The college gets good results at GTU and state level.

Placements: Chances of the placements in the college are very good for computer engineering branch and EC branch with good salary packages. Even there are lots of companies visiting the campus for placements of other engineering branches. As I am in the civil engineering branch, I can say that if you really want to get placed, then surely you will be placed.

This is an excellent college because of its faculty and students.

Placements: Placements depend on students. The college invites many companies for placements, and these companies hire good students. One can get a lot of experience working in those companies. A lot of seminars are also conducted to guide all the students in the field of their interest.

The worst selection of college.

Placements: There was only 20 percent placement in senior batch and for role of sales manager or marketing manager not in engineering based company. The highest salary offered is 15000 if you want to work outside Surat, and for Surat the salary was only 10000 per month. Yes there is a placement cell in college but work as passive. There is 0 percent placements in our year in this college.

Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is an average college.

Placements: The college had good placements. Most of the companies will not offer a call letter, which is the big issue even with a few MNC companies as well. Most of the companies are not good and well-reputed. The first requirement of every student is to get placed in any multinational company.

The college has good infrastructure. The faculty members way of teaching is good.

Placements: The companies visit the campus for the placements, but not regarding the technical job, but only the financial job. In case of other departments like EC and computer, they have a lot of companies regarding their technical knowledge, and that is the good thing in our college.

The college is good and the result of college is excellent every year. But the facility is average.

Placements: The average placements were offered like 30-40%. Around, 10-15 MNC's comes to the college. The special placement is by the Indian navy. Every year, they hire 4-5 students with the higher package. The placement is not good. It's too good compared to the other colleges of south Gujarat self-finance colleges.

The college is the best, but its rules and regulations are strict.

Placements: 20 students out of 70 are selected in the placements of our college. There are many companies coming to our college, and they hire knowledge student based interview but not by his/her results. Our training and placement team also guides for which company is coming and its environment.

Absolutely awesome college because of the placements.

Placements: The placements are good. About 15-30% of the students are placed. The package varies from 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. The average salary offered was 3 LPA. There is 2 placement cell located on the campus. They give chances to each and every student. They are very useful. The companies like TCS, Dell, Wipro are likely to come in every year.

Recommend for all to get admission in this college.

Placements: The placements from CSE, EC, I&C, IT, electrical are good, but for the civil engineering, placement is very poor. Mostly startup companies are coming to recruit the students, and rarely well-known company come to recruit. Overall recruitment in the college is good compared to other colleges in Surat region. It comes after SVNIT.

SSASIT- The college life will be same as school life.

Placements: I am Arpan Patel, I completed my BE from SSASIT in 2015. For 2014 and 2015 batch, no company came to the campus. In our batch, the results were good, but no companies came. Our batch was good and have very talented students, but there is no support from the placement department to the students to get placed.

Not satisfied with the placements.

Placements: There are no placements in the college, and none of them is playing a role in the placements. There should be a placement cell for the engineering students in the college. The college has no internship programme for the students. Only 1 or 2 companies visited the college, but the companies showed no interest. Overall, no effort was made to the student to get knowledge of the real world.

Satisfied with the faculty, good placement, and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements offered for the students were good. One of the students got Rs. 23,000 per month starting salary. At least 7 CGPA out of 10 is required for the placement in the company. Our college has a placement cell or training and placement department. Training and placement department is useful to the student as guiding for the training or guide for a better placement.

Overall improvements are necessary in terms of education and infrastructure.

Placements: The overall placement of our college is low, as per the figures of the senior students. I think it's around 1 to 2 percent of the students that got placed in different companies. Also, some steps should be taken by college placement cell, as the number of colleges in Gujarat is increasing rapidly, and to withstand in this competition, we must encourage our students.

Not worth if you want to study

Placements: Placements of this college have been destroyed after our training and placement officer changed. For civil and mechanical students, placements are not even near 50%. For us, only GATE can help to get higher placements. The average package of our college is 2-3 lakhs per annum.

Satisfied with the college activities, infrastructure but dissatisfied with placement.

Placements: The percentage of placement for the civil branch is very low as compared to other branches like computer science, IT. This percentage is low because maximum students of civil branch focus on the government sector, GATE. The campus placements for the civil branch are also not satisfying, even the students of this branch will have to attend the placements which came for computer science, IT. So, their 1st priority is always computer science, IT students. The highest package for civil is 8 lacs per...

Absolutely satisfied with the college but there are some lags in education and rules

Placements: There is only one company that comes to our college to recruit in a large number, that is TCS. In it, civil students can also be placed. In other branches, there are a lot of companies that take students with them. There is a ratio which shows that 350+ placements have been done last year.

Tremendous experience, awesome faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements at this college are very nice. All the companies near the college prefer to campus their companies in the college. Also, the training and placement cell at the college works very nicely for the overall development of the students. Students studying here got jobs in the R&D department as well as the production department. Average annual package offered is 4-5 LPA at the start.

Placements: The placements in mechanical field are good enough- about 65% in 2016. Some great companies like L&T, Mahindra, etc. came and selected the students for a job. Nice place for those who want to take admission in SSASIT.

This college is situated near the river Tapi and is located opposite to the Kapodara police station, Varachha Road. The college shares its campus with Diploma Engineering and Business Management college as well as the Commerce and Arts colleges, within the same campus. The infrastructure is good as the campus is equipped with CCTV cameras. The lab instruments are as per the government regulations with a UPS backup also available.
