SDMIMD Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Mysore

Placements: The college had 100% placement for all students who were eligible last year. Top companies that visit this college are Infosys and Deloitte. For internships, the college has separate student-run placement committees that help the students get 100% internships.

Placements: About 90% of the students were placed. Others were either not eligible for sitting in campus placements as of low marks or opted out for other reasons. The highest package last year was 12 LPA, an average of 7.5 LPA, and a minimum of 6 LPA. The top recruiter was Infosys. An internship is provided in ICICI bank as a line manager.

Placements: Placements this year started with a bang 60 of our seniors got placed in 1 month. Companies like deloitte, infosys, hdfc came and many more are waiting down the line. Last year also we achieved 100 percent placement which has been a trend at SDMIMD. SIP will start from November. Roles offered are generally business analyst, management trainee, area sales manager etc.

Placements: Our batch is good, and till now no one got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Oracle, Infosys, Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank, TCS and others visited the campus. The top role offered in finance and marketing. All of the students got an internship in good companies like Morgan Stanley, Busch, etc.

Placements: This year our batch placements are pretty good, even though there is not much MNCs are getting into our college, but some companies are offering good profiles with the good package until now almost 60-65% students are placed and 1 more month to go and also expecting the good number of companies to come.

Placements: Placements for the batch of 2015-2017 were unsatisfactory and disappointing. Out of 183 students, only 68 got through in good companies. Remaining got jobs on their own. Don't trust on placement reports. The college is busy in getting the international accreditation which by the way is of no use anywhere.

Placements: Placements during my batch 2015-16 were not so good. Only around 20% of the students of the group got placed. The batch comprises of 400-450 students. The highest salary offered was 5 lakhs per annum, the lowest salary was 1.8 lakhs, and the average salary was around 2.5 lakhs per annum. Companies that visited the campus for placements were Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Myntra, Vedanta, Persistent Systems and other small startups from Goa. Placements: We had a decent placement. There was a mixture of both reputed and mid-sized companies, though the package offered was a bit low when compared with the past years. Companies belonging to IT, FMCG, pharmaceutical, micro-finance, BFSI, digital marketing, etc. industries visited our campus. However, at the end, there were a lot of students who were not placed. The highest package was Rs. 10 lacs on-campus & Rs. 12 lacs off-campus, the lowest package was Rs. 4.5 lacs and the average package was Rs. 5.8 lacs. The curriculum is in line with the industry requirements. I'm able to link whatever I have learned in my present job. Experienced faculty is an added advantage.
