This campus is student-friendly, and there are no cases of ragging at all.
Placements: Our batch is the foundation batch hence there are no placements as of now. There are 65 students in our course. Students will be the first batch to graduate from the college. The course is good for someone who is interested in pharmacy.
Infrastructure: The college is new, but the facilities provided are good. Our department has a library which has all the books for the course. It has computers as well as a Wi-Fi connection to the computers. There is a whole different building for pharmacy hence there are a lot of classrooms i.e 6 are in use currently. It has 2 laboratories, 1 audiovisual hall. The staff is qualified and helpful. The hostel is on the campus and very close to the college which saves time. The mess is on the ground floor and the quality of food at the mess is good, the hygiene is followed and cleanliness is maintained at the mess as well as at the hostel. The mess provides breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner. The hostel has 4 floors and there are 46 rooms on each floor. There are 4 beds in each room, one fan at the center, 4 cupboards, 1 tube light. The girls' hostel has washrooms attached. The hot water for bathing has to be taken from the tap in the corridor. Hot water comes in the morning and evening. There is a cleaning staff for room cleaning. The hostel gates close at 8:45 PM and open directly in the morning for safety reasons. Rector stays at the hostel itself. There is also a common induction at the hostel for cooking purposes and drinking water taps are also outside in the corridor on each floor. The water is heavy and bathing water is salty due to geographic location. The boy's hostel is also of 4 floors with 46 rooms on each floor. There are common washrooms and rest facilities as same as mentioned above. There is a playing ground, for cricket, a volleyball net and a gym in the process. There is a hospital attached to the campus. Therefore the medical facility is very good. The canteen serves a variety of food including chinese, dosa, sandwich, paav bhaji, etc. Vegetarian thali is also available. The canteen is very hygienic and clean, the drinking water served is also hygienic. The canteen is affordable but currently, non-vegetarian is not available on the campus. The mess is pure vegetarian as well.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The language of the answer is English for exams but the syllabus is taught in Marathi, Hindi, and English for better understanding. The course curriculum is relevant and it does make the student market-ready. The lectures are taken on time and so are the exams. The difficulty of paper is average to prepare the students for final exams. The pass percentage is 100% till now up to the 3rd year.
Other: The events are conducted for all the important dates and festivals like there is a flag hoisting on Republic day as well Independence Day, Holi and Rang Panchami, there is Ganesh Utsav on the campus, all the important dates according to WHO such as World Cancer Day, AIDS day have events for raising awareness. The college has a huge fest named Mrutyunjay, there are acts, dance performances, singing, mono acts, the chief guests are called Kunal Ganjawala came in 2020 for the fest, there is a DJ night, food stalls, snacks. The institute has an event management committee named Mrutyunjay who manages all the events. The scholarships for OPEN, EWS, SEBC, NT or ST or SC, OBC are given by the government. The college is highway touch so there are only 2-3 small shops outside the campus but Zomato, Swiggy, and Jiomart delivery are available, and there is a supermarket in Kopargaon main market. There is one pharmacy and one general store on the campus. Transportation is very expensive as the only mode of transport available is rickshaw and college to main Kopargaon is distance. For affordable transport one has to walk at least 1.5 km to puntamba phata where one can catch an ST bus or rickshaw. The station is also far away so the rickshaw fare from campus to station is Rs 100 minimum for one person. So it is better to bring a scooter or a bike as there is a petrol pump just outside the campus, and this way it would also be convenient. The campus is under CCTV surveillance 24X7 and also there is a watchman always. The campus is still new and hence there are many structures and roads under construction but the campus is very lively, safe, and education-friendly. There are many extra-curricular activities every now then. There are library hours at night for studying as well.
