The final year batch is yet to go out, and it is a new university, so placements are not that great.

Inside and outside of Presidency University.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package offered 13 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary offered is 2 LPA. Internships are optional, and anyone who wants to get an internship can apply, as internship programs are sent regularly. Top companies include Capgemini, Dell, Shell, etc. Top roles offered in my course are Data Scientist and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: Our university infrastructure is above average Wi-Fi everywhere, labs are spacious, classrooms are large, and we have multiple libraries. Apart from that, we have several cafeterias where you can hang out. The food here is average, but with multiple cafeterias, one can choose the best one. We have our medical room equipped with two doctors. When it comes to sports, we have multiple sports facilities like basketball, cricket, football, volleyball, throwball, badminton, and table tennis. Coaching is provided for all sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are above average. They teach well and have excellent knowledge. Our college has a dedicated soft skills team that focuses on making students industry-ready. Exams are neither too easy nor too hard, they are easy to pass but difficult to score good marks. Approximately 80 %-90% of students manage to pass the exams.
Other: I chose Data Science because it offers various job opportunities and is highly reputable in the IT industry. The best thing about my course is that it is high-paying in the IT sector. The college could have conducted entrance examinations to attract a better crowd, but the B.Tech crowd is not that great. Fests and activities are abundant in our college. The fests we conduct are amazing because we have a lot of celebrities coming to entertain us.

Presidency University review .
Placements: The college is least bothered about placements. Even when we have passed the test, we won't be selected for the next grounds regarding placements. And the college does not take any responsibility for the abovementioned problem. They don't put us in internships also.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure from the outside, but inside the classrooms are not painted. The labs are not well equipped with fully working computers or components. The washrooms always stink. The library is good but very small. The food in the canteen is not up to mark.
Faculty: First of all, very few faculty members teach well. The rest don't do a thing in the class, but they all cut our internal marks for the things they have not taught us. Even after all of this, the exam questions are moderate for a few and difficult for a few subjects.
Other: The courses offered in my program are not up to mark.

Absolutely a waste of time & money. Placements are lower compared to other universities.
Placements: Placements are not up to par. For maximum people, a 3.5 LPA is offered, as are non-sector jobs. Guidance for internships and placements is average; you need to work on it. Placements are lower compared to other colleges, and there is no guidance for placements.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good, and I think the hostel fee is high. Most people stay in outside hostels. The college is large, with a number of blocks, different kinds of labs, and greenery around campus. Different blocks serve different purposes. Classrooms are neatly organized.
Faculty: Overall, it is good, and some faculty are really helpful and can guide us. Subjects are according to the technologies and need to improve real-time examples. For semester exams, you need to study the overall syllabus. Only PPT lectures are given; we need to improve them.

Placements are not great. Overall, college is pretty average.
Placements: Placements in my college are not good. They are average, and only a handful of people are placed yearly. While others even with a good CGPA, are ignored. Most students who get placed receive low salary packages, such as 3.5 LPA or 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the main highlight. It is very good. Coming to Wi-Fi, it sometimes has issues but generally works fine. College conducts some sports activities but does not organise any intercollege sports events.
Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable, while others seem focused only on their salaries. Most teachers stick strictly to the modules, encouraging students to memorise rather than truly learn, which does not prepare us for the industry. Overall, exams are moderate and not too difficult.
Other: I chose the Data Science course because I liked its concept, and it is highly in demand. I wish they taught us more creatively and made us industry-ready. Fests and events on campus happen occasionally but are very well organised.

Really good infrastructure. Civil engineering department facilities are amazing.
Placements: Students from my branch, 10 were placed out of 40. The highest package was 10 LPA for my civil branch. Prestige company came this year, 2024. This year, students applied for abroad internships like Singapore and Taiwan. We have tie-ups with abroad colleges too.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is really good, and classrooms are very nice and spacious. The library has all the books and textbooks related to civil engineering. Facilities are very well educated; almost all of them are Ph.D. holders and have good knowledge about all civil subjects.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; they'll guide us and make us understand. Almost all teachers are Ph.D. holders. Teaching quality is 10/10. Semester exams are mid and end-term exams. Out of 200 marks, we need to get 80 to pass. Mid-term is for 50, CA is 50, and the final is 100.
Other: I choose this branch because I like it and I'm interested in all these buildings, how they're constructed, and sustainable buildings. Many events happen in our college. Crowd is waste. Campus is little far from the city, but the surroundings are beautiful, covered with greenery.
