Worth studying at Podar. Satisfied after completing my degree course at Podar college.

Placements: There are excellent placements with good packages. The highest salary was approximately 30,000 per month. Tata capital Aufklaren, KPMG, Deloitte etc. were the companies that visit our college every year. Accounts related and marketing related jobs were offered too. The placement cell at the college works very hard and tries it's best to see that all the students have equal opportunities to get placed.

In Podar, I had the best 5 years of the college.

Placements: R.A Podar is Mumbai's top commerce college. Placements opportunities are diverse and multiple. Companies like Ernst and young, price water house Cooper's, KMPG, Deloitte, Tata capital, Zomato visit the college for placements. The college is very open about the students working and studying together.

A place to grow and develop holistically.

Placements: The top recruiters from the diverse sectors find the talent. Right from the consulting to the marketing, you'll find the companies offering the various roles with the decent packages. Podar being one of the leading institutes in the commerce space have proved to be the right launchpad for the aspirants. The companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMC, PwC, Axis Risk, Nielsen, Tata Capital, ICICI Prudential were a few recruiters. The packages ranging from 2.5 to 6 LPA is offered.

Podar is for studious and sincere ones only

Placements: Placements were good. I missed one placement which was just put up on the board near the admin office of TISS. As I was under the impression of agencies only coming after exams, so check every board of the college if you really wanna get into some good firms. The college has a record of getting the highest number of rankers in the university. We had 7 rankers in the top 10 list in our batch. There were around 6-7 companies as far I remember companies had come up and mainly they wanted managerial...

Satisfied with the curriculum

Placements: Placements were good for our batch. 50 percent students got placed. The companies like E&Y, KPMG, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Zomato, Crisil and Axis Bank visited our campus with the average salary of 5 lakhs per annum. Companies were offering sales roles. Only 20 percent students got the internship with the average package of 10000/-.

Best Commerce college in Mumbai.

Placements: The committee for placement in our college is called "Placement Cell". They give students with appropriate guidance on how to face interviews and inform about the various companies that would be recruiting students. Almost 90% of the students will undoubtedly get placements from our college. Placements are conducted to hire the third year students and Article ship students (Those pursuing CA). Every year firms such as Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PWC recruit students from our college with a very good...

Good things - Reputation, feel, crowd, knowledge, exposure. Bad things - No placements, infra, food.

Placements: Our college didn't host any kind of placements for the students. If my memory is correct, just couple of people got into some company through some contacts and that's it. For placements, Podar College is a complete no. The percentage of students placed was so low that it can't be measured too. One guy got into EY, is what I remember. About internships too, the same thing was there, but majorly, we didn't have an internship kind of course structure, so the college is not to be blamed. ...

Amazing place to study in!

Placements: The placements in my batch were decent but were mainly clerical or accounts jobs in back offices. While a lot of people did manage to land themselves decent places, the profiles offered were largely dis-satisfactory. The salaries offered were in-line with the kind of jobs available but a little lower than our expectations. The average salary offered was between Rs. 10-13,000 rupees per month.

RA Podar - The name carries some weight.

Placements: There are placement programs and initiatives in our college but 100 percent placement is not guaranteed. There exist placement programs even for apprenticeship training of three years for CA students wherein hirers include the Big 4 accounting firms - Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC.

Satisfied overall, yet still a lot of room for improvement.

Placements: No placements took place. There was just one placement drive that took place for students pursuing chartered accountancy. However, I do not know of anyone who got placed from the college. Other than this, I am not aware of any placements that happened through the college.

Review of R A Podar College.

Placements: When I was in college there were a lot of big firms including the big 4s coming in for recruitment of CA interns. The stipend offered was as per the industry standard. My cousin who is doing BMS from the same college just got placed in a top company from the campus placement program. She has been offered a package 5-6 Lakhs PA which is really good to start with for a graduate.

The highest package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average package stood at 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course included Accenture, TCS, Siemens, and local companies like Park+. .

Our college is good in terms of academics.

Placements: We have a placement cell. Some students got very good placements in top companies like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 26,000 per month. The BMS course provides higher placements compared to the B.Com course. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, PWC, Deloitte, etc., visit our college.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placements, and infrastructure.

Placements: Top-level placements take place in R.A Podar College. There is a placement cell in my college that is run by the students for the students so it will help them to get their potential. This is a great college for budding CA's.

Placements: In the B.Com course, if the student has studied the 11th and 12th in Podar College itself then they can get in-house admission to complete the B.Com. For other students who did not study junior college in Poddar, the cut-off percentage would normally vary to 80-90%. There are placements offered by the placement committee of this college.

Review of R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, S.P. Mandali.

Placements: Overall, a good number of students opt for placements, while the rest of the students opt for further studies. Students who opt for placements get jobs in companies which are performing well in the market like TCS, HDFC, etc. Initially, roles offered have different nomenclature depending on the companies like finance analyst, process analyst, etc.

Big and spacious library.

Placements: The placements were good. Many big companies come to campus for recruitment purpose. Since our college is a commerce college, most of the job profiles were related to taxation, accounting and risk profiles. To get selected we had to undergo aptitude trsts, group discussion and interview rounds.

Placements: Most of the students got placed from our batch. Top recruiters like EY, Delloite, KPMG, etc., come to our campus. The salary package offered is up to 4 LPA for undergraduate students, which is very good for the start of the career. For internships, companies like Viacom 18, Reliance and Aditya Birla Sunlife visit our campus.

It is a good college for students who are doing CA.

Placements: At a graduation level, students do not focus much on placements. Everyone is busy with the master's or doing CA from this college. Still, placements are comparatively good. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA.
