Yes, NDIM is a good college for PGDM. The institute has been declared the First and only Mentor Institute in India in the Management category by the AICTE. It is an integral part of the non-profit & charitable education society, Society for Employment and Career Counselling. NDIM Delhi offers a PGDM course in various specialisations. All the course offered by NDIM is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) UK. New Delhi Institute of Management facilities are numerous and help students in having a hassle-free college life. The admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list or counselling and other steps. Check below the NDIM admission process:

  1. Application: The mode of application is online for all courses.
  2. Selection rounds: Candidates will be shortlisted for the PGDM course CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT or any other state common entrance exam score followed by a GDPI round. The institute also considers the academic performance, achievements and work experience of the candidates.
  3. Merit List & Counselling: Candidates' performance in the selection rounds is evaluated to create a merit list. Candidates with their names in the merit list are required to appear for the counselling along with the specified documents for verification. Shortlisted candidates need to pay fee to confirm their admission.

NDIM offers separate boys and girls hostels in a good and secure environment. They are all close to the university. There are also accommodations for married students. Some of the academic members also reside in these hostels. The cost, which includes meals, is determined by the services provided. The students have access to free campus transit both ways. Starting at Rs. 9000 per month, hostel fees include twin-sharing rooms with furnishings, air conditioning, connected bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and public TV. Additional facilities (such as single occupancy, air conditioning, family accommodations, etc.) may result in higher prices.

Q:   What is the selection process for MBA/ PGDM at NDIM Delhi?

A: 

NDIM Delhi selects students for all MBAs based on their performance in the national-level entrance examination, group discussions, interviews and others. Check out the selection process below: 

  • Final selection is based on overall performance.
  • Graduation, 12 Class & 10 Class exams
  • CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT or State Common entrance examinations
  • Group Discussion and Personal Interviews
  • Achievement in any other field/ activity including sports, extra-curricular activities, work experience, additional educational qualifications, activities highlighting leadership, teamwork, innovation, decision-making qualities, contribution to social causes/ community service, etc.

Q:   What is the admission process for BBA programme at NDIM?

A: 

The institute offers a 3-year BBA programme. NDIM BBA programme is offered in two shifts for the duration of three years. Students also need to qualify for the basic eligibility criteria, which is that candidates must have passed Class 12 from CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core, elective, or functional) as a subject. Given below is the step-by-step procedure to get admission to NDIM:

NDIM Delhi accepts CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, and ATMA scores for the admission to PGDM courses. NDIM Delhi cutoff 2022 has been released across PGDM courses in the form of opening and closing ranks.  The cutoff percentile for CMAT, CAT, MAT and XAT are 75, 60, 75, and 60, respectively. . Q:   What is the XAT 2023 cut off?

A: 

XAT cut off is released category wise. The cut off percentile for female candidates and male candidates are different. The cut offs for engineering and non engineering candidates are different and XAT cut offs for PGDM BM and PGDM HRM are different.

The XAT 2023 cut offs for PGDM HRM program, for male engineering candidates was 93 percentile while that for female engineering students, it was 91 percentile. XAT cut off 2023 for male applicants from a non-engineering background was 90 percentile and for women candidates from a non-engineering background is 88 percentile. For the PGDM BM program, the XAT 2023 cut off for male engineering candidates was 95 percentile and for female engineering students it was 92 percentile. Male applicants from a non-engineering background required a 95 percentile and women from a non-engineering background required 92 percentile. Placements: Currently, I am pursuing a PGDM in finance and business analytics at NDIM. Within 14 months of joining, I have been placed with Protiviti Consulting, as a general research associate. I am incredibly thankful to NDIM for providing such an opportunity to me. The highest salary package offered in our batch is 17 LPA. Companies that have visited the campus so far are Deloitte, PwC, Oxane Partners, Blackrock, Naukri. Com, Ion, Zomato, Aditya Birla, REA (Housing. Com), Tech Mahindra, Make my Trip, etc.
Infrastructure: Canteens on the campus are hygienic. Talking about rooms and cabins, they help prepare for interviews. IT labs are fully equipped with LAN ports and individual systems, which are helpful. Our college buildings are artistic and fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: The tools that we have learned at NDIM are all coding and non-coding platforms for data analysis helped me to crack the interviews and are a need of the future. Apart from that, I would especially mention our faculty members and placement cell have groomed me in such a way that within the 3rd semester itself, I have been placed.

Step 1: 'Apply Now' may be found on the NDIM website.

Step 2: Enter your name, email address, mobile number, etc. while registering.

Step 3: Click 'Save & Continue' after entering the information.

Step 4: The page will then be sent to the payment portal, where applicants must pay an INR 1,000 application fee using a credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking.

Step 4: Candidates will get an order number from the payment portal upon successful completion of payment. The institute will then mail a hard copy of the prospectus and advise the applicants of the dates for the group discussion and the personal interview.

Documents required at the time of application: CAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA scorecard, graduation certificate, and mark sheet.

Q:   What is CAT exam pattern 2024?

A: 

CAT is a computer based test which is conducted in three shifts. The CAT is conducted for two hours in which candidates have to solve 68 questions.

These 68 questions are divided into three sections Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension VARC Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning DILR and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). The VARC section has 24 questions, the DILR section has 28 questions and QA section has 22 question. Each question carries 3 marks for correct entry and -1 for incorrect entry. There is no negative marking for unanswered question. A unique aspect of CAT is the sectional time limit. Each section has a time limit of 40 minutes (53.20 minutes for PwD candidates).

Candidates have to complete the section within the time limit as the moment the onscreen timer shows 0 minutes left, the screen will automatically move to the next section. There is no option to go back to older questions. Also, candidates have to follow the question paper chronology. They have to first solve the VARC section, then the DILR section and then the QA section.

Q:   What is the XAT 2025 exam date?

A: 

XAT 2025 will be held on the first Sunday of January 2025, which is January 5. The exam date was officially announced by XLRI Jamshedpur on July 15, 2024. The announcement was made at the XATONLINE website. The exam will be held in 110 cities from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. The registration process will go on until December 10, 2024. Candidates are required to fill the online application form before the deadline to be eligible to appear for XAT 2025.

Q:   What is the PGDM fees at NDIM?

A: 

The total fee of PGDM course is INR 11.50 lakh. The fee is exclusive of hostel and international tour charges. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The application fee for admission is INR 1,000.

Q:   Is MBA/ PGDM available at NDIM Delhi?

Yes, NDIM does offer a two-year full-degree PGDM programme, divided into four semesters. NDIM doesn't offer MBA courses.
