SRNMN College of Applied Science, Shivamogga affiliated to Kuvempu University.
Placements: Placements are great and many popular companies participate in choosing the passed-out candidates. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, HP, Mahindra, and many more have got placement from this college. It’s a great choice of college; there are no worries about placement.
Infrastructure: Currently, they have only a girls' hostel. Labs are great, library facilities are available, and classrooms have a great environment for studies. The campus and canteen are nice, and sports facilities are also available. The celebration of the annual day is also great, with many functions that take place showcasing different cultures, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very kind and helpful; they will clear any doubt you have anytime. They are well-trained and qualified, with good experience in teaching. The semester exams will be at a medium level, and the college prepares students well for exams.
Other: I chose this career because I was interested in learning about computer science so much. I needed to go for engineering, but because of income status, I couldn't. But I am happy with this career as well.

I strictly do not recommend this college for students who are looking for a good college in Shimoga.
Placements: Not even 1% of students are placed in our course and their is no campus selection at this college. And there are no internship programs available at this college. And the students who studied in our batch, including the other batch, had no talent for programming languages. We used to understand subjects better through YouTube.
Infrastructure: There are average facilities and infrastructure available. And there is no poor Wi-Fi or lab. Only around 20 computers are there for students (more than 400 students are there). When it comes to hostels and food facilities, hostel facilities are average, and maintenance is not up to par. The food is also average in the hostel. Less interest is shown in sports and games.
Faculty: Only 30% of the teaching staff in the computer science department are helpful. Others are not even interested in teaching regularly. No, the students are not even ready for industry. The pass percentage is approximately 70% and the semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in technological courses and programming.
There are many more things that can be done to improve the courses at this college.
Only 2-3 events per year, surroundings are good, Adhyaya fest is performed, and campus crowd is huge.

Placements: 80 percent of students were there in our batch
Bsc zoology offers many career options such as msc , clinical embryology etc...
College offers many subjects such as CS, physics chemistry mathematics and all
It is govt and aded college
Admission are direct without any enterence exam
And based on Merits list depends on score of puc
Infrastructure: Labs contains all the equipments necessary for students there are big labs and classrooms are large
Wifi also available
**Library :: The college library is amazing it have books from edition
Our college hostel contain all the facilities such as beds fans drinking water heigenic food etc
Faculty: Teachers are well in teaching help whenever we ask
There are 6 semesters 75 percent attendence is compalsary
There will be exam fee per semester
Semester Exams are stricts no cheating and all
60 is the pass percentage
College offers qualified teachers and the special thing is About intresting assignments topics
Field visit at last semester is amazing
Other: I wanted to study msc so choose it .. because kuvempu is best in pg courses
College fest is of 2 days
One can have opportunity to join in cultural events and all
NCC NSS R&R also there with 5 percent reservation quota

Review of Sahyadri Science College,Kuvempu University.
Placements: More than 1,000 students passed out in 2023. Most of them went for higher studies like PG, MCA, and M.Sc. Some students got government jobs. Many others are working for a company, and few of them went for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It grabs students to come to college properly. Every lab is well-facilitated. Our college has a huge library. It has several books to read books, newspapers, notes, and old question banks.
Faculty: All faculty members are very good and very helpful to students. They provide quality education. The non-teaching staff is not good. The syllabus includes theory only. We have to make it practically. Semester exams are good because question paper pattern is good for all students. The passing percentage is more than 80%.
Other: Computer Science is the branch where we study computer applications and software. Our college should add some practical concepts instead of theory. It may helpful for upcoming students. Events like cultural programs are held in our college. Our college conducts inter-college competitions and campus drive programs. Our college conducts extracurricular activities like NSS, NCC, etc.

It is an average kind of college and is preferred for local students and not for outside students.
Placements: Our college has a placement rate of around 55%-58%. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Mostly, local companies visit here, and none of the MNCs visits here. All students don't get placement assistance on an overall basis. Top roles offered are software analysts, and the salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Internships are also offered in local companies only.
Infrastructure: Poor food is served here, especially for outsiders. However, the food is good for local students, but as there are outstation students also, food variant is available in a very fixed manner. So, if you belong to outstations or northern states, you have to face issues with food and menu issues. However, I feel it is fine for local students.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good and knowledgeable, but it does not always make full sense. They should also give speeches. Teachers and professors are good. If you try to encourage yourself and try hard, you can be industry-ready.
Other: I have been referred to this course by one of my friends.

Good college that needs an upgrade.
Placements: Placements are not seen in the college. No companies were there for the placements.
Not even a single student got placed in my course.
0 percent of students were placed in the companies.
Top roles offered after the completion of course are as an assistant lab and technician.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine. The classrooms were clean and sufficient for the strength of students in the course.
Labs were well equipped with the requirements.
No wifi connection is issued for students.
The canteen is neither good nor hygienic, and the food is not particularly tasty.
Faculty: Faculty were well qualified and even friendly and were skilled too.
Curriculum is relevant and enough for the graduate student.
Semester exams were easy and most of the students get passed every year. Approximately 85-90 percent of students get passed every year.
Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in zoology and biology was one of my subjects in pre-university.
Application-based curriculum is required for the degree, which is lacking in the course.
Campus is full of greenery and it's very good.
Fests are regular annually.
