Course Curriculum Structuring at S.M.J.N Post Graduate College for B.Com

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered about the course curriculum structuring at S.M.J.N Post Graduate College for B.Com:

    * Lack of relevance: One reviewer mentioned that the course curriculum "does not make students industry-ready" and is not relevant to the current market trends.
    * No timetables or regulations: Another reviewer stated that there are no timetables or regulations governing the curriculum, which may lead to inconsistencies and lack of structure.
    * Teaching quality: Although the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, one reviewer noted that the teaching quality is average, indicating room for improvement.
    * Average skill levels: The same reviewer mentioned that the teachers' knowledge and skills are average, which might impact the overall learning experience.

Overall, while the college has a good faculty, the course curriculum seems to be lacking in terms of relevance and structure. However, individual results may vary, and more research would be needed to confirm these findings.

I am satisfied with our college and its educational facilities.
Placements: More than 60% of students got placed in our course. Some well-known and top companies like Tata, Mahindra, Amazon, etc., visit our college. Companies provide internships to many students.
Infrastructure: We have well-furnished classrooms. They have high-speed Wi-Fi which helps students to get proper knowledge. The hostel facilities are not available in our college. Our college provides sports and medical facilities.
Faculty: All teachers are very well-qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. They are highly experienced. They behave well with students. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because after completing this course, I want to do an MBA. Our college conducts games very well for students to grow and take part in university games.

No placement criteria as such so. Merely 20% of students get a good package.
Placements: There is no such placement procedure inn our college neither they had conducted any internship programmes in our college. No such recruitment companies and I would say only 3 out 10 students get a good package after graduating from this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is poor. Although B.Com students have a new building which is built recently, other than that the rest of the college's infrastructure is out dated. Hygeine is average and maintenance is below average. Sports facilities are pretty good all the equipments are available for athletes as well as any other sport player .
Faculty: The faculty, the pedagogy is worthy of appreciation. Students are taught in such a way that they can practically apply the knowledge grabbed in their respective fields. To name some teachers first name that comes to mind is Dr. Sunil Batra sir commerce dept head and now the principal of the college; his exemplary way of teaching and deep knowledge to the core and crux of the subject makes every student engaged and inclined towards study. The course provided here is fully knowledge based but curriculum somewhat still needs to be updated as per the current happening and reforms.
Other: Apart from the daily routine of academic based lectures, various events comprise a part of extra curricular activities here such as sports day, elocution, debate, cultural programmes including dancing, singing, drama, poetry and a lot more which fills the campus life with full of excitement, as students get a chance to showcase their talent and zeal to follow their hobbies transforming into passion.

If you like to study, man, you have a good option to choose it.
Placements: Various kind of job melas are organised in the university for providing better placement to the students. The education is very best in this college; you can find good teachers at this place. Education is very important, so select a good place for it.
Infrastructure: It's a kind of government college, so you might just be satisfied with the infrastructure. The infrastructure is not very good, but the dedication to get existing place is good. There is a playground for different kinds of sports, and extracurricular activities are also performed here.
Faculty: For graduation, we all have 6 semesters, with exams twice a year. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good. There are many kinds of courses provided for graduation as well as post-graduation in this college.
Other: It's a good place for having your education here.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of infrastructure, facilities and placements in 2015.
Placements: SMJN PG college does not provide many options for internships or placements. In our batch, no student got placed. For B.Com there were no top recruiting companies. No internships were provided to any student of our course and batch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was not good. Classrooms, washrooms and Ground was dirty. Poor Management, no Wi-Fi facility. Canteen food was not up to the mark. The library had books of almost all subjects. Games and sports events were conducted every year. The annual function was also conducted every year.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching was quite good. Teachers were helpful. They provide assignments assistance to students and proper guidance But the course curriculum was not relevant. And it does not make students industry-ready.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of placements and infrastructure provided here.
Placements: Placements are very poor in this college. None of the students got placed in the year 2017. Internship opportunities are not provided by our college. None of the top roles is offered in this course in our college. I had a very bad experience regarding placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was quite good in our college, but it can't be satisfactory for students who really want to learn something. Classrooms are in poor conditions. There are air-conditioners on the campus, labs, etc. Wi-Fi facility has been provided, but sometimes it does not work. The hostel is not provided for outsiders.
Faculty: Faculty members here are quite helpful. They always tried to help students in subjects in which they are weak and motivate them for their future achievements. Sometimes faculty members are very rude to students. However, they were good and quite knowledgeable.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to explore my self in the finance field and also become one of the finest employees in the BFSI sector.
