SVNIT college review. Placement scenerio worse, infrastructure above average.

Placements: A lot of companies visit the campus for recruitment. Top companies like Visa, Oracle, Well Fargo, JPMC gives the placement offer. In year 2024, the placement scenerio is comparatively not good. The lowest package is about 3LPA and the highest is around 34 LPA. Around 55 percentage of student got placement. The placement record of CSE and chemical engineering department is better than that of other departments. Some PSUs also come for recruitment.

Infrastructure is not good. Placements are okay.

Placements: Less than 50% students get on campus placements and many go for off campus placements and higher studies. Top recruiting companies are oracle, Amazon, Deloitte and there are other mass recruiting companies as well. Students start getting internship from 3 year of their course.

Good Placement records in 2022, while the course curriculum is not that good.

Placements: As per the most recent placement scenario, the placement for ECE students has been 95+%, which is very high. Also the highest package is about 26CTC, while the lowest is about 5.5CTC, making the average of 8.5CTC. There are many top recruiting companies such as JP Morgan, Airtel, Texas, Accenture, Mathworks etc. About 40% of the students got internships in the same companies listed above and many more. Also Internships is made compulsory recently in the summer break after 3rd year.

Satisfied but hostel food must improve.

Placements: From the past list of students who got placed, it's pretty decent and recently svnit students who passed out have also got good amount of money. So, placements of pir college is good. The alumni of our college is also good for as it also one of the old NITs, so that good and top companies recruit.

I am somehow satisfied with good faculty members, infrastructure, but fewer placements.

Placements: Only 10% of the students get placed in this department. It is the best for engineering students. The average salary package offered was 13 LPA.

The college is not bad but needs a lot of improvement in many aspects.

Placements: The placements for B.Tech students are good, and hardly a few placements are available for M.Tech students. I think 1 or 2 out of our CAD-CAM class were placed. I didn't experience proper placements on campus. Placements must be improved.

Placements: Around 70% to 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA. John Deere, Master Card and Airtel are some top recruiting companies for our course. Around 3% to 5% of the students get internships in small companies, and below 1% of the students get internships in good companies. Core companies visit here to offer placements for our course are very less.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with my branch and a few faculty members.

Placements: From our course, about 3-4 students out of 15 students got placed in good companies. The top recruiting company for our course is General Electric. Around 20%-25% of the students got internships from our course. Companies which visit here to recruit us offer good salary packages, but they select only a few students.

I am dissatisfied with our department, but the college is pretty good for computer engineering.

Placements: In our department, almost everyone got placed. But if we consider core companies related to ECE, the placements were very few as the companies coming for core ECE profile are very less. The highest salary package offered in our course was around 10 LPA by core ECE company. Airtel and John Deere were two companies that gave the highest salary packages related to ECE profile, but many students were also placed in IT companies for much higher salary packages. I would recommend you to get in our college.

Placements: Normally, over 80 percentage of students get placed in leading companies of India from our mechanical engineering department. The average package given to the students is around 6 lacs something and maximum package goes till 12 lacs. Very few students get package less than 4 lacs.

The college and facilities need to be developed.

Placements: Placement statistics for MSc Chemistry are not good. Not even 50% of the students are placed. None of the industrial companies recruited us. Companies like Buyjus, Aakash hire us, and mainly we become lecturers or professors. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA, and the average salary offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 2.5 LPA. Internship opportunities are also less in our college. However, internships are available through off-campus.

Satisfied by the facilities but not with the faculty.

Placements: Placements were good in numbers. Almost 80 per cent students were placed. Average salary is around 4 to 5 LPA. The companies that visit mostly come with a CS or IT profile. Very few companies offer a core field job. Computer Dept and electronics Dept have a decent placement but it is poor for other disciplines.

We are not satisfied with our faculty.

Placements: Most of the students are getting placed in the IT sector. There is no or little scope for the students to get placed in the core field. Many IT companies visit our campus, but only a few core companies hire our students. Companies like Airtel, LnT and John Deere are the only core companies that visited our campus to hire our students.
