This is a typical government college.

Placements: Companies don't visit the campus for placements. I don't know about the placements of our seniors. You have to look for an internship on your own in the penultimate year. Companies may visit to hire the talented students of other courses, but surely not BCA students.

Satisfied with the faculty members and lectures, but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students of any departments. I haven't seen anyone getting placed from this college. However, faculty members and academics are good. In the name of placements, they provide jobs like mechanic, electrician, and tailor. A job fair was organised to offer these kind of roles.

If you got a chance to other go for it, and if you want to prepare for government exam, it is good.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark since there are little placements for BBA and MBA students. There are no placements for other courses, and if you want to prepare for other competitive exams, then there is a lot of opportunities. There are a lot of good coaching institutes nearby campus.

Knowledge hub for active and regular students.

Placements: There are no placements in our college, not only for us but our seniors too didn't had any placements. Overall, many of the students got internship opportunities in reputed media houses like Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, Hindustan Times, etc. This internship was unpaid or without stipend. But this internship was very efficient and useful for media students.

Good college in Bihar for mass communication.

Placements: There is no placement. Placement rate are Nothing. There are no nay role offered to the students. I did complete internship through the Dainik Jagran Patna. Without any charge. Its means free of cost about 6 month. There are no any offer of any internship.

It is true that there is a lack of proper facilities.

Placements: The placement is not good. Hardly any company came. The environment which is required for the placement is not available. The university has to take on this matter. Earlier some placement is done from this college, but due to not providing the proper environment for the company, they stop to come for the placement.

In 2013, the placements were good with handsome salary package.

Placements: Six companies visited my college for the placement. Different companies offered a different type of role, for example, MS executive, supervisor, marketing executive, back office operation jobs, accounting jobs, etc. The minimum salary package was in between 1.8 LPA to 3 LPA.

Strongly dissatisfied for having poor infrastructure and poor placements.

Placements: Patna College is an old college and came from a poor background. None of the companies come here. It looks like the whole system isn't bothered about the student's future. Here, students can't enhance their creative skills as college doesn't give them any new platform. College administration works like a turtle and seems like a sleeping bear as they don't show any interest towards student's placements. The same faculty doesn't even complete the course on time.

One of the best government colleges in Bihar.

Placements: There was no placement cell in the mass communication department at Patna college. The students used to get their internships by own. But it was compulsory for all the student to do 8-week internships in their specialisation. Every student got the internships, but I can remember during my time not a single student got a stipend. We all worked for free. But I can say theory was good. The teachers were highly skilled and experienced. From my batch, no one got placement except 1-2, most of us opt f...

The college is best in infrastructure, academics, and results.

Placements: As per now, there is no placement cell at Patna College for B.A economics honours students, but there is a plan to set up one very shortly. There is placement in other departments of college like BBA, BMC, etc., which has good placement record over the years.

If you have no option left, then only go for this college. It is nothing compared to DU and JNU.

Placements: No placement cell is available in this college. Even if you do professional courses like BBA and MBA, there will be no scope of placement. No doubt this is the best college in Bihar, but the quality of education in Bihar itself is the worst in the country.

The college had no placements, infrastructure, and extra curriculum, but had most amazing faculty.

Placements: The college had no sort of placements in Patna College. There is no placement cell. If studying at Patna College, one should have no expectations of campus placement. However, the college is a perfect institution to graduate from for students aspiring SSC, UPSC, or another state public commission.

A review of an Heritage College Patna college.

Placements: Patna college is an arts college. We have good campus placements. But most of the students want a government job here. We also have professional courses. We have offered unmatched off-campus placements every year. At a job fair that held every year, hundreds of students got placed.

Satisfied with everything here except the quarrels which happen among hostels.

Placements: There are literally no placements. In this course, you don't get placements directly, or any company does not need a political science student for any job. You have to compete and take a job by yourself. There is no placement cell or anything like that, but you can be assured of the knowledge you would get.

Brief introduction of College.

Placements: This is a famous old college situated near Ganga River. This college offers art & literature courses, so there are no placements like engineering or Diploma colleges. But Sometimes there is a Job fair organised by Bihar Government for the students in the college campus.

A Decent Quality Of Education In An Old Fashioned College.

Placements: About 75% of the students get placements every year, and average salary can range up to 20k to 50k a month, depending on the company & student's qualification and ability. The salary package is a tricky thing, and a below average student can get the placement at 10k a month if he compromises.

An example of a successful college and the way it maintain its prosperity is awesome.

Placements: There is nothing about placement, but anybody can increase their knowledge by doing graduation here. I think anybody can acquire an adequate amount of knowledge after studying from Patna college which helps him in general studies. But about the college placement, there is no such activity.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements are not good at all. If anyone want placements in Patna college, then I will recommend going to other colleges. This is not the right place as I observed. In my batch, only two students got selected from an unknown company. 11% students got the internship from the college.

The college conducts seminar regarding placement at the end of the year. It's good for the students.

Placements: The college is good, and the most important part of this college is, it has the highest number of well-educated professors. They teach you and motivate you for the better career. The college doesn't offer you any placement, but here, you will become strong to do better in the future.
