Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: There were 25 students in our batch. Almost 90% of students got placed in this course. The minimum salary offered was Rs 30,000 per month. The maximum salary offered was Rs 40,000 per month. Top recruiting companies were TCS, etc. Internships were also offered in this course.

Placements: 8 percent students were placed in our college. The highest package in our college is 12 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum and the average package is 7 Lacs per annum. Most of the CSE students get placed.

Placements: Nearly 80% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 15 LPA (in 2022-23), and the lowest package is nearly 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Qualcomm comes to the campus but recruits only CSE guys. Many students got internships.

Placements: Nearly 40-45% of students got placed in companies. There were fewer companies which offer jobs relating to the core. The highest package offered in chemical departments is 7LPA, and the average package is nearly 3-4LPA only, which is too disappointing. Recruiting companies like TCS, Zoho, and MBit will come for recruitment.

Placements: Almost 50% of students have passed out from our batch. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.36 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Zoho, Hexaware, Wipro, LTI, EmbedUR, Capgemini, Kantar, Kaar, and some other companies that visit our campus. Almost 20% of students got internships. Top roles offered are development engineer and assistant development engineer.

Placements: Many knowledgeable students get placed if they have above 60% throughout their academics. Around 2-3 companies hire students with below 60% like Zoho.

Placements: Almost everyone will get a job. We have to be ready for jobs with the skills. About 100 companies visited here as our college turned into a university. We will get even more companies. Irrespective of what branch you are studying, you can get a job if you have skills.

Placements: In our college, almost 60% of students get placed. Top companies like Zoho, Accenture, Acorn, TCS, Bounteous, Latin View, Qualcomm, and M-BIT visited our campus. Almost 40% of students got internships at Zoho and Qualcomm. Top roles offered are software engineer, development, analyst, networking, and call center executive.

Placements: Although, we have studied core subjects, half of them have gone to IT sector and other for higher education. Nearly five to 20 percent of students were able to get internship and thst too ignored by the Department head. Top roles offered are Embedded system developer and Instrumentation engineer in oil and coal fields.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Some good companies visit our college to hire students from chemical engineering course. The good and average percentage of the students from our course get placed every year at the college.

Placements: About 60% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like MRF, L&T and Zoho visit our campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is a designer. The highest salary package offered in our course is 4.15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The college does not provide an internship for students.

Placements: About 70% of the students have got placed in our batch with a minimum salary of 2.75 LPA and 25 LPA. The average salary of this year was increased from 4 LPA to 4.7 LPA this year. Top recruitment companies this year were PayPal, HP, Qualcomm, TCS, Accenture, Zoho etc. The top role offered in our course according to my knowledge as Training and Placement representative is Cloud Automation Engineer in HCL. Almost 15% of the students have got Intern on campus and many got intern outside the campus ...

Placements: Campus placements came for only person with 96%. Others dint got. Larsen and tourbo was the company which came for placement they recruited only one person among all. Package was 5.3 lakhs per annum and nobody got internships in any company. The lowest package was 1lpa.

Placements: Placement activities are average only. Because they show partiality among the students. They are allowing students having high CGPA to attend number of companies. Training officer is not at all responding in a good manner. Comparing to our previous batch, our batch got placed in number of companies. The highest salary offered is 5 Lacs per annum and the lowest salary is 2 Lacs per annum.

Placements: History of placements for the civil department is very meagre. Not more than 15 students were selected out of 70 from my batch and my seniors as well. Companies visited for the placements in civil engineering are Shapoorji Palloonji Constructions Pvt, L&T and TCS. In PEC placements were good only for ECE, CSE and EEE, and very less for the rest of them.

Placements: Senior batches got more job offers than the current batch and the job opportunities are reducing batch by batch. The average salary is about 20000 INR. 80 percent got placed in TCS and other software companies. There were no core companies this time. Nothing more than that actually.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA and the average salary package was 6 LPA. Around 70% of our batchmates got placed in our college. Top recruiting companies were Dell, Deloitte, and Powerica. Internships were not offered in our college. Students have to search it nearby Chennai or Bangalore. ECE students got IT placements.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Mphasis, etc. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.26 LPA.
