Campus life which has good environment and placements.
Placements: In my opinion, it is the best university for offering campus placements. From 6th semester we will get the campus placements and I have interview for 13 companies but I am selected in 4 companies, which are TCS, Cognizant, L&T Mindtree, and Tata Power. In our batch, the highest package was 34 LPA, and average package was 4.5 LPA. 80% of the students were placed during recession. I have joined in Tata Power. Some of my friends have joined in M.Tech in VLSI design.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good and bad, like new buildings are good but older ones are bad. The hostel registration is a headache. The mess food is partially good. The fees range from 16000 to 28000 for the hostel rooms based on the room type, and this is a yearly fee. Strictly no AC. Mess fees range from 4000 to 5000 monthly. Strictly no Non-Veg. The locality for taking PG is Thanjavur or Vallam.
Faculty: The curriculum is well designed and will be effective for higher studies and helpful for placements. Most papers are useful in the real world. The frequency of exams are the main trouble but there is good gap for studying during the semester exams. Class Size: 60 Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Nice college, very Supportive faculty members, can't forget.
Placements: From the 4th semester, students are ready for placement opportunities. Many companies like Amuse Labs, Oliver Wyman, Goldman Sachs, and McKinsey & Company, etc., and many more reputed MNCs visit our college to offer recruitment opportunities to students. The average package is around 10-12 LPA, and the highest package goes up to 42 LPA. Around 90% of students get placement here.
Infrastructure: Hostels are provided to all students if they want. For the first year, there are double accommodation rooms, and in the second year, there are single accommodation rooms. In the hostel, there are both AC and non-AC rooms, but the rent for the AC rooms is higher. Hostel rooms are big and very spacious for two students and have an attached bathroom, which is great. The cleaning staff comes to every room daily and cleans the room very neatly. The food cooked in the mess is very tasty and healthy, with options like North and South Indian food. A canteen is also there in the hostel building, which runs 24/7.
Faculty: MBA is chosen because of its business aspect. The curriculum is designed to explore business and corporate effectiveness as much as possible. Faculty members are well-experienced, supportive, and good-natured. Their teaching skills are awesome; they make difficult concepts very easy. They use PPTs, and every class is equipped with smart boards. Examinations are a little difficult here. Class Size: 58 Course Feels: 157,000 per year.

Sastra is known for its academic programs and strong emphasis on quality education.
Placements: The placements were nice and they completely did justice. Many recruiting companies trusted our college and teamed up with our college for the placements. The college made us interview-ready before the placement started, so it helped us prepare more effectively. Top-notch companies like Google, Amazon, JP Morgan, etc., were there for the placements and were quite satisfied. But all the new companies were there for the recruitment.
Infrastructure: There are various types of hostels in Sastra. But all the hostels are non-AC. Some hostels have attached washrooms, and some have common washrooms. There are 2-in-1 rooms, 3-in-1 rooms, 4-in-1 rooms, and single rooms. Coming to the food, it’s not good. The menu is based on Tamil Nadu style, and the quality of the food is not so great. And it’s a nightmare for non-vegetarians in Sastra because it’s not allotted inside the campus. Hostel Fee: INR 24,000 per year.
Faculty: They have a more future-value curriculum. They follow the curriculum under UGC recommendation. The twenty-day ones check the student's subject knowledge for 50 marks. The test will be conducted 3 times in one semester. For one semester, the 3 tests take the average of the 2 test marks for the final exam. They then conduct the final semester exam for 100 marks, which is then converted to 50 marks.

Complete your MBA degree availing good facilities in the most economic way.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is good, but many companies are expected to visit our campus in the 4th semester. Good opportunities are provided for marketing professionals and also for the students whose major subject is finance. Our senior batch did not achieve good placement percentage. But, opportunities are comparatively more in this year. Proper training is provided for students by the placement cell.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is extremely good and is available throughout the campus at a high-speed. The library is a sufficient and efficient one. Smart classrooms are available with properly working projector facilities. The canteen is a decent one. Labs are well-equipped.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. They all are PhD holders with an average experience of 10 years. The teaching style is very smooth and student-friendly. Knowledge is their priority. They promote many research papers that are to be published, and working on that is a high priority.
Other: Progyan is a management fest conducted by the School of Management, SASTRA, and it is conducted once a year.

My review of my life at School of Management - SASTRA.
Placements: Placements are slightly poor for MBA. Only 30% of students were placed. The average package is also very less. I'm not that much satisfied with the previous batches records regarding placements. The maximum package is six Lacs (Rs.600000). And only 2 persons got that package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. The entire campus is equipped with proper Wi-Fi facilities. The MBA block is extremely sophisticated compared to other blocks. The labs are also well-equipped. The college does't focus much on sports for MBA Students.
Faculty: The course curriculum and the faculty of my college are excellent. Each faculty member is a Ph.D. holder and has enough industrial experience to facilitate us to learn the concepts in an easy way. Each student is allotted mentor to help and guide them.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements are good on comparing other colleges in this area. Moreover, there should be an improvement over HR recruiting companies and marketing as well. Still, the finance has a good scope over the campus, but other specialisations should also be in.
Infrastructure: The college management has a good infrastructure. The campus is well-maintained with dignity. The management has good decorum as well. Sophisticated and spacious classrooms are available. The facilities of Wi-Fi, library, and labs are good. There is a good scope in sports and games as well.
Faculty: The teachers are much helpful well-qualified, and well-knowledgeable. The teachers are much helpful by sharing materials, ideas, PPTs. The teachers while interacting share their ideas regarding both books as well as live examples. That's more helpful to us by education.

SASTRA University does not offer a B.Com. program in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance. The university offers various undergraduate programs, but a B.Com. degree with a specialization in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance is not listed among them.
