Q:   Is B.Sc. at Pandit Prithi Nath College a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

After analyzing the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what emerges:

    * Placement and Salary: While around 70% of students get placed, the salaries vary greatly, ranging from INR15,000 to INR35,000 per month. The highest package offered is around INR12 LPA. However, the placement rate is improving, and the college is actively working to increase internship and placement opportunities.
    * Teaching Quality: Teachers are described as helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They provide notes and solutions to minor and major problems, making them accessible and supportive.
    * Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old, but the college provides all necessary facilities. Classrooms are not well-cared for, but the library is useful, albeit lacking in modern curriculum books. There's no cafeteria, but a reading room is available.
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant and covers recent research and developments in the field. Practical teaching is emphasized, making students "industry-ready."
    * Campus Life: The college has a big campus, separate buildings for each department, and offers various extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS. Security guards are present to ensure safety.

Overall, B.Sc. at Pandit Prithi Nath College seems to be a decent choice, especially considering its reputation in Kanpur. While there may be areas for improvement, the college is taking steps to enhance its infrastructure, placement rates, and teaching quality.

I am not satisfied with this college because of its placements.
Placements: Almost 35% of students got placed in our college in several companies. The highest salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month. The average salary offered ranges between Rs. 17,000 - Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Some research labs visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is old. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our classrooms are neither good nor well-cleaned. The library is helpful, but it doesn't have the latest curriculum books. It has many plenty of revised old curriculum books.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, kind, and considerate of our concerns. They are very professional as well as humble. They used to solve our minor and major problems. They provide us with notes. The exams are good. The course curriculum is relevant.

The campus is good, which in turn makes the college good.
Placements: 70% students are getting placed. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. 50% students get internship. There are many roles offered for our course such as executive, sales etc.
Infrastructure: My college is quite big. All departments have separate floors and my college has all Bachelor courses such as B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA etc. My college has high quality Wi-Fi. They also have good sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers of my department are so good in teaching and motivating students. The semester exams are too difficult, which makes the students solve the university exams very easily. The course curriculum is more relevant.
Other: I wanted to do B.Sc and so I chose this college. Gardens should be maintained properly.

The teaching staff are very helpful.
Placements: In PPN College, approximately 80% of final year students get placement. If you want to get placement from PPN college to any company you should have your resume and also you should be a student of final year because most of the companies prefer final year students to offer placement. The highest package from the college is approximately 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good and friendly with any student. There is a big grass ground which is generally used for games and for fun also. The college faculty members are very disciplined and this is the best thing that makes the PPN college better than other colleges. Every teacher focus on the practical teaching. Other faculty members like medical, mess, canteen, sports and games are regular and very good.
Faculty: The teaching staff are very helpful and knowledgeful. The teachers of PPN college always help their students in every area not in just study but also for their career management. Every course and curriculum related to it is very good. If I am talking about the exam level of PPN college I can say, you should learn approximately every chapter to clear the exam because the exam level is always moderate to hard.
Other: The college crowd is full of teachers, students and college volunteers. In my course, there are 70% girls and remaining are boys. In the college many extra curricular activities run like NCC, NSS etc. I chose the B.Sc. course because I like Maths and Science. In my course teachers are very good and very hard working.

Our college has the best faculty, and the teaching quality is good.
Placements: Internships are provided to students while they are studying. A student, after completing B.Sc., can go into the teaching line or can apply for jobs. Especially if students want to crack any competitive exams, they can complete their bachelor of science while preparing for their exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms are spacious. Labs have all the required equipment. The library is well-arranged. A reading room is provided to students, where they can go in their free time. An E-library is available. A well-furnished auditorium is also present in our college, where seminars are held regularly.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and highly qualified. They are willing to help students. The teaching quality is great. Exams are moderate. The passing percentage in exams is 60%. B.Sc. gives students a basic stand in their career. A student can appear for various jobs after getting degree.
Other: Scholarships are available for needy students. Various activities are held to boost the confidence of students.

A good college for brilliant student .
Placements: The placements are below average as of now. College is working towards bringing more internship and placement opportunities for student. I don't know enough about salary and companies because percentage of placement is very low. But we have a placement cell that take cares of our placements and internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of ppn PG college is good. We have clean class room, library, e_library, laboratories, ground, and play area. But there is no cafeteria. In library lots of books are there. They maintain proper hygiene. The college campus is equipped with security guard for better security of students. I don't know about hostel and mess because I am not a hostler.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified, experienced. Classes are well represented by teachers and quit interactive and easy. Our curriculum is updated up to date with all recent research and development in the field are also covered. Level of exam is quite tough. And the pass percentage is about 90%.

Our college has a really good infrastructure and the best faculty members.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges in Kanpur.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The campus is very vast. Every department has separate offices and separate building inside the campus. Medical facilities are available. The library is very good, and you can get books from different authors of the same subject.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. But you have to work really very hard if you take admission in this college as regular classes are mandatory. Besides that, practicals are regularly done in labs for a better understanding of students about the subject. Faculty members are really very helpful. Strictly norms and rules are followed in terms of regularity. The syllabus is also very vast. It doesn't make students industry-ready, but it enhances the knowledge of students very great extent.
Other: I chose this course because I had a huge interest in mathematics and statistics. The best thing about our course is statistics is all practical based which is used in almost every field today. I wish that our college should improve a few things like should provide a more practical approach in statistics to make students understand.
