It is an excellent college.
Placements: Top recruiting companies visited our campus. Internships were not available. Top roles offered were lab assistant, microbiologist in hospitals, and industrial microbiologist in the brewing industry. We had a placement cell where you could apply for placements.
Infrastructure: Everything was available. Wi-Fi was available. The canteen, library, sports room, and gym were available. Labs were available. We had a huge auditorium and computer labs.
Faculty: Our teachers were extremely knowledgeable. They were helpful with exams, assignments, and practicals. They were always available when help was needed. Microbiology is one of the fastest-growing industries nowadays. Semester exams were average.
Other: I chose this course because it had a lot of major roles in health-related aspects, including diseases and other things. I wish there was more fieldwork, like internships in any industry or hospital, that would help us use our bookish knowledge in practical and daily life.

The staff of this college is good.
Placements: More than 75% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 20 LPA. Many companies like Amazon and MNC visit our college to hire students. They interact with various students and offer many jobs. Amazon is the top recruiting company for our course. More than 60% of students get internships in Amazon.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was well modified and had smart classes. The college had facilities such as Wi-Fi, smart boards, laboratories, a library, and a hostel. The library had thousands of updated books. This college has centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi-enabled LCD projectors, tutorial, and computer laboratories.
Faculty: The course was very good. Teachers in our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was perfect. Teachers were always ready to help. But some of the senior faculty members were not good because they did not know how to teach students even sometimes they even do not come to classes to deliver lectures. While some of the teachers were Ph.D. and even double Ph.D. but their knowledge was not good.
Other: I opted for this course for its uniqueness and flexibility. The student ratio was good about 45 students in a class or faculty members were also good enough The faculty members were well qualified and well trained. All had Ph.D. degrees and enough experience. The exam was semester-wise regular held after 6 months. The level of difficulty was high, and the exam was hard than in another college.

It provides good facilities and a learning environment.
Placements: As it was a government college, it does not ensure placements but it provides a good scope in sports and NCC. Students were independent. For students from science side, this college does not provide any placements. They conduct regular career counseling sessions and teachers provide a lot of information regarding careers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was very good. The environment of the library was very peaceful, and it had many books. This college also had a special study room. The laboratories were well furnished with all modern technical instruments like autoclave, incubator, etc. I especially love the ground and swimming pool. The hostels were very safe and provide balanced food.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. They provide brief knowledge about subjects which include many interesting practicals. They contact students personally if they face any problems. The semester exams were not lengthy but it includes tricky questions, but our teachers prepare students to deal with them.
Other: There were many extra curriculum activities like drama, sports, dance, etc.

Pretty satisfied with the staff and curriculum, but not satisfied with the placements.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not offered here. Only a few call centre companies visited our campus for placements. That did not serve any good purpose for the students. Any graduate or post graduate doesn't want to join any call centre job. So we had to search for a good job opportunity by ourselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty decent. However, the restrooms need to be improved. Our classrooms are very well ventilated, but if they could add some air conditioners for summers, that would be really relieving for the students. There is a lot of greenery all around the campus. A lot of small and beautiful parks are available here, and the students can lie or sit there whenever they want.
Faculty: Our faculty members are absolutely remarkable. All the lecturers were very nice, intelligent and humble. So it wasn't tough for the students to grasp the important information about any subject. However, the curriculum could have been improved, and they can add more sports for the students who are not into arts or physical education.
Other: Almost all the amenities offered here are very good.

A brief glance at PGGCGC.
Placements: The companies like Tech Mahindra, Apollo, Wipro come up for the placement drives in our college. There are jobs for BPO, lab testing etc. offered to the students every year, and the rate of internships increase every year. Approximately 60% of the students go for internships every year.
Infrastructure: The college is divided into separate blocks for every stream. Also, it's well-renowned for its auditorium Sabras. The campus is big and full of greenery. Also, the college canteen has a large spacing and seating arrangement. It also consists of 4 gardens for the students and well-established parking spaces for students and teachers.
Faculty: The faculty are well-known and experienced. The college has been ranked number 1 in Chandigarh and also provides a lot of choices in courses and diplomas for science, commerce and arts students. All the undergraduate courses go for 3 years and postgraduates for 2 years.
Other: The campus has a disciplined crowd. It has a free Wi-Fi facility for the students. Many fests are also hosted by the college every year.

Experienced faculty members, good infrastructure with all the basic facilities.
Placements: A number of companies visit the college campus and select students depending upon the potential of a student in their respective courses. The average salary offered is 20-30k per month.
Though placement ratio is not that good and needs to be improved, especially with respect to the life science streams.
Infrastructure: Wide and open classrooms equipped with projectors for digital lectures. Well established laboratories with all basic facilities. Large library, a huge collection of books ranging from languages to science streams, Wi-Fi campus, large ground for various sports activities, a hostel for girls and a cafeteria.
Faculty: The college has well-experienced faculty members. They are friendly and helpful in nature. All are masters in their respective subjects.
The only issue is the student-faculty ratio. A professor has to handle a class of 40-50 student.
Along with conventional methods of teaching, digital methods are also used.
