Dissatisfied with the higher officials and facilities for low placements.

Placements: There is a 1-year internship in the course. But the placements are a little low because the course is new and started 4 years ago. There are seats that should be given to eligible students but jobs are given to low-grade workers in order to give them a low salary and keep the government fund for themselves.

Physiotherapy in PGIMER.

Placements: Every year, 15 students enrol in the course. Internships last four and a half years, with four years of study followed by six months of internship. Every month, students receive a stipend of 500 rupees. Internships are available at the institute in a variety of wards and departments. Clinical trials work best here.

B.Sc. nursing in PGIMER.

Placements: 100% placements within PGI Chandigarh hospital with 1 Lac salary. In 4th year, a 6 months internship is provided, with Rs 14k as salary. As government jobs are available here, private companies don’t come here. According to students’ wish, they are even sent abroad.

Our college provides a different way of leaning.

Placements: As it was a new course in the institute and no student was passed out. Masters of this course have a decent placement. It has a great scope in foreign countries and here in upcoming times.

The best an audiology student can get.

Placements: PGIMER does not organize for a campus placement facility but all the students who pursue their education from PGIMER are able to get good jobs very easily. In my case I was offered a package of 4.5 LPA in the first interview I gave. Their is a tremendous learning in the institute and by the end of 4 years a students turns into a professional. They can get jobs easily in the hearing aid clinics or hearing aid manufacturing companies.
