It is a very good college.
Placements: Few placements are offered in this college. Placements were not good due to covid.
Infrastructure: Girls' hostel is available. Hostel is very good for study purposes. The security facility is good in our hostel. Mess is average. The food served in the hostel is better. We are not allowed to cook in our hostel rooms.
Faculty: Teachers complete our syllabus as per schedule. Our university is not supportive. Professors are very good and supportive. Every two months, we are preparing for exams, presentations, and assignments. We have to shift our hostel before our course is completed. We have to submit our projects and assignments in our department as per schedule. Around 75% of attendance is required in this college.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it.

It is an average college with average faculty members and campus.
Placements: This college doesn't have placements at all. All departments have the same flexibility and placement issues.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, our college is good but not great as no one cares. You'll find the building cracked, grounds with an immense amount of grass and animals grazing here and there. Our college doesn't organise any sports tournaments. This place is a historical place, but the government doesn't focus on it. The campus is good, but it is not maintained properly. The quality of facilities available here is average, and you can't rely on them. The infrastructure is very old, and it is old school.
Faculty: Teachers are average here, and you can't rely on them. As B.A in computer application is a vocational course, but the quality of knowledge we get is poor. Semester exams are fine and are conducted properly. Students get good marks, but the college won't make you industry-ready.
Other: It was my dream to pursue computer engineering, but I had no other choices because I am from an economically average family. So I chose Patna University. The teachers should be replaced with some talented and young faculty members. Events are organised but not much.

In Patna College, we get friends, memories, moments and more things.
Placements: None of the students got placed through campus selection. However, some students got government jobs and some cracked online interviews. Teachers were supportive, and they provided all the links and other resources to help to get jobs. Almost 30% of the students are doing jobs now. The highest salary package offered might around 2.5 LPA, but I am not sure about the lowest salary package offered. The top recruiting company of our course was TCS, and roles offered were associates in TCS. Almost we all got internships in local companies and Patna based startups during our tenure.
Infrastructure: There is no maintenance of infrastructure, and there is no Wi-Fi facility, but it was being installed during my tenure. Labs were equipped but not updated, and all systems were not working. Classrooms were old and cold, and the library was not that much accessible for professional course students. There was just one room in the library, and we were not allowed to explore other parts of it. I didn't avail the hostel facility, but I heard and watched in the news that it is in poor condition and mismanagement. There was no college canteen for us, but the sports team was available. We have to manage all the things on our own. The medical facility was good.
Faculty:
Teachers here were not permanent and also even now. The subsidiary teachers are only permanent staff members. Teachers here were very helpful and supportive. Instead of being only guest faculty members, they taught us like permanent faculty members. They all were qualified and experienced, ad they know very well what they were teaching. Because of them, I got this job. Their advice and teaching methods helped us a lot. This course is old and needs to be curated again to make students industry-ready.
Other: I like computers and also like everything related to them from small to all of its complexity. The best thing in our course was that in spite of being old, it covered all the things required to make you industry ready if you were attentive. Even the statistics that they taught there was very useful for me in the later course of my job. The latest technology and other things could have been included in that like Python, the latest web frameworks, etc. Events were organised here. We organised some events, while some events were organised in the century fest. Scholarships were provided but only to the OBC, ST and SC category students.

This is a typical government college.
Placements: Companies don't visit the campus for placements. I don't know about the placements of our seniors. You have to look for an internship on your own in the penultimate year. Companies may visit to hire the talented students of other courses, but surely not BCA students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in the college are from the British era. New labs have been built, and Wi-Fi facility wasn't provided in the college. The field in the college is fairly maintained. There are hostels in the campus, and I don't know about their maintenance. There is a library in the college. There is no canteen inside the college.
Faculty: I'm in contact with my faculty members. Like everywhere else, some of the teachers in the college were good, but their teaching style was not that good. Most of the faculty members in the college were temporary as they move from one college to other to deliver lectures, and sometimes, we used to wait for them to listen to their lectures.

Satisfied with the faculty members and lectures, but dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students of any departments. I haven't seen anyone getting placed from this college. However, faculty members and academics are good. In the name of placements, they provide jobs like mechanic, electrician, and tailor. A job fair was organised to offer these kind of roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but the college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility. However, the college provides the library and sports facilities. There is no canteen. The college has sports fields. The infrastructure is of British time. The atmosphere in the class is cool even in the Summer season. As the college is based on the bank of a river, there is a nice view.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of their teaching is very good. They are punctual, and even their teaching method is very satisfactory. Faculty members are very helpful, and they are ready to provide any type of assistance if you need any help from them.

One of the best college of Bihar.
Placements: Students were placed from my batch but their package was not very good. Data analysts and programmers were the posts for which students were selected.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and computer labs are very good. Medical facilities are also good. The hostel is good but not the best and the college campus is very good. There are several trees. Wi-Fi speed is very good and the classrooms are the best. And the library has a wide range.
Faculty: Patna College has the best faculty members. They have the best teachers. Their teaching quality is very good. Concepts are easy to understand because of the best teaching styles adopted by the professors. The curriculum is little old. But teachers teach very good.
Other: Infrastructure can be improved otherwise everything is fine.
