Really Good infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Only 2% of the total number of students were placed from the final-year batch last semester. The highest package was around 7 lacs, with three Tier 1 firms coming to recruit. It's just meh. You can't expect too much from this university as it is the school of law. Since it is not an NLU, it will have its own problems.
Infrastructure: The hostel is nice. Very nice, in fact. There is a gym room, and all the major facilities are available. The hostel wardens are sometimes bad and sometimes good, depending on the warden you get. There are a lot of rules, though, like you can't wear shorts on campus. Yes, that is an actual rule.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing. Everyone is from good universities and has done an LL.M. The course is relevant and does indeed make the students industry-ready. The exams are difficult to pass. Most teachers often don't give out marks just to pass. So, yeah, it is nice but tough.

Presidency University a place of learning and personal growth .
Placements: In my B.A. LL.B. batch, about 70-80% of us secured placements. The highest package offered was around INR 12 LPA, while the lowest was INR 3 LPA, and most students received an average of INR 4-6 LPA. Top recruiters included prominent law firms, TCS, Wipro, and HDFC Bank, which added variety to our career path. Around 60-70% of students landed internships in respected firms like Trilegal and Amarchand & Mangaldas, where we took on roles such as legal associate and compliance offices. These experiences provided a solid stepping stone into the legal professions.
Infrastructure: The B.A. LL.B. infrastructure at Presidency University is well-equipped, with modern classrooms featuring Wi-Fi and projectors for interactive learning. The library is rich in law resources, and law labs offer practical experiences. Hostels are clean with basic amenities; the mess food is decent, and the canteen offers variety. Medical aid includes on-call doctors and first aid. Sports facilities for basketball, football, and more help students relax. Overall, it's a supportive environment for academics and well-being, though better food options and enhanced medical facilities would make it even better.
Faculty: The faculty for the B.A. LL.B. course at Presidency University are supportive, highly qualified, and bring real expertise to the classroom, making the learning experience engaging and insightful. The curriculum is practical and well-designed, balancing theory with hands-on practice to ensure students are prepared for the industry. Semester exams can be challenging but are fair, pushing students to stay consistent and motivated. With a pass rate of around 80-90%, the exams maintain a strong academic standard while still being manageable with dedication and effort.
Other: I chose the B.A. LL.B. course because it offered a great mix of law theory and practical skills, fitting my career plans perfectly. The best part is the supportive, knowledgeable faculty and the well-rounded curriculum. I do wish there were more interdisciplinary subjects to expand learning. Campus life is vibrant, filled with festivals, active clubs, and a friendly, diverse student crowd. The university? S location is convenient, with good connectivity and decent surroundings. Scholarships help support hardworking students, and the many extracurricular activities make life here exciting and rewarding. Overall, it? S an environment that? S engaging and memorable.

Infrastructure and courses offered are brilliant. Placement and faculty can be improved .
Placements: Presidency university boasts great placements which is not particularly true. Credit where its due the university has an excellent placement cell which is very active and involved. However placement is only restricted to BBA. Engineering and aviation students. Companies like Delloite and TCS recruit from the university. However the students are not happy with the placement opportunities. Placement is not even available for Law students which is highly concerning. But the college is working towards developing better standards .
Infrastructure: Presidency universities main attraction is its unique and beautiful infrastructure. The classes are not only well-equipped with star of the art facilities but are also very aesthetically pleasing. The engineering course is well developed with labs and libraries. The law department has its own library. And the lush green campus provides a certain homily feeling away from home. The presidency boys hostel can be improved however safety of the students is a top priority in the hostel. Regular cleaning and good food makes student life easier.
Faculty: The courses are well planned out and the students can easily score good marks in exams. However an area of concern are the qualified professors, who teach using PowerPoint and rarely care if the concept is being under by the students. The law department lacks actual professors. The course is very well planned and makes the student ready for the outside world but the inability of the teachers to teach is hindering the students learning .
Other: I chose this course because I love the law. And here at presidency university. We have regular competitions organized by various committees and clubs. The college also organizes seminars and talks for students. Our auditorium and amphi theater is always hosting some or the other events. Lige is really happening in the university. One would never get bored .

Faculty: The faculty at the university is very supportive and friendly. They help the students anytime. The faculties come up with new ideas to make the class more interesting. The classes are mostly based on discussions, presentations, and other activities. The teachers are highly qualified in their respective subject areas, and most of them have done their PhD, and some are pursuing it. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant; it does help the students shape their career. As we see, law is developing day by day, which offers huge scope to the students and provides various opportunities as well. The exams are not that difficult, but they are not easy either. The exams are divided into two: midterm and end term. They are of 50 and 100 marks, respectively. And the internals are 50 marks. Hence, the total is calculated out of 200. A student needs to score 80 out of 200 to clear a subject.
Other: The course offers various opportunities in the future. It is not just about the classes; other activities are also conducted for real-life experience as to how the courts work. Therefore, various competitions are held within the college and nationwide as well. Apart from the studies, the university organises various fests and events.
