At the doctoral level, SPJIMR offers a full-time Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). All shortlisted candidates are required to appear for a Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and a Personal Interview conducted by the institute. The final shortlisting panel will consider candidates' academic qualifications, work experience, profile, motivation, recommendations and fitness with the institute's research profile along with their mission. Candidates are also required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) for the SPJIMR FPM course along with their research proposal.

Q: What is the selection criteria for FPM at SP Jain?
FPM shortlists candidates based on their entrance exam scores and performance in the personal interview round. The process begins with reviewing the application forms and Research Proposal. The shortlisted applicants go through a two-stage interview process – Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interviews. Research Aptitude Test consists of two parts – General Aptitude and Research Aptitude. Once selection is done, provisional admission letters are issued to the selected candidates.

Candidates must pass master’s degree, or an integrated first-class master’s degree in any discipline, or professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, or CS, with a minimum of 60% aggregate to apply for SP Jain FPM programme.
