Good Private College for Forensic Science Course Compared to Other Colleges.
Placements: The college provides internships during vacations in central and state government laboratories. They offer internships to almost every student, with packages starting from 10k and higher packages around 45k based on the student’s performance. The roles offered in our course include lab technician positions in FSL and CFSL.
Infrastructure: The library has all the necessary books, and the classrooms are air-conditioned with a digitalized system of learning. We have good libraries, but they are smaller than the classrooms, which have various facilities, including Wi-Fi and digital systems. The food is good in some hostels, but not in all. The prices for hostel accommodations are a bit high. The facilities for games and medical services are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very qualified, with great knowledge and excellent teaching abilities. They are friendly and always ready to assist us. Semester exams in the college are not too difficult; however, the minimum passing percentage for the courses is 50%, and 75% attendance is required throughout the year.
Other: All festivals are celebrated, along with various events and sports activities throughout the year.

Things that the Sharda University website won't tell you.
Placements: Placements in Sharda for forensic science are good. You can trust the institute for placement. The minimum package offered is 2 lacs per annum, and the maximum goes up to 5 lacs per annum. The top company, namely CYST, is popular for its placement in forensic sciences. You need to get a Ph.D. or Master's in forensic science to get a good package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Sharda University is simply amazing. All the classrooms are well-furnished with AC and Wi-Fi connections. Sharda is well known for its extracurricular activities. Each block has its own library, which has books related to the block studies. There is also the main library, which is huge, beautiful, and provides a pretty environment for studying.
Faculty: Faculty members can be partial, but if you are able to make them see your potential in the subjects, they will turn out to be helpful to you. The curriculum of the course is relevant, but it is not enough to get you a well-paying job. Semester exams are not so difficult in my course; you just need to go through the PDFs provided by the teachers, and you are all set for a good GPA. The minimum pass percentage is 33%.
Other: If you have any other interests or hidden talents, Sharda University offers you the best platform to enhance them. The crowd life in Sharda is just amusing. The festival surroundings are very lively. The way of teaching faculty can be changed; they just come to class to read the PDFs, and so on.

College is good and faculty members are cooperative.
Placements: There is no such placement related to nutritionists or dieticians. All placements are related to other courses. There is no such recruiting company related to our course. The roles offered for our course are just as client associates, not ours .
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are good, like the Wi-Fi labs and the facilities are quite good. Overall, the facilities provided are good and the environment of the faculty members is good. Everything is good except the placement part and placement is the main.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and it also makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are good and the pass percentage of our semester exams is approximately 33 percent .

A good atmosphere to learn and grow.
Placements: In my limited knowledge, some seniors were placed, and those even came from teachers personal references. There were no efforts made, and no hospital was called. So placements are bad. Teachers help, but no official help is given; therefore, the placements are bad.
Infrastructure: College buildings are well conditioned, but hostels are not good or even affordable. Out Campus hostels are much better and more affordable (more facilities at a low cost). The hostel provides mattresses. It is overpriced, and the washroom service and food quality are not even good.
Faculty: The curriculum is fantastic, and it will cover everything that is required. Faculty members are fine with knowledge regarding and limited to the syllabus and exams on the taught topic. Teachers are fine and help you when needed. It makes you partially hospital-ready, and exams are fine if you study what is taught in class.
Other: The fee is quite expensive, as is usual for a private college, but the campus is good for staying engaged.

I am very satisfied with faculty members and placements of this college.
Placements: Being cardiovascular technicians, it was lovely seeing that above 80% of my batchmates were placed. The lowest salary package offered was 2.40 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. We were mostly recruited by hospitals like John Hopkins Hospital, etc. Submission of internships reports was mandatory for students before completion of the course. Internships were done at the school's hospital, i.e., Sharda Hospital.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure could not be something to complain about. Sharda University had the best infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. The Wi-Fi connectivity was impeccable. Labs and classrooms were outstanding. The library was world-class.
Faculty: We were grateful to have such mentors and tutors of such good qualifications. The teaching quality was neither bad. The course curriculum was modified in such a way that makes students ready for the future. Semester exams were just okay, neither difficult nor easy. They drew the line between students who knew why they were there and who didn't. The pass percentile was 8 CGPA.
Other: The course was interesting, especially for those looking forward to working in the catch laboratory for catheterization and echocardiographers and those wanting to build a base in cardiology. The engagement of the students in classes must be improved.

Sharda University: The world is here, where are you?
Placements: Placements provided in this University are really good. MBA students get a 100% placements rate followed by B.Tech students getting 90% placements and then B.Sc. course with 88% placements rate. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Max hospital and Apollo hospital are the top recruiters. Other than these, many multinational companies are also involved.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and contains all sorts of accommodation. The campus is very big. Talking about the hostel, the mess food is not up to the mark but Wi-Fi and electricity is always available. There is no problem with the internet in the rooms here. But the hostel wardens are very rude. Medical facility is available 24 hours at Sharda Hospital.
Faculty: The faculty here is very helpful. They help in every possible way they can. The questions asked in the examinations are pre discussed in the classrooms. No questions come from outside the syllabus. In each year, there are 2 examinations, one is the mid term exam and other is the end term exam. The midterm exam consists of 50 marks while the end term exam is of 100 marks.
Other: B.Sc. in radiology and imaging technology is a very bright course, since the doctors need to know about the problem before surgery. The faculty here is good and will help you understand the subjects in a language you are comfortable in. The campus is very big with all the facilities available. There are hostels for both male and female students.

Q:   How many students can do B.Sc at SAHS Sharda University?

    A:

Determining the precise number of students admitted to the B.Sc. programme at Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) can be difficult for several reasons:

    1. Limited Open Information: Sharda University's website doesn't readily display specific intake figures for individual programs like B.Sc. programs within SAHS. This might be due to confidentiality practices or not being prioritized information for recruitment.
    2. Multiple Specializations: SAHS offers various B.Sc. specializations within areas like Medical Imaging Technology,  Nutrition and Dietetics,  Cardiovascular Technology,  and more. The student intake can vary for each specialisation due to differing programme popularity and faculty resources.
    3. Year-to-Year Fluctuations: Intake numbers can fluctuate annually based on factors like application volume,  program adjustments,  and university expansion plans.

However, we can gather some clues about the B.Sc. intake at SAHS:

    • Total Student Body: Sharda University houses a large student population exceeding 20,000 across various programs. SAHS likely contributes a significant portion to this.
    • Class Size Indicators: Anecdotal evidence suggests moderate class sizes for B.Sc. programs within SAHS,  potentially ranging from 30-50 students per specialization.
    • Faculty-Student Ratio: SAHS boasts a decent faculty-student ratio,  suggesting personalized attention despite potentially larger intake numbers.

    Estimating the Intake:

While a definitive figure remains elusive, considering the available clues and comparing with similar programs in India, we can estimate the total B.Sc. intake at SAHS to be somewhere in the range of 200-500 students per year, distributed across various specializations.
