Dissatisfied with the college faculty. The last year's college placements are not good.

Placements: Many students got placed. I am currently doing the BCA course at this university. I am in my second year. This is the best B.Tech course. Most students get placements at this college. Those who are doing this course also got placed.

College is good in terms of education, crowd, infrastructure, and placement.

Placements: Placements are okay as companies visit the college, but the rules of the college are too strict. 30% of students are placed in IT roles, whereas others are offered Non-IT roles. Students who got placed once cannot sit for companies again, which becomes an obstacle for students to get their desired role.

My college review in a jist .

Placements: Top recruiters are accenture, here technologies. The packages this year haven't been that high but cyber security companies have come and taken good number of students. The variety of courses have also had an impact in number of placements in the campus.

The campus is good with mountain views. There are many places to visit and explore.

Placements: Placements of SOCS are the best, with an average salary package of 15 LPA. There is no accurate information about placements. Students may have to take non-core placement offers, which are compulsory, but can opt out. Core placement is also offered.

College is good for engineering courses as is the core of this college.

Placements: Placements are good with an average salary package of 15 LPA. However, SOSC has no accurate information about placement. MCA students are the most affected many have to take noncore placement offers. However, college also provides internships for students which are non-paid and last around 6 months. Rest the college is good for enjoying the mountains.

My life in college of UPES.

Placements: Only 70–73% of students got placed. The average package is 800000, and the highest package is 1.3cr. Wipro, Amazon, etc. are the top recruiters. 95% of students got internship. After 1st year, you got your 1st social internship. In 2nd year, you got 2nd internships, and in 3rd year, you have to do many internships to get placement in 4th year.
