Tech Mahindra and TCS were the top recruiters. 4. Software Engineer roles were offered. 5. The highest package - 4.2 Lacs the lowest package- 2.4 Lacs Average package - 3 Lacs was offered to our course. 6. We did not have internships but projects.

Overall Good college life.

Placements: Placement percentage is low. Most of the companies are IT companies. Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Companies come for the placements. Average package is about 3 to 4 Lacs. Some of the posts are for a call centre job. Overall good placement opportunities.

Review of Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions.

Placements: Placements in our college are average as many non-tech companies or BPOs are the major recruiting companies, along with 3 to 5 IT companies. The salary package mainly ranges from 3-4 LPA. Capgemini, Collebra, TCS, Byju's, etc., visit our college for placements. The highest salary package was offered by Byjus, i.e., 10 LPA.

Faculty was good but college should be more focused on campus placement.

Placements: Only 20% students from our batch would have gotten the placement. There were few companies like byju's offered us a package of 9 lakhpa. And most of the companies were from BPO background. Well, it would be alot better if we they had invited tcs and tech M.

There are highly qualified mentors, good infrastructure, and decent placements.

Placements: Around 65% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 4.7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.33 LPA. Top recruiting companies for B.E. for the batch of 2016 were Tata Consultancy Services and Tech Mahindra. Roles offered for B.E. are assistant system engineer and trainee. Internships are not popular among students of our college, instead of internships, students tend to lean towards vocational training.

Dissatisfied with faculty and placements. No atmosphere for learning and growing.

Placements: The placement of my seniors was around 20%. The highest salary offered was of 10 lac. , the lowest salary offered was of 2.5 lac. And average salary was around 3 lac. Top Recruiting companies for my course were TCS, Tech Mahindra, capgemini and Byjus. Top roles offered in my course were analyst, software developer and tester. Culture of internship doesn't exist in my college and hardly 3-5% students got internship from my course.

Review of Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions.

Placements: College is average for studies. Faculty and Placements are not great. Salary offered during placement was bad. Average salary package offered was 3LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. This college is not great for the engineering branch. Students are not satisfied with their jobs, and most of them have unemployment.

College is good to go for and study. Not much rated but an average one to go and take education.

Placements: As SSITM was new that time, not many companies turned up for placements. Luckily, Cummins visited that year and I got placed in it. Many students opted for higher studies and placements were less that year. I believe now the college has crossed many years so placements might have improved. In my year of passing, not many people were placed.

Review of Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions.

Placements: Placements in our college are decent, but most of the students are not going to get placed. Companies often visit our institution and provide jobs only to the deserving ones. Most of the girls are selected through campus placements. Salary packages offered are handsome, but not all the companies offer the same.

Good infrastructure to support healthy teaching environment.

Placements: SITM has a decent placement record for IT and CSE branches, but for other streams, the placements are not much good. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA due to the high intake of students (720 students). The college also offers an MBA, but the quality of education is not good.

The college is good as I got placed through college placements.

Placements: Only 2 reputed companies named TCS and Tech Mahindra visited the college for placements. The placement rate would be around 40% for CSE branch. But for the rest, it was even the worst and there were no placement opportunities for the civil branch. Other small companies visited the campus, but they hired none from college. It is also because the college is underrated.

A college worth spending 4 years of your life.

Placements: We had a few placement opportunities. Companies from the IT, construction, and service sectors visited the campus for placements. However, they don't offer great placement offers. Nevertheless, this college provides one of the best placement opportunities among the colleges affiliated to CSVTU. The college also helps you get good placement opportunities by organising tests like AMCAT, Cocubes, eLitmus etc.

Placements are decent. Infrastructure is pretty good. Faculty and course curriculum are average.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good as compared to other colleges affiliated to the same university. The placement statistics are gradually increasing every year with more number of companies coming to the college for placements. The average package offered is around 4-4.5 LPA. This year, the highest package bagged by any individual is 12 LPA, which is quite impressive. Overall, the placement scenario in our college is pretty good.

The good aspect of this college is there are no strict rules and regulations.

Placements: Placements in our college were good because one or the other new company visit the campus for placements every year. However, the salary packages are not that good considering the profiles offered. I suggest them to improve the salary packages offered. The management never supports the students to do different things.

The review of Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Technology & Management.

Placements: It's a good place to get placed in different multinational companies. Many well-reputed companies, like Wipro, OCD, Forbes, Oyo Rooms, Mechatech, and Tata, etc., visited the campus to hire talented students. Students of many batches got placed, but placements of the 2018 batch were the best.
