B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology - Batch of 2026
3.8

Faculty is helpful, the university and college provides exposure, but placements are not that good.
Placements: I am from the 2023 batch of Zoology, and I'll be passing out in 2026. The number of students I've seen placed till now is average, but that's for the commerce courses students like B.Com (Hons) economics, etc. For this course you get a placement after completing all 4 years in B.Sc. Hons Zoology from the college, and that placement is very average too. Like you can earn from 30k-40k per month while doing research. The internships you do are mostly independent; at most, teachers inform you about certain internships, and then you'll have to see the rest. Top roles you can obtain from this are mostly from the research field; most of the students opt for higher education, where you could get more exposure, knowledge, and skills.
Infrastructure: Compared to the other Delhi University colleges, the campus is pretty decent. Hostel facilities are mostly for the students whose hometowns are quite far from Delhi. The hostel has good Wi-Fi, a mess, and a gaming area. The library is two floors and has a variety of gyms available where students work out according to the hours assigned for male and female. The canteen is pretty good, and you get quality food under budget.
Faculty: The teachers I would say from my department, Zoology, are very helpful, be it them guiding through academics, societies, and many more activities. Semester exams are not that difficult; you can score well if you start studying 1 month before their commencement, so you also get ample time for preparing for other entrance exams too.
Other: Since it belongs to the hub of festivals, Delhi University, Ramjas College, that too in the North Campus, provides decent exposure, and by the arrival of the festive season, you're booked for the coming festivals and events. Like we had Ramjasotsav last year and also the annual fest named Mosaic, we had Nikita Gandhi perform for the second, and being in the center, you also can attend festivals in other North Campus colleges like Hindu, Khalsa, etc. Connectivity is very good.

Review of Ramjas College, University of Delhi through my eyes.
Placements: Physics hons students do not get any placements. Apart from that, our college provides internship opportunities in various prestigious research institutes. For example, one of my senior friends secured an internship at DRDO which is like a dream for science enthusiasts.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms are spacious but there is a huge problem with internet connectivity on college campus. It is nearly impossible to make and attend calls. Library is quite good. The food quality of food in the college canteen is very poor. We avoid eating at canteen. For sports, we have a big ground with a basketball court and also a gym complex as well.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are always ready to solve any query. They are also highly qualified with most of them having their higher education from IITs and other renowned research institutes. Our college has probably the largest physics faculty members in whole DU campus. The curriculum is focused on giving practical knowledge of subjects to students rather than just making them cream the books just for the sake of grades. The exams are easy to moderately difficult. If we are consistent in class then exams would be easy.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in physics. I want to have my career in research in physics subject so I kept this college as my top priority. It is because of experienced and highly qualified physics faculty members who would provide excellent guidance. Three courses can be improved if the lab equipment is replaced or repaired because the condition of the lab instruments is not good. The college is well connected to roads as well as it is just 1km away from the metro station.

In short, college is nice. The crowd is nice. If you want placements, then course is not worthy.
Placements: Placements in this particular course are not up to mark and in order to get placement, either you have to do a Masters or appear for placements on your own. No prominent companies come for placements. If I were to show the percentage of students getting placement, it would be 10%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well maintained; classes don't have AC but conditioning is good; labs are in good condition, not perfect condition; and staff is really supportive and helpful. Hostels are available for both girls and boys and they have proper security and water facilities. Hostels are provided on the basis of the merits of students.
Faculty: The faculty is good and the curriculum is mainly based on PCM class twelve. Exams are not that difficult if you study for at least one month. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and the quality of their teaching is good. Semester exams are easy at a level of 12th grade PCM, not that difficult.
Other: In order to appear for government exams, I chose this course. There are many areas for improvement. Cultural and annual events were nicely organized last year.

Our college has very good infrastructure and has the biggest building with 5 floors.
Placements: Many different companies offer internships on campus, but most of them are through hackathons and specific courses that students have to apply for or win. Companies like Google provide placements for students who have skills. Many startups also visit the college.
Infrastructure: All books are available in the library, and it is easy to access them. There is a projector in every classroom in the new building. There is good lighting in classrooms. Our college provides facilities for sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, and a football ground. I don't know about any club that is run by students.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is nominal. I am from the civil engineering department where there are 8-9 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced in their various expertise. I like some professors named Pratyush and Dr. Bipin Prajapati who always guide students for all the career-related doubts and many more.
Other: There is one cultural annual fest named Mosaic held in our college in March. Many other fests are held by various societies like Enactus, etc.

Best college for sports in Delhi University.
Placements: Ramjas College has a decent placement record, with 74 UG students placed in 2023. The median package offered to undergraduate students was INR 6.05 LPA. Some of the top companies that have recruited from Ramjas College include: Deloitte, Wipro, EY, Morgan Stanley, PwC, Accenture, Mother Dairy, etc. So it's a good thing about the Ramjas.
Infrastructure: Ramjas College's infrastructure includes various facilities to support students' academic, extracurricular, and personal growth. It has a huge library with lots of books and AC & medical facilities and huge playgrounds. The sports system of Ramjas College is renowned. There's a huge basketball court, two volleyball courts, one football ground, and a badminton court. So for the students who are interested in sports, congratulations, Ramjas is for you.
Faculty: There are a lot of renowned and expert professors who boast a diverse and accomplished faculty across various departments. They transform students into quality people. Almost 1:20 faculty-student ratio who guides students verily. The exams are tough, but faculty members made it easy with quality education.
Other: The love of literature was the only reason to choose B.A. (Hons) in Hindi. Indian literature, especially Hindi literature, has an amazing view of life. And the campus is just nice and amazing with a lot of fun as well, including fests and events.

B.Sc. in Life Science - Batch of 2024

Overall, a mixed experience. Campus is good. Crowd is fine. But, not all facilities are good.
Placements: Very few students are placed. There are no placements in my course and no companies come for my course. There are no good internships. It's hard to get scholarships. The college schedule is not working towards that. Very few people join internships, and there are no placements after graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good but there's no hostel facility. That's a big problem for students, as 80% of them come from various states. They have to pay a large amount of money in PGs and for food as well. It's really expensive for students to live near campus.
Faculty: Very few teachers are helpful. As per my experience, I came from north-east India. I faced many problems in college while learning things but the teachers were not helpful. Most of them were rude. So I lost interest in studying, and most students face that.
Other: The college fee is good for me. It's affordable and the crowd is also fine for me.
