Honest reviews about SSIMS&RC.
Placements: 150 students are in our batch and 200 students from the junior batch. All the students complete their internship in our college for which we are not paid as interns since it was already mentioned previously at the time of college selection during our KEA option entry.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is amazing. We have lecture theaters, library, laboratories, classrooms, auditorium, playground, gym, hostel, and great campus. We have two hostels: one is the NRI hostel and the other is Sarayu hostel. In the NRI hostel, there are 2-sharing and single rooms, with AC or without AC and attached bathrooms. Mess food is average. Non-veg is not given.
Faculty: Excellent faculty members, highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have good teaching, just that they use PowerPoint all the time, and there is less chalk and talk. The curriculum is good, it really makes students good doctors. The difficulty of exams is average.
Other: I chose MBBS because my ambition was to become a doctor and was influenced by the saying "Service to mankind is service to God." I wish the CBME curriculum is removed because one cannot study all systems at a time. There are many events and fests celebrated in our college: we have Inauguration Day, Student Union Day, College Day, Sports Day, Ethnic Day, etc.

It is a good private medical college with some advantages and disadvantages.
Placements: About 150 students from every batch get placed. The highest salary offered by USMLE was Rs. 10,000 per month for us, and the lowest salary offered by PHC in the government sector as DMO was Rs. 45,000 per month. The average salary offered for the MBBS ranges only from Rs. 60,0000-70,000 per month. The top role offered in our course is a district medical officer after completing the CME exam. We got internships from our college for only 1 year without stipend.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good affordable hostel, bad mess and a digital library with 30 computers with the online facility. There is a common canteen for all students, and a separate canteen is not provided for medical professionals. Indoor games are good.
Faculty:
Staff members are mostly rude as we have to depend on them for our course completion. Many times staff members even threat us that they fail us in final exams. Teachers were well qualified, helpful and also knowledgeable. Teaching was on par with MCI standards. The course curriculum was relevant, but clinical exposure provided was really bad. We used to write fakes as interns, and even PGs used to write fakes and case sheets. So students were not industry-ready.
Other: The best thing about MBBS graduation is people trust us regarding their life. You will get much satisfaction after the recovery of patients. I wish that our college should provide more friendly teachers in our course and also better clinical exposure. Extracurricular activities conducted here are on par with national institutes. Ravi sir and non-teaching staff members are the best in our college.

Review of S.S. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre.
Placements: Almost about 75% of students are placed. It's not about placement in medical sciences. It's almost how much you score in PG, and that's pretty well. People do score and do get PG seats and average PG seats of surgery or ortho, but it's not that great, also when compared to carbon colleges.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very great because the campus is almost 170 acres and has too many very big grounds. The campus is huge. It has got a hospital, and also it has collapsed with Sparsha Emergency and also Rao Heart Center.
Faculty: The faculty is great. There are very good teachers and lecturers who teach us very well. They understand us personally, and the exams are as usual connected by the RHS, and there will be internal certificates connected by the college.
Other: See if you're interested in medical sciences; it's very good. You have to start studying from the beginning. So basically, if you're clearly interested in medicine, then only opt for this field, or else it will be a hectic one.
