The college has good infrastructure and provides quality education. The college offer genuine placement and has supportive faculty. Crowd is friendly in nature. College provides ample space for extracurricular activities. The college is situated at the outskirts of the city which makes it difficult for the students to commute. Administration is also not supportive as needed.
I joined this college in August 2011 for a 4 year B.Tech course in C.S.E. The overall faculty for the 1st year, i.e. Applied Science is good which is common to each trade. Then in the 2nd and 3rd year, I was put into my core CS field and the faculty was the same which, did not please me much. Some of the teachers were good but some were really disastrous. During the 4th year, I got placed into WIPRO and am currently working for the same. My overall experience was average at the college needs imp...
I studied there in 2014 batch. First of all campus infrastructure is good. Faculty is qualified, although not highly experienced, but still they can teach well. Campus is quite big. Fee structure should be considered as a con because it is quite high for a middle class family. There are many extracurricular activities that a person can choose. Other campus under same management is the kharar campus. Fees and study level is same, but placements are way more than Ropar campus.
College is good .Infrastructure is also very good. At our time placement is also good. But yes there are some fake companies also invited by our college that whole the process to place in fake company waste our lot of times. However there were few good companies also. I study in ECE and we have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty members. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to student.
Rayat institute of engineering and technology has well equipped labs. Location of college is very good. Placements were average. Crowd and campus life was also average. Hostel facilities were good. Classes were not very interactive in nature. Administration provided personality development classes for placements.
Near Chandigarh-being near city, one can expect to have a good life out of campus as well Deemed University- being a deemed university, one can expect quality education Cons-Average Faculty- faculty can be of higher quality Average facility- facilities need to be upgraded and of higher quality as competition with other colleges is increasing day by day.
It is very good college. Faculty of college is very good. All faculty members be it professor or HOD all are very nice. All very cooperative. They are very educated as well. It’s not like that we went to college and came back after attending lectures, other activities are also there like tech fest sports meet. They take students on industrial visit so that they get practical knowledge as well.
Very bad college, in start they show you friendly behavior, but then, no one helps you, other charges are more. Faculty is not helpful, instruments are not available in the labs, and you should not join this college. It is a very bad college, teachers are not up to the mark.
Most of the lecturers are Punjabi there, so make sure you know a little bit of Punjabi before taking admission. The faculty is good means they ave good command over their concerned subjects. The infrastructure is good and the the scenic beauty around hostel is outstanding. 40 % weightage is give to internal and 60 % is for external exams. Most of the companies coming for campus placements are fake but not all, so make sure before wasting your full day that it that worth or not.
Placements: Our college had very high placements and it was one of the best placement colleges. Our college offered the highest salary packages to students who had interestingly learned coding and good coding skills. I had been placed in Cognizant. The overall experience was very good and went very well.
Placements: Mega Placement Drives were organised in the university. Package offered by companies was 1.2 lacs to 30 lacs per annum. During this period many companies were visited in university like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Data 64, Artech etc. All the interested students must be participated in all the rounds which had been offered by the visited companies in the university. In my batch 95 students were placed in their desired companies. Most of the companies offered stipend during the internship. The...
Placements: It is the best college for placements. It has a partnership with many companies like Google, Infosys, Audi, Mercedes, Royal Enfield, Yamaha, Airtel, Reliance, Tata, Honda, Oracle, Tech Mahindra, Sony, Skoda, Ford, Idea, Reliance Jio and lots of companies.
