Q:   Is School of Business good for MBA/PGDM?

A:
{Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}

Here's what the students and alumni have to say:

Placements
* Around 50-60% of students get placed in reputed organizations, with salaries ranging from 3-7 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
* Companies like Remington, Wipro, Eetab, Digi Versal, and Dream Rewards visit the campus for recruitment.
* However, some students reported difficulty in getting placed in certain specializations like HR and Finance.

Infrastructure and Facilities
* The infrastructure is "phenomenal" and up-to-date, with access to all necessary equipment.
* Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, helping students become industry-ready.

Teaching Quality
* Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and willing to help students.
* Course curriculum may need to be revised to better prepare students for industry demands.

Overall Assessment
* About half of the students get placed, with the majority going into sales roles.
* Internships are available, and most students secure paid internships.
* While the college has its strengths, some areas for improvement include the course curriculum and placement rates for certain specializations.

In conclusion, while School of Business has its positives, such as strong faculty support and decent placement records, it may not be ideal for everyone. Students looking for specialization-specific placements might face challenges, and the course curriculum needs refinement. Nonetheless, the school offers a good foundation for those interested in pursuing an MBA/PGDM degree.

Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for MBA/PGDM at School of Business?

A:
{Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}

Course Curriculum Structure for MBA/PGDM at School of Business

Based on the reviews from students and alumni, here's what can be inferred about the course curriculum structure:

* Comprehensive Syllabus: The course curriculum is "perfect" and "all-related" to the syllabus, ensuring that students gain a thorough understanding of the subject matter (Quote 1).
* Practical Focus: Some faculty members emphasize the importance of practical learning, encouraging students to develop skills that make them "market-ready" (Quote 4).

It appears that the course curriculum is designed to cover a wide range of topics, focusing on both theoretical foundations and practical applications. However, some students feel that the curriculum could benefit from being more flexible, acknowledging that the current format may be too dense, attempting to pack two years' worth of material into a single semester (Quote 3).

Success Rate of Placement Cell for MBA/PGDM Students

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of the success rate of the placement cell:

* Placed 10% of students: According to one student, the placement cell was able to secure jobs for around 10% of their batch mates.
* Good placement opportunities for marketing specialization: Another student mentioned that the placement cell provides good placement opportunities for students specializing in marketing, specifically in sales profiles.

However, it seems that the placement cell may face challenges in placing students in certain specializations, such as HR and Finance.

Overall, while some students appreciate the efforts of the placement cell, others seem to feel that the cell needs improvement in terms of securing jobs for all students.

It is a good college with great faculty members.
Placements: All the students got placed at reputed organisations, and final placements are around 50-60%. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and companies like Remington, Wipro, Eetab, Digi Versal, and Dream Rewards visit the campus for recruitment. Many companies did not visit here, but the visited ones hire at least 2 students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is phenomenal, and the facilities provided are all up to date. Besides that, we have access to all sorts of equipment. They could add a swimming pool to attract more people and extend the collaboration with Warwick University, which would be helpful.
Faculty: Faculty members at Sushant School of Business are very good, and they are up to date about industry trends. They even teach us the practical aspect of the industry and shape us in ways so that we are market-ready. I think the whole business course should be practical to produce budding experts.

The college has good infrastructure and amazing faculty members.
Placements: Placement cell and CRC team are working hard day by day. They placed 10% of the students from our batch, and during an internship, all students were placed for internships. They provide good placement opportunities for marketing specialisation in sales profile only. For rest, they could not be able to place any student for HR or finance specialisation.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available at Ansal University. I have never been to its hostel as I stay with my family in Gurgaon.
Faculty: Faculty members here are highly qualified and most helpful in MBA. Without them, it wouldn't be that easy for us to complete an MBA. The course curriculum is long as it is like 2 years syllabus in one semester. We all are covering, but they need to think and recreate their course curriculum for the MBA course.

It provides an average environment, and good teachers don't be on campus due to college politics.
Placements: Around 50% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got internships only. Sales executive was the top role offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average, and labs are not usable. Library doesn't have books recommended by teachers. The food served in the canteen is average, and sports facilities are below average.
Faculty: We have good teachers, and they don't last on campus due to campus politics. The teaching quality mostly depends on teachers. The course curriculum is good.

Extremely satisfied with the environment of the campus.
Placements: 80-90% of the students were placed in well known reputed organizations. 5-6 lacs was the minimum package offered in the course. Every student got an internship with well-known companies. It was overall a good experience there, campus placements were also held.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of the campus, the labs, classrooms, wi-fi connectivity is nice. The library, cafeteria, playgrounds all were well managed. The quality of the food available in the canteen is also very nice. The crowd and the environment of the campus were nice.
Faculty: All the teachers were very nice and helpful. They are highly qualified and were available to help you anytime. They always try to build a good bond with students, ready to explain the topic again anytime. They all have their own way to teach the students to make them industry ready .

I am satisfied with our college.
Placements: Every student from our batch got a paid internship. All students got placed in reputed organisations and budding startups. Final placements were not successfully conducted probably due to COVID-19 situation and other reasons. So, they didn't invite many reputed brands for final placements.
Infrastructure: I like the library and other facilities offered by our university, but our university should upgrade its systems. Otherwise, we have access to everything which we require. The food served is good. You can eat healthy food in the cafeteria or even there are other options which serve unhealthy food.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very good, knowledgeable, professional, determined, and they help students in every possible way. Some teachers have a great approach to teaching, which makes learning fun, interesting, and also memorable. They are also very understanding.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome and modern. It is perfect and has all facilities there for students. Wi-Fi is available in all campus with first class library with good collection of books. Hostels are best and clean and mess food is fresh and tasty.
