The life of SMS Lucknow. Good infrastructure and placements. Amazing facilities and campus life.
Placements: 60% of students get placed every year in SMS Lucknow. The highest package is around INR 10–15 lacs, and the lowest package is INR 4.5 lacs. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and HCL visit every year for placements. 30% of students get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SMS Lucknow is amazing and very attractive. I am pursuing a BCA, and the computer labs are good. The class is also very good. In the hostel, you get a bed, an almirah, a study table, a chair, Wi-Fi, and a gym. There are several sports you can play, like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, etc. The mess food is also very good; sometimes it is not up to the mark, but I will rate it 7/10.
Faculty: The curriculum of my course is three years. The teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. The teaching methods of teachers are very understandable. The curriculum is very relevant. The semester exams are not too difficult to pass, but you have to study for 2-3 hours daily to gain some good marks. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I want to become a web developer, which is why I chose this course. I love coding. They should improve the meal quality in the canteen and add some more meals to the menu. The college organizes many fests on campus, like freshers parties, farewell parties, and NAAC events.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Our batch strength is 60, out of which 10-15 students are doing their internship without college help. Many students are placed at HCL. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Most students want to continue their education for an MCA. They don't accept placement offers. Almost 70% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Godrej, Tanishq, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. Our college does not provide good facilities. Air-conditioners are not available. Our classrooms are not so cool. College timing is from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM, so it's tough to survive in the summer. The mess and canteen are good. Medical facilities are not available. Sports and games are not good. There is ground for outdoor activities. No extra period is given for outdoor activities.
Faculty: There are only 1-2 helpful teachers in every course. Our teachers are well qualified. Every semester, over 2-3 subject teachers leave our colleges. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready, as subjects are based on 70% theory. We did not gain practical knowledge. Semester exams are not challenging. The pass percentage is 99%.
Other: I chose this course because it would provide us with more management and technical knowledge than any other course. Our course will be better if it is based on practical things. Events are good. Fests are not celebrated. Scholarships are not available. Students should take charge of organising events and extracurricular activities.

    Honest reviews without fake perception
Placements: On the role of placement in the Bachelor of Computer Application, there is an average level due to competition. It also depends on the student because your performance will decide your placement and your personality. Top recruiting companies from our college are Wipro, TCS, Zomato, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure offered by the college is quite good, but the hospitality of the hostels is not too good according to my personal review due to food, rules, and services. I don't have problems with the rules, but in hostels, no electric equipment is allowed. The infrastructure is good and decent, with a library, computer labs, and a canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are also good; a few of them guide us as great mentors. Semester exams are quite competitive, and the college is not self-centered; we have to give our exams in other colleges. Professors are also supportive, and there is discipline during studies and exams.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the IT field, and the interesting thing is that we learn about different programming languages during school. Yes, there are lots of events in our college, and fresher events are organized by students.

I am not satisfied with this college because the location is far from the station.
Placements: Almost 30% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, etc. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The food quality is excellent. Tea is not good. They provide cold drinks once a week. Washrooms are cleaned every day.
Faculty: Teachers are great. They always clarify our doubts. They also send questions to practice in Whatsapp groups. Study material is provided by faculty members as well. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 35%. If we focus on study, we can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Everything is better in this course. Events and extracurricular activities are conducted in this college. It is situated in the outer area of Lucknow, so travel cost is high and time-consuming. Our college timing is divided between seniors and juniors. There is good communication with the warden. The attendance system is maintained by guards.

I am satisfied because I learned many new things and got supportive teachers.
Placements: Placements in our college are not 100 %. But it is somewhere around 80 - 85%. More than 30 or 40 companies visit our campus out of which many are the best IT companies like Accenture, HCL, TCS, and Wipro. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Overall it is not the best but affordable and good. Our college is NAAC A+ certified.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like a library and classrooms but no Wi-Fi. The labs are not high-tech but are average. Hostel facilities are not so excellent but good ones. The mess, canteen, playground, and other things are fine and are adjustable. If any students need medical facilities they can go to the restroom and can also have medicine from college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, good, helpful, and knowledgeable persons. The course curriculum and seminars are very important to make students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult, just a few efforts can make any students clear their exams. The pass or fail depends on backlogs, 5-6 backlogs can result in a year back.
Other: Overall, it is a good college. Events are not that bad. Students can learn new things and have a good time.
