"Student's perspective" because this review is given from the student's perspective.
Placements: Still, placement is going on for our batch. The previous batch's placement is good and has above 90% placement. Companies like Cadence, Dlithe, TCS, etc., will recruit in our college. Top roles like physical design engineer, verification engineer, RTL engineer, Python developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, laboratory, clean and hygienic classrooms, well-maintained library with all types of books related to academics and others. The hostel has very good maintenance and hygienic food. Sports, medical facility is well, and wardens are friendly with the students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive of the students in both academics and extracurricular activities. They uplift each and every student in studies and help them clear the doubts. They also help with projects and assist students to provide internships and workshops.
Other: I have chosen this course because I personally was interested in this course as it was explorable and interesting and helps me with self-development and skills development. I wish to provide more hands-on experience. Everything else is very good about this college.

It is a good college, but it is very strict, so think twice before joining.
Placements: The placement rate in 2021 was approximately 90%. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The highest placement is in computer science and engineering, followed by information science and engineering.
Infrastructure: SDM has good hostels. There are 4 hostels, of which 2 are for boys and 2 for girls. There are separate mess halls for boys and girls. The check-in time for boys is 6:30 PM. Breakfast is available from 7:30 AM. Lunch is available from 12:30 PM. Snacks are available from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Dinner is available from 7:30 PM.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Almost all teachers are highly qualified. They have approached teaching in a modern way. VTU syllabus is outdated, but teachers conduct workshops to teach the latest trends in the field. The college follows the strict instructions of VTU.

Infrastructure: The college has centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi-enabled LCD projectors. It has tutorial rooms, a library, a state-of-the-art seminar room, and a fully equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of over 750 persons. The College takes pride in being a differently-able friendly campus with new ramps, lifts, and special washrooms added to the building. Also, the College has various facilities to address the reading, hearing, and understanding requirements of various students. The hostel is very strict and good, mess is also okay. There is not much scope for sports in our college.
Faculty: The exams are tough. The faculty members are really good they help us in every situation. They help us to get placement.
Other: Most recruiters look for job-ready candidates hence education institutes are fast-adopting courses and curriculum that meet industry needs.

Engineers are the future of the country. In designing a structure or a product, the engineer selects methods, specifies materials, and determines shapes to satisfy technical requirements and meet performance specifications.

Our college has a good environment to study in.
Placements: About 50% -65% of students get placed in our college, the highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Infosys, Capgemini, Byjus, and Wipro, are some of our top recruiting companies. Around 30% got an internship in Digi-Tech company. Software developer and data analyst are the top roles of our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, we have all the necessary facilities. We have labs, an auditorium, a sports ground, and a place for cultural events. Many numbers of books and computers are present in our college. The classroom is equipped with projectors and smartboards.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and experienced. The curriculum is relevant and makes us ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too difficult, it is manageable, and more than 80% of students pass. Just by studying 3 modules, we can pass our exams easily.
