Extremely pleased and satisfied with the overall student life I had in this college.

Placements: As a student belonging to Bachelor's of Arts course, I would say that my college has provided a satisfactory experience in the areas of academic and extracurricular activities. I belong to the 2022 batch, and the course which I had opted for B.A. Psychology is a 3 year course, comprising of 6 semesters. In the primary year of the course, students are provided with 6 subjects of their choice (Psychology/History, Sociology/Philosophy, Economics/Political Science, Hindi/Marathi, Foundation Course, ...

Our college is more than average. It has a good infrastructure, but improvements are still required.

Placements: Our course has a high percentage of females. The fee of the course is Rs. 10,000, which can be divided into two instalments, i.e., Rs. 6,000 and Rs. 4,000. Cognizant Technology is one of the companies which hires B.A graduates. B.A graduates can pursue a successful career as an HR manager, marketing, executive assistant/manager and many more roles.

Learning is fun at Somaiya Arts College.

Placements: About 42% of the students got placed in placement drives in 2019 from our class. A massive job fest was held in April 2019 where companies and firms visited our college for placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 38,500 for the role of managing supervisor by Tata Consultancy Services. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month, and the average salary offered was about Rs. 15,000-16,000 per month.

It is an awesome college for students who want to study and interested in taking part in the events.

Placements: Our college provides good placements with very good salary packages as per the industry to every stream. Mostly the MNCs come for recruiting students. Placements start in starting of the third year of the degree. Even placements committee organises internal placements, which include small and startup companies.

SK Somaiya college is a good college for studying.

Placements: Our batch was quite good, and a pleasant staff spread happiness. The security staff was very good during my time and the vice principal Brengeza is very frank, which makes the students share their problems with her. Good placement options are available at the end of your course.

Best Infrastructure and Facilities, Good Sports Opportunities and Lush Green Campus, Best in Class F

Placements: The College has a Placement Cell, which is one of a kind and provided students with good quality placements from all courses. Big companies to small startups all of companies have come in college to provide quality internships and placements to students during the course time and even to final year students. Around 183 Placements were placed in the year 2016 and more than 250 placements & internships placed in 2017. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Stradver and ma...

Not at all satisfied with the faculty, average placements, good infrastructure and fests.

Placements: The placements in the college are not so good. Maximum 3-4 students got selected from our class who were toppers, with a package of just Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. The companies that provided internships were actually event management companies. All the help required was taken from the placement cell of the college.

A perfect college to study in for a degree course.

Placements: Companies do come for placements to the college, but usually small firms. Hiring is good in the college, but it depends on us. I got placed in Direct, and I am pretty happy with my work life. The highest package offered was 3 LPA. Wipro, ICICI, Direct, Hero, Aditya-Birla and many more companies come for recruiting. Roles offered by the companies are as a business development executive, analyst, etc. Internships are very less in the college. The highest stipend offered was Rs 3,000-4,000 per mon...

Absolutely delighted because of the faculty, campus life and continuous guidance by our professors.

Placements: The placements offered are good. However, you need to be a regular student since attendance plays a very important role. There are good job offers from companies based outside India too. Around 70% of the students were placed since others opted to go for post graduate studies. The average package is around 2 Lacs per annum which is good for a fresher. Companies like TCS, Aster healthcare, etc. Offer placements every year. The roles can vary from marketing to back office. I am not aware about int...

Three years at Somaiya was lit.

Placements: The placements for the current batch are yet to take place. The placements offered for the last batch were good. Plenty of students got the internships in the various companies with a minimum salary of Rs. 7,000 per month. The roles are ranging from customer service representative to sales and marketing. All the major roles in arts field were available. The placement cell of the college came up with a successful event.

Very satisfied with the college, amazing infrastructure, and good teachers.

Placements: There are a lot of companies who come to my college and offers placement. Companies such as Tata, Reliance, Snapdeal, Vodafone etc. have been offering jobs in this college. I was selected for Reliance (BPO- inbound process), but as I had to pursue further studies I could not work with that company. I was offered with Rs.11,000/- net salary, and the gross salary was Rs.14,000/-.

I am satisfied and astonished because of the placement opportunity, faculty, and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement opportunities are good on the campus. We got banks, small companies, internship, and much more. The placement cell members have done well. The placements help the students to carve their future. Almost, every student got placed in the reputed company, and the steps are easy to apply for the campus placement.

Placements: There are multiple companies engaged with S.K. Somaiya College of Arts Science and Commerce. Last year, when we had placements, the companies that were here for hiring were as follows Infosys, L&T, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, I-Gate and Deloitte (it was an interview call, not in the college).

Can't expect a lot of facilities but it is a good campus.

Placements: Very few companies visit the college for placements and offer very less package. Most of the companies are startup and less than five years of industry presence and not sure whether they can offer permanent jobs.

Not only academics, but overall, a great personality development. Just grab the opportunity.

Placements: Placements for other courses are not so good, but placements for the IT sector are excellent in this college. Recently, we have started a placement cell in our college that will help other students to get internships and good job opportunities and it has been a major success. We have also organized a placement fest in which we approached 25-30 companies of various sectors.
