Placements: Only 5 percent of students get placements from this course. The highest package for the course is 50k, while the lowest package is 15k. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, etc. On average, 3 percent to 15 percent of students get placements in this course. Roles offered include software engineer, web developer, app developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is moderately clean, and the rooms are a little bit clean. There are strict restrictions, such as having to study at a specific time, cleaning your room at least once a week, and no smoking or drinking allowed. Wi-Fi is not available on campus, but the canteen is good. Medical facilities are not available, but sports and games are better.
Faculty: The faculty is attentive to students, and teachers in the controller section are involved. Many seminars are conducted in our college, focusing on topics like new AI development and anti-smoking. However, this college does not prepare students well for industrial and professional experience. The semester exams are very difficult.

Faculty: Faculty very carefully handle each student, teacher,controler section and all the members of the union. Things that you should know before get admission in Panskura Banamali College.
Placements: 5% of our college students got placed in the positions of telecaller, receptionist, and other low-grade jobs. The highest package offered was 1.3 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Sriram Life Insurance, Kutchina, and other local regional companies. When we were in the 4th semester, our college charged 300 rupees for a value-added course, but after submission of the fees, no classes were taken, and no certificates were provided as promised. In summary, no internships were provided.
Infrastructure: Our biotechnology department has two labs. There are many more machines, but they are not in working condition. For instance, in our semester, with 50 students, only 1 or 2 machines were properly used by us. The library is quite good; it has lots of books, and we can stay there as well. The ambiance is conducive to studying. I have enrolled for hostel accommodation, but hostel facilities are not available. We do have a canteen on our campus, but the quality of the food isn't good, and the prices are too high. Sports facilities are available, such as a gymnasium, football field, cricket net, basketball court, and indoor games. These are mainly for the students of B.Ed. and M.P.Ed.
Faculty: All the faculty members are qualified; all of them hold Ph.D. degrees. However, none of them are too helpful. The teachers and faculty members only prefer the students who flatter them. In my opinion, this does not help you with any competitive exams. The course curriculum is the same, but if you want to crack any exams, you have to study separately. I don't think that the students are industry-ready because the lab facility is not good. The students who graduate from this department do not get any basic practical knowledge. They have to pursue a Masters from a good college in order to be industry-ready. Semester exams are at a moderate level; two internals are taken before each semester. The pass percentage is 30%.

With Good Infrastructure and Good Faculty: Panskura Banamali College
Placements: No student from my batch has been selected anywhere. TCS, Shri Ram Finance, Kuchina, etc., are the recruiting companies. I am pursuing a B.Sc. in Physics through my course. According to previous years' data, the lowest package is 10K, the median package is 25K, and the highest package is 45K. About 60% of students have attended internships at ISRO, and 8% of students have attended internships at DST Inspire. Almost 100% of students have interned at Medinipur College.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, our department allows students to easily obtain a bachelor's degree in Physics. There is a friendly relationship between teachers and students. One student has even achieved the highest degree, a Ph.D., at our college in Physics. The labs are modern, and there is Wi-Fi available. The food in the canteen and hostel is good value for money. There are two large playgrounds: one for football and another for volleyball.
Faculty: Regarding the faculty, our teachers are highly qualified in their subjects. They deliver lectures in an easy-to-understand manner, but about 10% of the teachers may not teach effectively. Students have opportunities to secure jobs in the industry. However, it is quite challenging for the Department of Physics to qualify for semester exams, as a minimum of 40% is required to pass.
Other: I chose this course to pursue higher studies in science and technology. The laboratory in our college's Physics department requires further improvements. There are also better scholarship opportunities for many students, such as INSPIRE, SVMCM, NSP, JRF, etc.
