinal plants in it.
Other: Overall, the college is a good option for students who want to pursue B.A.M.S. in a top Ayurveda college.

The best college for Ayurveda, if you want life in Ayurveda you should try to get admission at NIA.
Placements: Almost 60- 70% of students get jobs in the Government or Private sector. Mainly Government vacancies and Private college lectureships offered by students. Some private companies like Dabur, Patanjali, Jiva, and many more are offered. Package around government sector around 10-12 LPA and private sector 3-8 LPA. The internship is compulsory for every student.
Infrastructure: The labs are quite well. Mainly Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology labs. Classroom well furnished and projector and air-conditioner establish in the room. Wi-Fi is also available on the campus. There are 17 different departments available. Well-managed library. Even I see the best library of course available only in NIA. The hostel is good. Games and cultural activities always happen once a year like a fest.
Faculty: All teachers all well qualified and also have good knowledge. Teaching quality best in NIA. They give you proper knowledge with a practical framework. After you get the degree you easily represent your college and your path with good service in future terms.
Other: I am interested in this course. Knowledge and practical participation are the best things about our course. Campus surroundings and atmosphere where you feel so much comfort with in future term healthy competition.
